I am willing to believe in alternate/bubble universes, breaking of amulets, pretty much anything if what Joss & Co. offer us as long as at then end of S6 Tara and Willow are still alive and in love.
The only reason I'm holding tighter to the possibility of the AU theory is from a quote in the latest N.A. Buffy magazine, from Christopher Golden (who has written, many, many Buffy novels). He was discussing the process in getting Lost Slayer published and the difficulties thereof. It dealt with a future timeline idea he had bouncing and... well, I'll let his quote speak for me:
The other folks weren't quite as impressed with the idea as I had hoped. The series' writers had yet to put together a little episode they would entitle "The Wish", which would introduce Anya for the first time and -- more importnt to my purposes -- introduce the concept of alternate dimensions and parallel universes into the mythology of Buffy the Vampire Slayer."
Now, I realize this did not come from Joss or Marti, so it isn't canon. But it does kinda fit into my theory. And it's just that. A theory. A hope. Nothing more. But if it is relevant and plays into the coming episodes, I'll be doing the Snoopy dance for weeks.

I know your comments were not directed at me personally. And I do feel the same way about the trolls that frequent so many boards looking for attention. At my home board (UPN) we have no moderators and no way to edit or delete posts. We usually either ignore them or bash them senseless. Usuall if the first doesnt work I get ask to come in and clean up.
Alot of people like to use the "Freedom of speech" excuse when it comes to posting mean or nasty things about individuals, most people dont understand the responsibilities of freedoms though. In a perfect world everyone would understand that on the other end of these pixels and binary codes that creates these images on our monitors is a living, breathing human being with feelings and emotions. That goes for the posters and the occasional actors that stop by.
Enough of my rant about trolls. I understand the pain of attachment and so I empathise with those of you that are upset over the recent news. I have heard some wacky things ever since this spoiler has come out, one went as far as saying Amber stated in an interview that she was leaving the show because whe was tired of wierd fans and sexual advances of homosexuals. This statement had no backing of course, and after listening to Amber on Loveline I do not believe she is all that upset of her adoration. If she was tired of wierd fans why go to the PBP?

Heh, Lothar. That's a great theory. You do hear some wacky ones.
I know for a fact that Amber loves her gay audience and fans. She's pretty proud of Tara and the attention she's received as a by-product of the character.
