*Glances around furtively*Well, I ain't the cap'n, but by my bright and shiny medals, I would like to welcome you aboard anyway, Charlie. Especially in deference to another Wire fan! Yep, hoovering's fun, ain't it!
"Under tungsten glowiness - Dyson kills a carpet's fluffyness"
Heh.
And don't worry about the green and up-chucking side of sea travel - we have buckets stationed all around the poop deck (! how apt!)
Personally, the only time I like to go up the mast (oo-er), is when there's a major storm going on, then I do a Turner, and paint watercolours, whilst lashed to the crows nest, shouting "tally ho, zing zang spillip, and Bernard's your uncle!" It really is the life, you know.
I'm right there with you, Bex - with titles like "Shattered" and "Wrecked", I can't bloody wait!!!! I'm quivering with antici................pation!
Edited to add: You know, with the Melchett ref, the only song to sing should be
Row, row, row your boat
Gently down the stream
Belts off, trousers down
Isn't life a scream, Oi!
Don't you think? After four, everyone -

*Sings*
Oh, you can tell, by the rapture on my face,
That synthetic fur makes for a sensual embrace!
