Happy One Year! Thanks, Xita, for making such a great board for us W/T-loving Buffy fans. I remember how, when we made the move from ITW, I was all pouty-lipped and whiny with "I dont like this Novogate format. it's not as good as the old board, waahhhh." But I cant imagine now how we could have gotten along without this format - it's perfect.
I know that I may suffer from dibilitating LPCS (Low Post Count Syndrome), but I love this board and I visit it several times each day. Long live W/T, long live The Kitten.

Wow. It's hard to believe it's only been a year.
The Kitten feels to me like like one of those old high school or college friends. You've known each other for years and can just hang out on a ratty old couch or something. Just comfy and homey.
Who knew, back when a couple of characters joined forces to try to save thier own lives, that we would have what we have today? Complete strangers cowering in a dark room, finding power and wonder in each other in a moment of terror. Who knew? Who could see the fingers intertwine and imagine the snuggles and the kisses and the endearments and the love to come? And of course, who went online, looking for like-minded folks to speculate and hope with? To analyze and scutinize and project and wish? The Kitten now has a life of its own, but without Joss and his principles and his vision (and the sappy romantic side he tries to hide, but we know the truth), we wouldn't be here, so my most heartfelt thanks to him.
On a personal note, I can't imagine what my life would be like without some of the special people I've met here, the Kitten community is like none other I've ever experienced on the web. That I played any part at all in building this place as it is today(or as I like to think of it "not messing it all up too much") makes me shake my head in amazement. It's a tribute to the solid foundation laid down by Xita and Zelda, way back in the dim times.
I love this place. Happy Birthday Kitten.

This is a late night/early morning I-should-be-in-bed-right-now post to say that I've grown to love this place.... grown much in the same way that ivy grows on a tree and chokes it to -- Err, hang on, I don't think that came out right.
