"The Gift" Revisited

Thanks Xita, it's great to be here.

From the onset Will's magic was "soupy" but with Tara she has balance, control and harmony(not the vamp). I look forward to their growing relationship and I figure that she and Tara will move in the Summers' house since they will be taking care of Dawn until Buffy returns. I can't wait until the musical and the rumored love song from Tara to Willow, it makes me all tingly.

IIRC, the last time we saw Anya's apartment was in Into The Woods. She may have moved in with Xander since then, but it hasn't been established. Nevertheless, one of the reasons Xander wanted that snazzy apartment was cuz Anya was dead-set on it, but it wouldn't be too surprising to find out they're either de facto or officially living together, especially since I figure they're going to have to pick up a little of the slack in looking after Dawn.

I want to see that dragon and those weird white monsters again. They were cool.

The Gift I thought was an absolute excellent episode!!!

I actually downloaded the sound clip of Buffy's dying speech just a few hours b4 the episode was aired over here (UK).....and I totally cried my eyes out, and that was just the sound clip!! So u can imagine wot i was like when the episode came on!!! I was crying loads!!!

Even my Mum, (who actually cries at n e thing, including the National Anthem when it's played at n e olympics etc) cried!! My Mum doesn't watch Buffy, altho I fill her in on what's happening, she cried loads!!!

"The Gift" Revisited

Wooo, it finally aired in Australia last night. With Angel no less The build up at the beginning with flashes of everything since the beginning of the show was just perfect to set up the feeling for a 100th episode.

Once again brilliant writing. I was crying one moment and then laughing the next ("Don't have another coma...") Ben... pah the feelings I was working on for him went away with this episode. Glory was wonderful as ever. I will miss her, not Ben though.

On a side note, I been recently watching Bring It On and it's amazing how different Clare Kramer can look with just a different hair style. She looks so much older with darker, curlier hair. Anyway...

Buffy, she got on my nerves a little at the beginning, basically saying she'd kill each and everyone of them if they tried to get to Dawn. I can understand her, but it still got annoying. But here was noble Buffy, the hero as they said. Since the start of the episode she still looked like she has lost the will to live, which we got the answer to later... I knew it was coming and still bawled my eyes out, even more so then when The Body aired.

The minions, great as ever. "Take my brain oh groovetastic one!" "This will be our day of Glory!" "Nice pun" Had me in fits of laughter, right before the crying again. Spike on the side of good was really really nice to see. Protecting Dawn with his life, no matter what happened to him. His crying at the end was hard to watch.

Where did Willow get her whacky telepathic powers? Cool, but I don't really know if I want to see more of it. I don't know. Nice to see Tara with her brain back, it was interesting while it lasted. ("Or, it might make all our heads explode...")

The dagon sphere, hmm the point of it? Introduced in one episode, didn't come back till the end and was crushed instantly. Yes.... moving on.

Buffy's fight with Glory, ewww did we really need sound effects? I can see the pounding, I don't need to hear the squishing. I can't help but think now, well, where do we go from here? She's faced a god and beat her down. What next? The portal, very cool. Nice effects, strange creepy creatures. Wonder what happened with them? Once again Sunnydale gets its annual blowing up, how much do they spend on repairing things a year I do ask?

Finally, Buffy's death. A beautiful scene, and such a Buffy thing to do. I hope she's doing well wherever she ended up Sad, eeiry, beautiful, everything I hear Xena couldn't do. Just goes to show, it's not the death of a character that pisses people off, it's how it's done. Long live Buffy

Wooo, way too much writing. Must go watch Glory in her tight black suit now

Had to tape it yet again tonight; the first two times I was bedeviled by bad reception, but the third time truly was the charm. Again after watching the ending, couldn't help but choke up a little. This show is making me quite the softie.

I know that this should be "The Gift - Revisited, Again"

I have one other ething that I noticed again this time, but it really stuck...

What happened to the building that changed, and the dragon??? I know tht once the 'flow of blood' stopped, the walls between realities 'came back up'.

But that still might not explain the dragon and the changed building. Shouldn't they still be around??

I could see Buffy and gang having to slay a dragon. Although knowing Joss, thayt probably isn't a big deal. And really doesn't fitt into the 'Jossverse'.

But I cna't be the only one who is wondering about that..

Speaking of unresolved issues . . .

I was watching HBO, and I saw Superman hitting on Ben at a West Hollywood party. And I thought a Slayer / Vampire couple was far out ...
