Stoner Park Shoot Report 1/23

hi people

ok i went yesterday and enjoyed, though none of the majors were there that i could tell. The only real actress there was girl in the blue robe from the other pics. I did get some pics of her that are hopefully focused right and fairly up close. though most of the people there were the crew and SMG's stunt doubles and (i think) nick's and amber's doubles....i got pics of them so you can tell me if im totally off. the clothes looked like ones xander and tara would wear. there were some cool sequences with the fighting. i tried taking one as the amg double grabbed a swing, kicked herself through and used the board as a weapon. um....getting the pics developed today, so hopefully i'll be able to find someone with a scanner and be able to get them uploaded here or somewhere.

if there are any other shoots, where the common folk can attend, lemme know, and maybe we could have our little group attend. i would love to meet more of you LA people for sure.

Woo-hoo! Good job, Sabrina! Not bad for a rookie.

It'll be interesting to see what Amber's stunt double looks like. And with a stunt Xander there as well, it sounds like there's some major outdoor action going on in this episode.

You can check out the location schedule yourself using the EIDC Shoot Sheet website. Scroll down to the blank marked "Production Title," type in "Buffy" and click "Submit Query." If a Buffy shoot has been scheduled, the website will tell you where and when it is. Alas, there are no more shoots scheduled for now.

The city of Pasadena (my home) has its own location shoot calendar. You can find it here. I know the Buffy crew has been to Pasadena at least twice. Last year the end of "Who Are You" was shot at the Episcopal Church of the Angels over on Avenue 64, and this year there was a small crew doing an external shot of Castle Green over on Raymond Avenue, which they use as the establishing shot for Glory's hideout.

awesome sabrina! thanks a bunch for the report, my curiousity regarding buffy shoots is nearly insatiable.
im really curious to see what ambers stunt double is like. i had no idea she had one! for some reason i only thought smg did. *shrug*

You are a Gem Sabrina. This shoot sounds as interesting if not more so than the primary shoot. All the action really takes place with second units and stunt doubles.

thank you all for the compliments and encouragement. anyway i did delope the pics today...some of them turned out really good. now i just need to fin someonw with a scanner.

It was really cool seeing all the fighting sequences. because of the action and also im looking to getting into the filming industry maybe.

I got one of my rolls back today, the one with SMG in it, barely lol. The other one is with my Amber pics and that hasn't come back. Tomorrow they tell me.

And Sabrina I found it fascinating even just watching the stunt doubles do their thing.
