Fic: Final Exam

Postby Grimaldi » Fri Mar 29, 2002 12:18 pm

Great update, the dinner scene reminded me of the first time I met my girlfriend's parents.
The romance part was sweet, too much smut can make you go blind. However, I am looking forward to the smut in the next part.

------------------
"I don't care if it is an orgy of death, there's still such a thing as a napkin." Willow, Superstar
"I want my room to be Willow-friendly." Tara, New Moon Rising

"I present to you, the 5 assed monkey"
"Now who put his who-who-dilly in your cha-cha?"

Romance is good, agreed. But you know, even in the midst of the smut, the essential idea is that both girls can't control themselves because of their feelings, not because it's just gratuitous sex.

And don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled that you like what I've done and you know, I'd write the way I want anyway, whether there were ten people reading or just one.

I just get the impression that you prefer chapters like this than chapters like the library cage one, that's all. That was my point, however badly I expressed it. I do apologise.

Yes ruth, sweet romance it is all part of it. See this chapter shows how much they love each other and that love will be physicall expressed now in a new way for them, so that they can have that earth shattering sex but also know something else is going on.

I told you before that I think your fic (ok maybe not sex in the library, more like tara's dorm room) is how I think the show went. I always thought they had a physical relationship before they had defined their relationship and before they had said I love you. I always thought it would be easier for Willow to jump into a physical relationship before she sorted what it all meant for her.

Don't worry Ruth, you're just perfect. We can have a beautiful romance and a lot of crazy sex. That's very good this way.

Right xita, and that's really why I wanted to write this fic I suppose. I think the physical stuff is really easy for them both; the feelings behind it are their stumbling blocks.

Tara, of course, always knew she was gay and knew right away what she felt for Willow. Willow, on the other hand...sigh...and the angst-o-meter just keeps on crankin' up another notch.

I suspect Willow will struggle with her feelings somewhat. Just as she did on the show. Verbalizing them will probably be difficult for her in this fic too.

You're right, but that's just me. No harm no foul.

Tara: Willow, I got so lost.
Willow: I found you. I will always find you.

Tara: Nobody messes with my girl!

Willow: Hi, um Tara. How are you? I was wondering maybe you want to go out sometime for coffee? food? kisses and gay love?quote:

I am so loving this. That dinner scene was quite cringe-worthy. And it's interesting to see their positions somewhat reversed, what with the dialogue switch and all. And that bit at the end, with Willow seeing how Tara was looking at her. Wow. I could see it. And it gave me butterflies. No joke.

And I saw lip-chewing! Oh, yeah.

I love the romance, I love the smut. (That sounds like the beginning of a cheer. The walls between these threads are mighty thin.) I've read enough of your stories to know that whatever you write, even if it goes in a direction I'm not expecting (and don't think I'll like), will be beautiful and I'll be glad I read it. Hey, I've still got the last jam tart in all the land in my freezer.

Lovely (first part of a) chapter Ruth *sigh* I love all the romance. And the use of lines from the show is, well for want of a better word inspired. Keep up the wonderful writing, you have one loyal reader in me that would read anything you wrote. Um no need to test that ok
