FIC: Second Chance

Okay,
I KNOW I am supposed to be working on Unexpected Consequences...and homework... BUT last night's episode was so painful with Willow and Tara so nervous, I just had to do something.
I wrote this last night. It's SHORT. *gasp* There aren't tons of side stories... just W&T loving with some angst tossed in. It's only one part and there are NO CLIFFHANGERS. Hardly sounds like me.

I was wishing Willow and Tara would just do what we ALL know they want to do and it occurred to me...hello? Fan fiction? They CAN do what we all know they want to do!

valentine's day is great, and it hasn't even started yet! i get chocolates from my mum, and great fic from lisa! If i only had a valentine, it'd be darn near perfect!

Jiminy cricket - that was amazing. You think you know where a story is taking you and then there's a complete 180 degree turn. And you think - "What the frilly heck just happened?" I had to read some of it again to make sure I hadn't made a mistake the first time.

Another excellent piece.

Personally I love to see the story that lead up (short haired) Tara's decision to go back in time.

Now, I am not implying I would want to see Willow get killed. I would never ever want that. But your style of writing is so lucid that the chance to see a highly emotional and then resolved Tara is almost to good to pass up.

Seriously, can't you all just see the scene where Tara begs Spike to kill her? I can imagine first she feels the profound loss and only wants to get rid of the pain, then getting angry at Spike for not doing it. Even blaming him for Will's death to get him mad enough; telling him that he 'owes' her that much.

Might be a little too intense for the board, but I think it would be an excellent piece. Of course I wanted to go over similar ground with “Queen of Darkness”, but I may have to change that.

And I also think of all the writers here, and many are very good, Lisa is the only one who could pull this off. I am sorry and no offense to anyone else, but she has proven it.

Excellent. Brilliant even. I can even ignore the "vixen" line that comes up in *way* too many fan fics for my taste.

I totally agree. I never want to read about the death of Willow, but seeing what Tara would do to try and change that could be a great story. You write such emotional, angsty pieces, that I think you could do something amazing with this.
