I really liked that story about the inner-workings of Willow's mind. They're just so cute together!

I think this will help Tara to remember all that she could lose if she trusts the Trickster, and when Willow tries to talk her out of it, she'll be easier to convince about not being all self-sacrificy, won't she?

Ahhhh, Sass what a lovely rememberence. Thank you for the update. True it didnt fix anything about the cliffhanger, but it did get some of the kittens closer to solid ground with this. Thanks again. :)

Oh that was great Sass.

That was SO Willow, being chased by vamps and wondering about Bert and Ernie. You did an excellent job on shy Tara as well. No wonder they fell in love!

Thank you!

:lol Oh god.. that was classic Willow. Not only the bizarreness of wondering that question in the first place, but then somehow meandering all the way to rubber duckies and boats during bathtime. :) That was great!

great update :)

even if it didn't resovle anything it was a nice break from the action. I like that Tara has a little of the Willow babble going in the midst of a crisis. The Bert and Ernie and rubber duckies was very funny :grin

Awww, Grasshopper, you're so screwed.

**blameburner: As long as you have something happy to occupy your mind with, you're all set *G* Hopefully, by the time I update again, I'll have enough of the chapter done that it resolves the cliffhanger.

**willowphile420: Heh ... who >hasn't< wondered about Bert and Ernie? Well, ummm ... probably not the little kids watching the show, but *shrug* I know >I've< thought about it.

**Jennpurr: You're welcome. It made me smile, too, and I wanted to write something happy - unfortunately, a flashback was the only way I could work that in *G*

**wiccachica: And I am speechless with joy that you're reading again ;)

**Willowfan: No one can resist the joy and wonder of the Rubber Ducky. He makes bathtime lots of fun *G* Just about the only thing I remember from my high school spanish class is the translation of the Rubber Ducky song.

**Jennpurr: What Autumn Said.

**Autumn: Which reminds me ... I should go check that out, and see if I can do any fun things with my extra-special Autumn-Quote Sig

**mollyig: Oh, hell yeah ... Willow and Tara are just the cutest couple ever, and if only "cute" beat "Hell God" they'd be fine *G* However, how Tara reacts and how the whole Glory-Thing happens from Tara's point-of-view will show up later in this part.

**Little M: LOL ... and there are Rubber Ducky fans coming out of the woodwork all over this thread. And yes, you have to love the Rubber Ducky *G*

**TX: You're very welcome *G* Funny how Hell makes Tara think of cute nice things, isn't it?

**WebWarlock: How can you not love a girl who manages to work the phrase "Whoa! Giant Duck!" into a conversation? Or a girl who used to make sure the tiny sailors on her boat make friends with the monstrous yellow duck?

**LeatherQueen: Heh ... the original conversation I had mapped out in my head was about Bert and Ernie, but then the Rubber Ducky comment was made, and off they went. It was fun. *G*

**Karzia: Thank you! 50 pages of this thread - y'think maybe we would have broken it on the old board? And yeah - I'm constantly delighted by how people react to this fic.

**Grimaldi: Well, the girl who gave us the "half-camel" has her own penchant for bizarre conversations, I think *G* Glad you liked it *G*

**ExtraFlameyWT: Heh ... good *G* I'll post more plot-oriented things later tonight.

**Puff: You're welcome *G* The inner-workings of people's brains just kind of ... fascinate me. I have no idea why. But, despite being fictional, Willow and Tara are just so cutely weird, their minds are extra-fun *G*

Yeah Sass. I wanna be in color at least. :)

BTW, I always thought there was something going on between Burt & Ernie. You should have seen how they "comforted" each other when poor Elmo died to make a shirt for Willow.

Yes it is Miss1234Kitty, he is on at my house like 3 times a day. "Buttons" loves to sing the intro song. (ok she really just likes to do the "OOOOOOOOOOOO" part of it, but still) :)

I am sure that Sass has that thing rigged to be pulled out from under the Kittens.

Sass: I can see why you are having trouble writing this bit, if Tara doing the rest ritual does not pin the angst meter, I don't know what will.

The 'TaraBabble' was wonderful, and infact stands as good or better than anything the show does. I am very sorry the show does not have some of the relationships this fic does.

Miss1234Kitty it is a reference to something Tara and Willow talked about once. Sorry but I can't remember the episode for the life of me :) Although I know it was season 6.

Well short but still a great update. And thank you for bringing up the rubber ducky. Because of you, I have the song on loop on my computer as I finish up some work :)

Thanks so much and there will be another update soon, right?

Hey there, all you nice, kind, understanding, wonderfully sympathetic people ...

I'm just a teeny bit sick, and I have to go take a final right about ... well, nowish, actually, then I'm going to see just how long it's humanly possible to remain unconscious without a severe blow to the head or drugs.

I have some more stuff written, but I'm feeling way yucky, and don't really have time to type it up right now. However, I will do so as soon as I can. I expect really late tonight or early tomorrow.

Feel well soon Sassette. Personally I've found that 2 tbsp. honey, 2 tbsp lemon and a shot of rum warmed up and mixed helps. But that's just my remedy.
