Uh...*thud*..duh.

Oh my goodness.

That was VERY intense.

I mean... WOW

And really.."Never in her life had Tara ever wanted to be a chicken casserole so badly."

I actually laughed out loud.

Sass...you do magnifico work, really.

:willow and :tara are both beautifully written here, and throughout the entire story.

Thanks for the 'Wow' ... *G*

Postby Sassette » Sun Apr 07, 2002 12:42 am

**TX: Okay, okay ... you have a good point ... we LIKE the evil you *G* So, taunt away.

**Autumn: Whew! Okay, you just listed off everything I was hoping to convey with this update ... that just makes me feel all warm in fuzzy inside. Thank you *G*

**W.I.: And damn, I feel good. ;)

**LeatherQueen: I'm so glad you liked it ... this makes me a happy little monkey.

**Puff: Ahhh, Puff! I'm extremely glad to hear that it was worth the wait ... I really kinda' felt bad about taking so long to write this ... but it's been pointed out to me that that's, y'know, insane.

**maudmac: The whole faith angle was what made me take so long with this part (well, that and the whole 'sex' thing ... that takes time and an extremely silly mood) ... I wanted to get all the details right, but more importantly, I wanted to convey exactly why Tara would want to do this ... it made sense in my head, and I'm just glad it worked out on paper *G* And yeah ... the intentions thing kind of ... surprised me. Come to think of it, W/T surprised me a lot this update.

**BytrSuite: And I'm feeling all happy to have spread the happy feelings ... thank you *G*

**tommo: *stares at Ruth's sassy eggs* ... ... ... *stares at Joel* ... ... ... *sassy eggs* ... *Joel* ... *sassy eggs* ... *Joel* ... *sassy eggs**Joel* ... *sassyeggs**Joel**sassyeggs**Joel* ..... Okay, my brain hurts. Umm ... you've been very naughty. Extremely naughty. Excruciatingly naughty. But, umm ... that's okay *G*

**bulldog tidnab: Awwww ... that's so sweet. Thank you *G*

**katydid: Honestly? I had no idea at the first part this was going to be such an epic, either.

**molsongrrrl: *happy sigh* Chicken casserole. I love that stuff.

**Willowfan: Yeah, that line had me laughing, too. I almost took it out because I wasn't sure that it fit in with the overall tone I was going for at that opint, and then I realized that, no, that's SOOOO what Tara would have been thinking. Then Yuri (*waves at Yuri*) forbade me to remove it, and so there it was. I'm really glad I left it *G*

UPDATE

Postby Drakkenfyre » Sun Apr 07, 2002 12:53 am

Chicken casserole...yummy... always been one of my favs.. even more so now... I love this fic with all my heart and soul. I have been following it since day one just too damn lazy to leave feedback, for that I am horribly ashamed. *lowers eyes* Please do continue with any other entree you wish to throw our way.

Hey Smittens, the Mitten Accessories Emporium has just sent over a case of a new product that several Oompa Loompas have spent the afternoon working on - a 6"x8" applicque of a chicken casserole that we can sew onto our Smitten cheerleading uniforms (or plaids, since that seems to be the new fad) And if you look very carefully, the delicate artistry of the Oompa Loompas has managed to depict a pair of sparkling blue eyes and sensuous lips on the casserole dish. So I'll just leave this box here *small thud* for anyone who wants one....after you've picked yourselves up off the floor, that is.

**Drakkenfyre: And laziness is always a valid excuse with me - I'm not entirely convinced there's anyone on the face of the Earth, past present or future, who is lazier than I am *G* And, umm ... I'll try to work in another entree ... y'know, if I can. *shrug*

**Pixie: LOL ... A blue-eyed full-lipped chicken casserole? This is a visual I had managed to avoid up until this point.

**wiltar: Heaven? Wow. Umm ... thanks *G*

Heh ... not bloody likely. I'm giving myself the day off after writing that darn-near 20-page thing that disguised itself as one update. I deserve a break today.

Besides, there's that whole "set your clock one hour ahead" thing ... it makes me cranky.

God no! A cranky writer is not a productive writer! And I'm glad you liked the casserole dish appliques. The Oompa Loompas will be very pleased.

Sass,

I just have to say that I ran out and bought chicken casserole fixings. I figure that's the only way I'll get anyone to eat MY chicken casserole for a while. Seriously, though, that was just *wow* and *whew* and pretty much every other onomatopoeia that exists. Fantabulous job, hun! Just great!

Your Kind Responses

Postby Sassette » Sun Apr 07, 2002 6:42 pm

**TX: Awww ... you're giving me a break from that godawful cracking noise of the "write, dammit, write!" whip? That's SO sweet!

**Pixie: Yes, I know ... which is why I'm trying to get my levels of abject crankiness lowered by throwing creative and colorful insults at my esteemed coworker, Derek. He's fun like that *G* And I'm actually VERY pleased with the Oompa Loompas. Give them a raise, okay? Or, if they're not being paid, maybe a bonus? Like - more work? They love that. They're such happy and productive little things.

**WebWarlock: ROFL ... Ummm ... I think I'm flattered to have reduced you to 'Beavis and Butthead'-like utterances. Bizarrely Randome Sidenote: You all familiar with MoviePhone? You call up and get the times and places of the movies near you? And there's that GUY who does the recording with that VOICE! It's >>very<< distinctive. Anyway, my two best guy-friends spent two hours straight calling movie phone and listening to the guy say "Beavis and Butthead DO America!"

Sorry. Random story. I'm done now.

**blameburner: Thank you! I'm glad you found it to be worth the wait ... it took much longer to write than I had thought it would, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

**Sela: Mmmm ... chicken casserole is yummy *G* And extra points for you for the use of 'onomatopoeia' in a coherent manner. Yay!

**GemBem: Heh Heh.

**mollyig: *G* That was one of my favorite bits, too ... and one of the reasons this update took so long - the final draft of that scene made the synchronicity bit MUCH clearer.

**shadowcase: Well, y'know ... when you think of W/T, what do you think of? I mean, if you're a total smutten, sex probably springs to mind. Then, y'know, they're witches, so .. magick. Sex ... Magick ... Sex. Magick. Sex Magick.

It wasn't that hard a jump ;)

**wiccachica: Ahhh, wiccachica, my dear. I'm exteremely glad you liked it. Thank you - and thank you for once again gracing this thread with the presences of your strangely compelling hopping sheep.

Because ... it's just so WRONG. Yet Oh-So-Right.

Parts 43a-43c

Postby daydreamer » Sun Apr 07, 2002 9:05 pm

Just three words for now: Romantic and hot. I mean, I would have written more to aptly describe all the parts but they've totally blown my mind away. I'm stunned right now and in real need of a long, cold shower. Sass, you really rock! And your fic is not just enjoyable now but educational as well. Thanks for the whole Jewish Shabbat dinner scene. And of course, I can't leave out 42c. :grin
