*Oh for sure, The Birdcage is one of my favourite comedies. I know what you mean about Miami though, I lived there too for 2 years and I always get a little nostalgic when I see a shot of the city or the beach in a movie/TV show.

*Ummmm, the Gables is a pretty area. I grew up south of there in the Perrine/Cutler Ridge area and lived there until I was 24. My wife & I left right after we got pummeled by Hurricane Andrew. :smash :smash Unfortunately, we never made it back (living wise) but we still visit at least once a year. I really it miss it cuz that's where all our friends are.

*That whole thing was just kinda dumb, in my opinion. Annette Benning was awesome though, but I didn't think the movie as a whole, deserved an Oscar nomination. Glad it didn't win!

I told my sister-in-law once that she looked like Charlize Theron, and she didn't know who that was, so I said 'the chick from Monster' which she took to mean I meant she looked like her in Monster, when I really meant she looked like glammed-up Charlize. To this day she still tells people I called her ugly :P
