Dang, you made me beg!
I love this story..its so awesome...When I read this story its like I am right there and can see it all play out in my mind. I can't wait for the next update. I am hooked. You are doing such a great job writing it..
I love internet stalking…it’s like a national pastime for me!Oh, internet stalking. How wonderful a medium of knowledge aquisition you are.
Hmmmm…probably, lolIt better be Willow on the phone
Sorry for the cliffhanger, on the bright side…you and Tara will not have to wait any longer! See update below:)Oh what a tease you just had to end it there didn’t you! Aw poor Tara waited so long for the phone call.
She does, unfortunately, it’s not A-List celebrity fame. Which could cause some drama in the near future.I'm really pleased that Willow has a high degree of notoriety in her own right, so that Tara won't feel so self-conscious about being famous.
It’s not the first time for our sweet Willow to be oblivious and I’m sure it won’t be the last, lol She is smart, but still a bit naïve.I thought Tara being overly perky and Willow oblivious was entertaining
She plays second base. I debated whether to make her a pitcher or not, but she’s pretty small and I thought second would suit her a little better.Willow's pretty badass. What position does she play? Knowing our Willster, she's a pitcher
No problem! My next post will be an update. Thanks for cheering up my evening!
Hahaha…the same thing I was thinking when I wrote it!! Sorry for the tease…not! LolOkay, First let me get my Beavis and Butthead flashback out of my head...huh,huh,huh...you said doggy doddy. Next let me say that you are a big ole dirty Tease!!!!! Great update.
It definitely helps, but also opens up a whole other can of worms.Willow is somewhat of a celebrity in her own right, which I guess kinds of evens them up, although on different playing fields.
Me too!!! Now my daughter plays, so I have to live vicariously through her, lol Not always an easy thing to do.Oh, how I miss my softball playing days. (?)
One of my favorite episodes of that show! I fell in love with Dana from the start…which my girlfriend has since dubbed “the kiss of death.” The only other couple cuter than those two was Willow and Tara…of course:)Reminds me of the scene from the L Word where Dana wanted to know if the "soup chef" was gay.
She definitely has friends, but tends to keep most of them at arms length. I think she wants to trust, but with her celebrity, it’s hard for her to know who she can trust.I'm also glad to hear that Tara has a close friend in Pammy. She seems so alone that it's nice to hear.
Wait until we get to see Willow actually playing:) I promise all kinds of fun!I absolutely loved seeing Willow and Tara in their 'natural environments'.
HA! This comes from Miss “Hope you don’t mind, I made myself comfortable while I was waiting for you.” LOLI'll jump on the bandwagon and shake my finger at you for ending it where you did... shame, shame!
Beginnings are always so much fun!I love how vividly you capture humor and shyness and growing closer.
Similar yes and totally hot! lolReally love the idea of Willow playing softball which I'm imagining is pretty much the same as baseball in which case, so hot!
Thanks so much!! What a nice compliment:) I’m glad you’re liking it.Accurate characterization is always a problem with ubers and why I seldom really dig them; this one you have nailed. I can completely see W&T as these women
I agree! It’s hard to stay completely original when there are so many different fics out there. I don’t believe that I have read any of yours, but I will definitely go in search of them!!It's always interesting to see parallels between different writers (like the two fics with Tara on bikes lately!) I know it seems like I'm always comparing to my own fics

Maybe she just says ‘like’ a lot? I mean, she IS from California…

She could feel the surge of energy within her and it went by the name of Willow.

:D:D
.

My girlfriend and I are celebrating our 19th anniversary is this Sunday and I have some prep work to do;-)
Was she about to say she liked me? She definitely censored herself. Maybe she likes me, likes me? Maybe she just says ‘like’ a lot? I mean, she IS from California…

...I'm so doing a happy dance..I loved this update and can't wait for more..Your doing a great job...I can't wait to see how they deal with the tabloids and the paprazzis....keep up the great job..
Thanks Laragh!congratulations on your 19th anniversary! That's more years than I even am old!!
Don’t be sad…I’m sure they’ll work it out. But it may take some time.I'm kinda sad after that chapter, thinking of the chink in the armour of them being famous and Tara's insecurities :(
At least it didn’t take them to long to figure it out. Lot’s of first date fun to come!!Inspector-My girls got a 'clue'
They always seem to be lurking somewhere, hopefully they won’t interfere too much in the beginning.I kinda hope that the paparazzi's sort of ignore them until they are properly a couple and worked out their insecurities
It makes me happy that it makes you happy!!I even saved the latest to read as a treat at the end of my day.
The celebrity angle is interesting. I can't imagine the pressure that would put on a new couple. I wonder how they will both handle it.
Let’s hope not, after all she does have her tough athletic girl rep to keep up!Willow has said she'd be nervous with Tara there... I can feel something spaz-y coming on
They don't live very far apart and I guess they could just hang out together, but I felt like that would be uncomfortable for Tara, since she is so guarded with who she lets in to her personal life. This way no huge amounts of awkwardness...if they get bored, they can just hang up!I loved the phone interaction. The fact that their schedules are so demanding kinda lends this the only avenue for them to get to know each other well and right away
I know right? I know it was kinda cliché and hope I didn’t offend anyone…it was just too good to pass up!tomboy = might be gay, softball player = more than likely gay, tomboy softball player = way gay.
My Willow is pretty straight forward, honest and confident. So, she gave it several days and felt that regardless of Tara’s reaction…it had to be said.I totally get needing to feel a person out first (no pun intended) before coming out to them. (?)
This has turned out to be one of my favorite chapters:)I'm so happy Tara wants to go to Willow's game.
She most definitely is, however, it is a college game and I’m sure she will most likely go incognito! W/T being photographed together is most definitely looming on the horizon…we’ll just have to wait and see how it all plays out.I'm supposing that Tara's the kind of start who would get photographed watching a softball game but maybe I'm overestimating.
I know!!! Sounds like a little slice of heaven to me!!Ooo Tara get's to see Willow all hot and sweaty, on their first date even, lol.
It will definitely be interesting to see how all this plays out…Now, what kind of ramifications will happen for Tara?
You know, I just bought all 3 of her novels and have been so busy reading fics on here, I haven’t even started Death’s Daughter yet. My daughter blew through Among The Ghosts in about a week & I haven’t even gone past the intro, lolI couldn't help but be reminded of Amber's first solo novel, Death's Daughter, after reading this. Too funny!
Ahhhh yes…let’s not forget the lovely Sarah, pining away for Willow. But trouble may also come from someone unexpected…one particular player won't be too happy knowing there's "competition" for the red-head's affections
I can't tell you how much i enjoyed them internet stalking each other
