Authors Notes; This is just a little poem that I came up with for our favourite blue eyed blonde.
When I was sad or hurt I knew
that I could always rely on you
You never accused or judged
you're friendship, you never begrudged
You always believed in the best so much
So many lives were improved by your touch
People who may not have had a chance alone
were shown by you the inner power they owned
Though you were hurt by those
who should have loved and cared for you
Hatred was never your way.
Instead you became a ray
A light, a shining marker
to aid those whose lives had become darker
Now you are gone, taken in an accident so cruel
and I am left to struggle alone, feeling a fool
But when I walk the streets at night
and nothing but hoplessness is in sight
I look up at the stars in the dark sky
and know that somehow I'll get by.
I know I'll make it all right again
because you are with me, Tara my friend
