Kill Bill Volume 2 (ha! i made it before hollywood did!)

Postby thebardgirl » Wed Dec 31, 2003 4:54 am

hiya! unfortunately i don't have an update as we speak...it's wierd now...because i had a vision for Bill...now...wow...the response i got from him....hmm...it's making my brain hurt...in a good way!

so....as i turn my cd player on, and head into replydom...i got a question: what animal is most likely, in your opinion, to turn out to be the guardian of Hades? (if not Cerberus)....okay? get back to me on that...

Replies:

MellindraX-i am playing with your emotions on purpose? no....no....never....well, okay so i did post it in the most evil way, but i promise i had other plans at first....it was not meant originally to be this way....and that makes no sense, does it? ah well....whatever....wait, die, bitch, die? you're talking about Bill, right? cause if you were referring to my Baseball card collection, i'd have to attack you with pitch forks...ah...oh dear, it seems now the backfire of your amazingly good timing with updatage is happening; i'm not posting an update now....sorry....it'll be a bit longer...

TexanZeppo256-oh, i'm sorry...didn't mean to disturb...ah well... yes i do...ah! yes, we are very much in the fire...for now...only...gah...its complicated, and not exactly written down, more or less stuck in my head...hmm..i hope i get them happily away from all danger with a pink pony as well...hmm..i should do that...yes, they do need to reconnect...only...i gotta take care of these nasty nasties, first, don't i? well, i could just have a huge storm come by and sweep the two girls off to a magical island....but, wait, i thought this was a normal world i put them in? ah...whatever..

snuggle79-whoops....a bit different then you were expecting?

hmm in recompense...i wanna say:

Es tut mir leid… Fuer was ich geschrieben habe, gibt es ein “Sequel”, aber die Geschichte wechselt sich immer. Ich bin noch nicht sicher, was in der Geschichte passieren wird. Ich bin sehr dankbar dafuer, dass Du meine Geschichte gelesen hast!

it seems i have me a coolio translator visiting....and she was very helpful in ...helping...me...thanks for reading (as always).

samdarls- yeah, i'm feeling mighty fine, due to the awesomeness of mood swings, see, that doesn't mean ONLY bad moods, but good moods too! ooo....hey i get an electronic kiss to make it all better? now i'm definitely better...

Arwen276-coarsing? coarsing? who's coarsing? i'm neither cursing nor coarsing, my dear....i'm just....mixing....Creeperson...is...full of surprises...well hey, you liked the end of anya! alright! whoo to you too! your opinion is an opinion and thus different....dramatics are nice? can i quote you on that? hmm...well.....more or less i think i like to put Willow in danger...just so i know that she'll get something fabtabulous in return, so....let's see where this goes...

p.s. merry christmas to you too (cause i celebrate it)...only i don't think of it as a early birthday for a Christian Messiah and Jewish Prophet, but a grand pagan ritual filled with great pagan symbols (with the tree an all)....and a great drunk guy (note the red nose) bringing presents! Hey...doesn't that sound better than some birthday party? i think so...

bluewilllowwitch-Ooo, a rose next tah mah name...me likes....ah, you like Mr. Barker? interesting...oh i'm not toying with you....although i could be toying with you now saying that i'm not toying with you when i really am toying with you....hmm...i'm confused...you still love me? i'm slightly frightened, but happy by that...

Tempest Duer- You vote for Bill being Bad too? Hmm....i'm sorry...the whole homophobia thing....who knew? ah well. i guess i did...oh no, dude! i love 'em...did i say anything against kisses earlier? possibly i was on my anti-smiley rant...but that was only because a smiley (possibly the devil one) once told me that my mother wore army boots.....which isn't really an insult seeing as i wear boots that look like army boots but are actually dr. martens...and now i'm confused again...damn...thanks for replying...

sabina-hey! hmm....couldn't get worse? you're tempting me now to do something REALLY destructive....*intakes breath* but i won't....no, i won't harm tara....yet....i don't know...it's up to the story and how bitchy i am that day....eep...i didn't say that...nope..i didn't...can't prove it...you agree with everyone else? hmm...interesting...hmm...*thinks malisciously* i mean....lollypop? *offers* yes, yes, mucho snugglos...in need indeed...

allykat-oops...sorry to make you go all snorty...yeah, i think i should stop attacking Willow for a bit...it's getting repetitive i think....should i attack some one else? maybe a blond? i'll do that, thanks for the suggestion..sounds good....

Karmah-Ooo....interesting opinion! You don't think he is that bad? I wonder why? yep...i feel bad for Willow...i think it was due to the immense amount of "GAH!" and "ACK!" that did her in...thanks Arron, i appreciate the fab-tab-blastic reply...and i believe i saw you in the chat room before...and continuously feinted fear when faced with "karmah" so now i know...don't piss Arron off...er...Karmah...then i'll get good things in return? right? right? You've probably heard that waaay too many times, haven't you? sorry...couldn't help myself...

Always410-mixed! yes, this is true, i sorta went Julia Child happy and threw everything into one bowl...need a Kitchen Aid now...Oh dear, now i've got the whole Kitten board backing them up? crappity...now i've gotta watch my back...hold out? who's holding out? me? psh....nah...not true...

bindingwiccan-the first time you read this fic? wow....that means you're a pretty damn fast reader i must say cause i babble alot in writing and replying and i hope you enjoyed it seeing as i try to write like i know what i'm doing and where the story is going and....*breathes* you're in love now? with who? willow or tara? i kick ass now? whoo hoo and a half! *gets super hero cape and walks about impressively with KA stamped on the shirt* now to get a fan for dramatic wind.....hmmm...well, thankyou for reading and enjoying it! it's quite fantastic of you...although i do not have any actual um updates as of now...sorry...*takes off kick ass costume ashamedly*

shuyaku-sorry....*looks like small insignificant species of some sort* Anya'd be better? you sure about that? damn...i seem to get bad bill responses alot...i'm a big tease now? psh....more or less i'm quite the twit but, eh. whatever works...

justin-ah...yes, you like that anya's gone-good.

ah crappity, you noticed the unfair and evil way of getting rid of her-bad...

darn you careful readers you....two people need to be hit over the head? i'm not one of them, am i? *hides behind large ex-pro wrestler looking guy* yeah, that angency...gees...they really do need to fix that up, don't they?

foreverpiper-*opens and closes mouth* you....you were one of the first readers to this....you were one of the first to cheer me on...and i thought that you had gone on a trip to the moon, or caught the funny syphilis....or maybe even eaten by wild boars...but you're here! *does happy-happy dance* oh, cool you're reading as we speak! that's so cool...and i must ask, where are you now? sorry, writer's curiosity....but you're saying wow, so that's good and hey! you say you love it.....that's sooo sweet to hear....er...read...but thanks! i and I'M so glad you're back!!

okay, so....all i hafta say about Bill is this:

*runs away before anyone can stop her*

Last night in sweet slumber I dreamed I did see my own precious jewel sat smiling by me.

Yeah, Agreeing with Allykat...Im sure no one really minds if Anya gets attackes....now, again with the kittens being protective with our girls....Or me anyways...Attacking another blonde may not be good. But its your choice and we will have to see what you come up with! God of Dirt (aka joss, long story dont ask) let that certain blonde get hurt physically and we did get to see some very cute moments.

ANyways...dont take this too bad or anything, LONG first day back of school is finally over so im all tired out and needing W&T goodness.

Tara: Willow, you are using too much magick. What do you want me to do, sit back and keep my mouth shut?

Willow: Well that'd be a good start.

Tara: (Shocked) If I didn''t love you so damn much I would!

i'm utterly completely sorry for not having replied, updated or anything in so long (meaning a week or so) due to the fact that i'm not really on a schedule except school these days.

and also this whole 'senior year' crisis is starting to be a little more crisis-like...so bear with me...i'm a little slow and quite possibly frozen to death as we speak. so, umm....sorry for the holdup...but i have a reason! and it's called calculus....and musicals *growls at them both* they're being difficult right now...being completely unhelpful...but at the same time fun.....odd, huh? i'll try to get something up soon but finals are to arrive any day now and lets just say that makes elizabeth go: GAARRRGGHH!!! sorry once again...

singgirl-hey, i know, i was hoping you'd return too....thanks again, i appreciate the kind words...what am i going to do with Bill? hmm that's still be debated if you can imagine it...

allykat-well, i was actually going to say another blond instead of anya....sorry, didn't know you liked buffy so much, but hey, since you're defending her, and don't want that one hurt, i'll vent my anger on tara? okay? is that better?

Alyways410-oh, so i should attack anya now? but i already did that....jaysus.....no way to please everyone! i should just stick to poor defenseless redheads as the scape goat....ah well...i'll figure something out....maybe i should stay away from hairy people all together...go after bald ones...yes....i'll go after the bald ones...who's bald though? hmmm....and by the reference of joss there....is it because he lands a whole lotta characters in the dirt? just wondering...i love long stories....hmm...you need w/t lovin'? okay...will do....only you're gonna have to wait for a lil' bit now...

Like sand in an hour glass, so are the days of our lives...

Postby thebardgirl » Sat Jan 24, 2004 4:27 am

Tempest Duer-thanks, i'm getting over it all slowly, but high school has managed to ruin the 'happy' part of life...for the moment, but in return for your patience (i'm off to read your fic now, by the way) i've got an update! yay!

Chapter 40

“Willow? Willow? Wake up, sweetie,” came the worried voice. Tara had managed to scoop the small redhead in her arms, and then lowered her to the floor. She began shaking the girl lightly, then a little stronger, and finally a ruff jarring. Tears rolled down her cheek; she had hit the emotional over-flow button a little too hard this time.

“Willow!” Came the upset cry.

Buffy stood nearby, waiting for the exasperated blond to calm down. However, that moment didn’t seem to want to make an appearance, so she decided to take control, if not for Tara’s sanity, Willow’s body.

“Hey, Tara, let her get some air, stand back for a bit,” Buffy said calmly.

Tara looked up, with a tear-red face. She glanced at Willow again, then back to Buffy. She seemed to silently ask with her eyes, like that of a little child would to her mother when seeing her dog be pulled away into that room in the vet, “Why?” Miserable, inconsequential, lonely, enraging and unanswerable Why?

Bad things just seemed attracted to her. Perhaps she was the catalyst? An innocent that called misfortune, hatred, violence and anger? No, perhaps she wasn’t the innocent; perhaps she was to blame completely. She deserved it. There had to be a reason; things don’t just happen. Without reason, humans are nothing but floating molecules of life, passing in and out of this dimension, from earth to air to water; nothing but part of the passage of nature. But if there was reason in all this madness, it could mean only one thing: she was to blame. In some small way, she had caused this. There could be no other explanation. First her mother’s death, her father’s abuse, and now she was barely able to hold onto the one thing that kept her alive, Willow. She’s too dangerous to be around Willow. She shouldn’t be around Willow.

“Hey, listen, it’s alright, she probably just fainted, in fact, I know she just fainted, I can see her breathing. So no reason to be upset, okay? Here, let me take care of her, I’ve had to deal with fainty people before; that’s the first lesson you learn in coming to work for Willow,” Buffy joked.

Tara nodded, sniffed quietly and backed away, slowly. Buffy leaned down on Willow’s right side, after grabbing a napkin and dabbing it into the un-coffeed water. She then proceeded to lightly pat the girl’s forehead. The redhead’s stomach rose and fell in a steady pattern, her eyes began to flutter awake to the light.

“Hey,” came Buffy’s voice.

“Buffy?” came the scratchy reply, “Where’s Tara?”

“She’s right here, aren’t ya…Tara? Tara?” Buffy had turned to smile happily to the blond but her presence was somewhat thinner than usual. In fact, she was gone.

“Tara?” Buffy and Willow both said in unison. Willow tried to shoot up to her feet, only then realizing that her legs were still that of jelly.

“Whoa, cowgirl, we gotta first keep you from causing another passing-out experience, then you can go rodeo. I’ll find the other one, just stay here for a bit, okay?”

“Where’d she go?” There’s that look again. Twice in less than five minutes. Buffy really had to get them to look at someone else for once.

“I don’t know, but I’m sure she’s around, I’ll just peek outside. You missy, need to drink some water and breathe slowly for awhile. Catch your breath, okay?”

Willow nodded her head, although hurt by the realization Tara wasn’t there in her time of need. Did she do something wrong? Of course, Rosenberg, you couldn’t take the pressure. Dork. Utter and complete dork.

Buffy walked out of the coffee corner room and looked down all possible routes the blond had taken. Why’d she leave? Better one: where’d she go?

The smaller blond walked around the offices, glancing every now and then behind herself, hoping to find the sneaky runaway. She found her prey a few cubicle corridors later, at a desk placed neatly in front of the President’s office.

“Tara?”

She noticed boxes, papers, files, supplies and anything desk-related being dumped by a wet-rag that once could have been called Tara.

“Hello? Tara?” The blonde didn’t respond.

“Tara?” Buffy tried once more, closer to the quickly evacuating blond.

“I c-c-c-can’t s-s-stay h-here with Willow,” the blond choked out. It had been a long time since her stutter had been that bad.

“What?” Buffy asked confused. Now what did she do wrong?

“I c-c-cause her…she'd be h-happier if…she’d be safer...I c-c-can’t stay here,” Tara said forcefully after several attempts.

“What?”

“I don’t want to endanger her anymore,” Tara said, the tears spilling down her cheek, “it seems everywhere I go I just cause problems and I don’t want W-willow to get caught in the cross-fire.”

“What are you talking about? That Bill guy? Psh, Tara, come on, I could take him!” Tara looked skeptical at that.

“Well, okay if I had superhuman strength and agility, but come on! You’re not seriously getting frightened away by a little bad luck, are you?”

Tara looked again at Buffy with a hard glance.

“Okay, a lot of bad luck, but you can’t leave Willow, she’d die if you did, which would be a lot worse than you sticking it out with her, even if you are voted the most-cursed-couple of the millennium. It doesn’t matter. How could you even think of hurting her this way?”

“I’m trying to help her!”

“Wow, great solution, leave the one who needs you the most, and make the two of you miserable, great idea, fabulous even. Tara, you’re just freaking out. That’s okay. It’s normal to feel like the weight of the world is collapsing on you after all you’ve been put through. But please, leave decision making to when you have a sane brain?”

Tara looked at Buffy for a long while, seeing the resolution written on her face like that of Balthazar’s wall.

Tara’s own resolution and tall exterior seemed to crack, and she sat down dejectedly in her chair.

“Buffy, what was I thinking?” She asked clutching her face wretchedly.

“The good of Willow mostly, with some askew ideas here and there,” Buffy put in lightly.

“I’m so tired of fighting…”

“So am I…” Buffy said, then at Tara’s look corrected, “on your behalf, of course.”

“I don’t even know why I fight this world we live in anymore…the people…the fear…the misunderstanding…”

“The love, the beauty, the truth, the art, the environment...” Buffy added in, “Tara, I know you’re frightened by this man, Bill.”

Tara looked up, her face changing back to her original red-eyed grimace.

“It’s not that, I’m worried for Willow; I left her in there, Buffy.”

“Well and what was the scariest thing about that? Bill, the enforcer, or Anya, the obnoxious by surprisingly small, bitch queen?”

“I...I don’t know…”

“Look, I think we’ve left Willow alone to freak out long enough,” Buffy said trying to get the conversation moving.

“Oh God, Buffy, I left her,” Tara said jumping up again to her feet.

“Tara, it’s okay, she’ll be fine, I told her to stay there and drink some water, it’s best probably that she have a little time to herself anyway.”

"I know, but I, I…” Tara’s words faltered once again.

“Okay, okay, let’s go get her.”

The two walked back again towards the coffee stop. Tara had managed to wipe away all stray tears, and Buffy managed to act as if nothing had happened in the past two hours.

The office crew, however, didn’t buy it.

They must think we’re idiots.

The smaller blond opened up the door to walk in, letting Tara go first.

Seriously, working for Mrs. Rosenberg has it’s perks.

Tara, however, walked out almost as soon as she went in, with a worried glance about her surroudings.

But the best part has got to be watching this drama.

Buffy tried to console the girl, make her calm down.

Like now for instance, the taller McClay one, she’s worried her lesbian lover, Willow, is leaving her for Anya.

No, no, she’s not leaving her for Anya.

Tara jerked her head about the offices. Looking furiously about each isle.

Where’d she go then?

Buffy tried once more to soothe the girl; a few words escaped her mouth before the other shook her head vehemently sprinted off in one direction.

Haven’t you been watching?

Buffy ran off in pursuit.

I went to the store to pick up tonight’s dinner; hubby’s gonna be late today in picking up the kids, again.

Oh, have you tried that new Hamburger Helper yet?

No, is it good?

It's to die for, and the kids should like it too; lot's of cheese.

Good idea, so what'd I miss?

Well, it turns out Bill Barker, the homophobe, came back to have that “talk” with Mrs. Rosenberg.

No, really?

Oh yes, he was fuming too.

You don’t say, I’ll bet she was scared stiff.

Oh you should have seen how her eyes were popping, when he pulled her—Oh shush! Here she comes!

A bewildered looking Willow Rosenberg stumbled back into the offices, bumping into the wall carelessly. She weakly grasped the side of the building, neither walking nor stopping.

Oh, oh, do you think she’s gonna faint again?

Nah, twice in one show—day, I mean? Highly unlikely.

I don’t know. She’s looking pretty off color.

Oh, quiet! Here comes the lover!

Tara strode in, skirt whipping back with each step, and ran up to Willow, who seemed more or less happy to have Tara grab and hold her up. She tenderly stroked the redhead’s temple, and in reaction the smaller girl lazily closed her eyes. They seemed to talk fervently, although hardly a word could be heard.

Do you think…?

That Bill Barker has made an offer of marriage to Willow, only to find out she’s pregnant by the very person that he’s been bad-mouthing?

No…that Willow…she got away from Bill alright?

The two seemed content to be in each other’s presence, but both decided to pull away for the instant, and walk into the closest room to talk.

Damn, commercial.

Ok I have to say your feedback had me lmao. I have to say probably my favorite thing about your fic is the funny mental images I get while reading it

She began shaking the girl lightly, then a little stronger, and finally a ruff jarring. Ok see I can totally picture this you know distraught girlfriend shaking the stuffing out of the other one:rofl Ok so I am off, but I found that humorous and you have a ton of lil lines like that, and they just make me smile so thanks.

Wow I was shocked this came from Buffy but this is the best line in this chapter for me and its good for R/L too :)

"Wow, great solution, leave the one who needs you the most, and make the two of you miserable, great idea, fabulous even. Tara, you’re just freaking out. That’s okay. It’s normal to feel like the weight of the world is collapsing on you after all you’ve been put through. But please, leave decision making to when you have a sane brain?”

and OMG I fell out laughing at the coworkers comments twice in one show thats classic. I don't know who thoses two were but I hope they are included more cause I was lmao at them.

This was a wonderful update thanks and I hope to read more soon

Arron:kitty

sending you lots of good things in the future heh

*edited to spell check cause some of you might not know enuff is enough lol*

Well, dudes, it seems my resistance to the school's cold/flu virus has wained, and so *cough cough* i am a little under the weather, (which is saying something seeing as i'm also short, and the weather down here is quite different...) So...*AHCHOO!* Bear with me here, and seeing as i was home alone yesterday, i made another addition to this lovely little story o' mine...i hope you enjoy and *COUGH* i hope i get my eyes to stop tearing...enjoy!

Washi- Hiya, um, cool! You liked it! Whoo hoo, i say, whoo hoo. And i'm glad you find any part of my writing "freakin' amazing" you rock, dude.

The Rose24- *looks aghast* Moi? Rollercoasters? Me? Nah...hmm...things have got to get better, eh? okay...sounds good to me. Hmm...the Tara-leaving-Willow trama i believe, was a snag in their relationship, therefore it is necessary to mention it here....so....it won't reoccur, if you get my drift. But please don't cry! Please?

Tempest Duer-Yay! It's an update! Happy face? Excellent! Yes, indeedy do, i'm thinking of selling tickets now. oh, yes. I had fun one night and thought, "ah hell, why not?" Oh, the Mrs. Rosenberg thingy, you have two answers to that, and have the choice to taking either one: 1). I'm a brainless person who thinks "Mrs." sounds professional--not married. Or 2). The Employees are brainless people who think "Mrs." sounds professionals--not married.

Choose your weapon!

allykat-oh cool! I get laughy-smiles!! Whoo hoo! you love buffy? Well, i'm soooooo happy that you do, because personally, i always liked that character; i wanted a nice interpretation of her in my story. I won't hurt....umm...okay, well, how about i say, "I'm not hurting Tara...now." ? is that okay? I do know a lot of blonds, actually, but their not the one i'm thinking of, are they? Redheads too? Well, just take away all the cool-haired people for all i care! Fine, i'll go after Brunettes, i'll kill myself, is that better?

justin-thanks, dude. Yeah, Buffy is of the good when it comes to talking people down. Ah yes, the infamous employees, i luv 'em. Glad you're liking it thought.

snuggle79-Yes, i am back, hopefully not in the terminator way, but i'm back. Funny girl, eh? Well, then, that means i have to live up to my title, don't it? Oh, yes, the employees are fun to write, i'll admit, i want to take 'em away with me for ever and ever....Yes, Tara's not leaving....nothing bad's happening...for now...und danke! I'm happy you're glad it's back...instead of the opposite.

sabina-yes, i'm in the backness of being back. Thanks, dude. Yeah, W/T are having a few bad moments...hmm...i should give them a break, shouldn't I? huh...worse and worse? oh dear, this isn't good, is it? All in one day too! huh...

oh, you were one of the few people against Tara's plan? Huh...well then, of couse YOU were right, weren't cha? Hee....the employees are a hoot, excellent! make things better...hmmm....hmm....good idea!

MellindraX-Hee, i'm glad you liked it and i appreciate the words...and the snerking, that was fun to read...eep, you want answers now? Can you wait, one more post? Just one? P-p-please? *does puppy-eyes*

singgirl-Erp, you too wanna know now? How 'bout we wait a lil longer? For the sake of the writer with a monstrous cold/flu? And thanks Bev, for the encouraging words...

irishlassie101-i'm wicked now? Psh...i think the wicked witch of the west would have something to say about that...Oh good, you liked it! You really, really, liked it! Yay...You're still on for Anya-bashing? I thought i covered that...ah well, if you want i can bring her back and then knock her down again, but that'd be just cruel, and also it's already been down with Buffy.

sam darls-thanks, sammie, i'm glad you liked it, with the smiley included. and yeah, i'm doing alright if not one thing, its another...like colds for instance, who knew they could threaten flu?

Karmah-dude! Arron! Hi! Oh i'm glad i made you laugh....but the laughing your ass off sounds painful....to say the least. The imagery? I give images in peoples heads? *rubs hands together* exxceelllleeennnt...Oh it's no prob, any time you like a line, bring it to my attention. Because that means i can follow down whatever path the readers like...makes it easier actually...oh and hey you caught my "tip of the day" line...cool...hee hee. The employees are a hit i tells ya! It's grand having them to mess about with in the background, i'll admit, i love 'em. Thanks, and thankyou for the wonderful feedback, it's nice to know people are really reading in depth-like...

Chapter 41

Reverent kisses overflowed onto Willow’s face. Tara sweetly kissed away all the pains that were etched across her face not long ago. A nip at her nose, a nuzzle on her cheek, and all the while saying, “I’ll protect you,” over and over again. Willow merely moaned contentedly at the loving remark.

“Honey, not that I’m not loving this whole Willow-loving session, but why so…loving?” Willow asked failing to find a better word.

“Willow, I freaked,” Tara said simply.

“You…freaked?”

“Majorly,” Tara confirmed, “I almost lost sight of what I was living for,”

Willow looked questionably at the blond, when Tara nudged her and said mockingly, “I meant you, you doofus.”

Willow smirked, and embarrassedly looked down at that admission. She didn’t know how to take it in, such an amazing compliment, and one she wanted to say to the other. Tara picked up Willow’s chin and got the girl’s eyes to contact hers.

“I don’t know if I say this enough, but I’m so happy to have you. I-I don’t think I could live without you,” Willow said before Tara could speak.

Tara stared for a moment, and guilt filtered in to her. How could she have thought to leave this girl? Even if it was to help, and keep her safe, how could she have chosen to go? Fear. Disbelief that she could bring anything better to this redhead’s life.

“Never again will I let that take control of my feelings,” Tara inwardly promised. Then with a look at Willow, “My life, my Willow. Never again.”

“Tara?” Willow asked questionably at Tara’s stern expression.

“Sorry, I just…” She faded away as Willow’s fingers came up and tapped at her temple.

“A lot going on in there?”

“A whole m-mountain full,” Tara smiled as she leaned into the touch.

Willow leaned in then and subtly kissed Tara’s mouth. Tara closed her eyes, her heartbeat raised up a notch, and the taste of Willow’s mouth on hers filled her with a new sense of relief and joy.

“Let me take down that mountain, then,” Willow asked plaintively.

“The EPA might have a few words against that,” Tara giggled.

“Let them come, I’ll take them down too if it means protecting Tara-smile,” Willow said smiling happily.

Their hands intermingled, and Tara looked down at them, realizing the immediate contact that neither had noticed had taken place.

“We need to talk about…”

“That Bill guy?” Willow finished.

Tara nodded her head.

“No need to, we, our going back to that vacation of ours,” Willow said, but with the confused look on Tara’s face she added, “that is if you want to because I would never want to make you feel like you have to just because I’m all demandy girl who is all domineering and forces beautiful women to go on vacation with her,” Willow said quickly, “because me and the dominatrix look—not good, in fact, very seldom does it appear, as in never.”

“Dominatrix, eh?” Tara smirked.

“No, no, no dominatrix here,” Willow frantically claimed with her arms held up in defense, “Because that leads into the no-no world of pain, whips, leather and all that Esmeralda stuff I have never quite understood, nor probably should for fear of eye-popping. I-I only meant to say you’re free to stay here unless you’d like to come with me on another attempt at vacationing, and quite possibly more snuggling?” Willow asked worriedly.

Tara didn’t know whether to laugh, or to…laugh.

“If you really wanted the whips, Willow, you only had to ask,” Tara dead-panned.

“What?!” Willow exclaimed

“Joke, sweetie, joke,” Tara said laughing.

“Ah, joke, gotcha,” Willow added, ”I’m all with the ha-ha’s as we speak,” only couldn’t help be a little turned on by how low and husky Tara’s voice had gotten at the moment. Tara—good. However, pain—not so good.

“But how did you get rid of Bill?”

“Oh, him?”

Tara nodded.

“I just told him that he could take his homophobic ass right out of my company, because this is an open minded and gay-friendly building,” Willow spoke off the lines like a text book.

“Really?” Tara asked.

“No,” Willow said wistfully,” However, what did happen was a lot more…interesting, I guess.”

Tara looked up inquisitively. The look in Willow’s face wasn’t one of fear, or sadness, just utter confusion, as if some odd clothing-creature decided to crawl up her sleeve and stay there for a while, then leave for Bermuda, in which it sent a postcard declaring, “Wish you and your sleeve were here.“

There was no pain, just confusion.

“What happened?”

“Can we…discuss the particulars of my day over dinner, Ms. Maclay?” Willow asked shaken out of thoughts, formerly.

“Why, yes, Ms. Rosenberg, I’d be delighted to join you,” Tara said back just a mock proud.

“What food did you have in mind?”

“Take out Chinese?”

“A woman after my own heart.”

The two walked back out of the small room. After they both picked up their coats, the two headed for the elevator. Buffy, came screeching down the hallway, and while yelling out Willow’s name helplessly, came running up to the elevator.

“Willow! Tara! I’ve been looking all over for you!”

“Yeah, I figured,” Willow said sheepishly, she pushed the elevator door button, nothing, not even best-bud Buffy, was getting in the way of the much needed Willow/Tara time.

“What’s this I hear about Bill Barker giving us a huge grant?”

“I’ll tell you to—“ The doors of the elevator had shut.

Buffy stood there, stalk still. And then screamed.

Do you think she was the one who was proposed to? Perhaps she was the one that was rejected, or her lover had left her?

I don’t know. Possibly.

Well, after that kind of scream, I know some one isn’t getting any.

*bows and then retreats to bed with pile o' napkins* you know i can't help but think of the Sidestep Chronicle where VW gets ickified by Tara's cold....only...*looks around* well, damn, needah get me a hot vampire...

Last night in sweet slumber I dreamed I did see my own precious jewel sat smiling by me.

And when I awakened I found it not so; my eyes like some fountain with tears overflowed.

Cool update, can't wait to hear what she said to Bill, and option #2.

Wow, my whole feedback condensed into one sentence!

What are you selling tickets to, anyway? My happy face, cuz I'm so cute?

Willow: Hey Buff. One more thing. Buffy: Yeah? Willow: I’m gay. Buffy: Okay, Will. Xander owes me ten bucks.

Of course, I'm with Buffy, I want to know what happened with Bill! And what's happening with Bill. And why won't he accept my marriage proposal! *sob*
