Wow, thanks for the info terra! That's really cool!
As one, they turn to the soda machine. It flies back into the door like a cannonball. Willow looks at it, at Tara. She doesn't let go of her hand.

Does anyone have an idea when Attack of the Gryphon is going to be in Sci-Fi? I do not want to miss Amber in a Xena type warrior outfit. :tara

I was just cheking the Sci-Fi Channel website to see if there was any info on the air date for Attack of the Gryphon...alas there is not, but...

Amber's movie El Intermedio will be airing on the Sci Fi Channel on Saturday October 21st at 9est/8c

Yeah! One I haven't seen yet!! I'm sure she probably dies in it since it's a thriller

And she's on Supernatural this Thursday...it's a regular Amber-fest :tara :luv

I wonder if attack of the gryphon is going to be shown here? *goes into research mode*

hmm. I've been watching Deadly Justice for the last 40 minutes (not a very pleasent experiance I must say). And I still haven't had an Amber sighting. The chick who plays his daughter looks nothing like Amber. Could imdb have made a mistake? Is Amber actually in it, or will I have to try to procure some sort of time machine so I can get those 40 minutes back?

OK. Deadly Justice is about a cop who is very unpleasent for 45 minutes, is attacked and then becomes wonderful, right? Cos although the packageing of this DVD claims to be Deadly Justice and it stars a guy who looks like the right guy, none of the actors or plot description seem to match up with the imdb description of it, or any other Jack Reed movie.

No wonder it seemed different. turns out Amazon sold me 'The Rape of Richard Beck'. A TV movie from 1985 which, unsuprisingly, did not feature Amber. However all the packageing says it's Deadly Justice and the amazon page says it has Amber. No wonder I was hella confused. I spent much of that 90 minutes trying to work out why they kept calling Jack Reed 'Beck'. It seemed like an odd choice of nickname... And it does explain the lack of muder and corruption and high volume of rape...

Well that was a disturbing hour and a half... I think I'll go and have some nightmares now.. Stupid movies about rape and their emotional scarring.. I avoid this stuff for a reason.

I have looked all over the Sci-Fi site and I still can't see anything about Attack of the Gryphon. Is it supposed to show sometime this month?

It seems they don't want us to see Amber wielding a sword but she is on Lifetime TV on Christmas day in the highly original sounding Holiday Wishes.

I found this on the Sci Fi Channel's website. It lists the movie title as "Gryphon" instead of "Attack of the Gryphon."

Gryphon (Premieres Jan. 27)
Two warring countries are united when faced with a common enemy, a mythical flying beast called the Gryphon. Amber Benson (Tara on Buffy the Vampire Slayer) stars with Sarah Douglas (Ursa in Superman II) and Jonathan LaPaglia (TV's The District) in this action-packed fantasy-adventure directed by veteran Farscape helmer Andrew Prowse.

All hail Princess Amber, coming to ring in the new year with a tale of quality entertainment for the Sci-Fi Channel.
Barring the broadcast of the second series of "Doctor Who" with the inestimable combination of David Tennant and Billie Piper, that channel can use all the class and hotness Amber brings to a project.

It was a joy to catch the repeat of AB's "Supernatural" episode last night (12/14), and it just reminded me of the truth of what I stated in my previous posts:
The producers have to bring Lenore's character back!

She and her human-friendly vampire minions would make perfect allies for the brothers, given that they are undoubtedly much older (so more knowledgeable and more experienced) and stronger.

It was positively inspiring to hear Lenore say "I'll never give up hope" [i.e. for human/vampire peaceful coexistence], even after being tortured!

Hey!

We're watching as I write and I'm beside myself. I've already been chastised once for ignoring the family to watch Amber, but it's my brother's family and I don't know any of them, so I'll defend myself that way. Amber looks great, the top billing is cool (and way overdue), and I'll pass judgement on the movie when it's over. Kinda cute so far, but I'm also recording on the DVD upstairs, so there may be videos to follow.

Let's all keep watching!

All the Amberholics' holiday wishes came true as the movie is a fantastic showcase for Amber's wide range of emotions and her innate ability to play comedy, drama, mystery, and just a hint of the supernatural as well.
There's even a BTVS reference thrown in for continuity purposes.
Producers of the world, sit up and take notice: Amber can play it all so cast her without delay.

ATTENTION NEW HAMPSHIRE KITTENS! Or perhaps all of New England...I'm not really sure...

If you have Comcast as your cable provider...

Go to the ON DEMAND portion of your listing and then to the FREE MOVIES ON DEMAND section...there you will find commercial free and free of charge...Amber's early and purportedly wonderful King of the Hill The movie she names as her favorite

I have never seen it and have been looking for it on video forever! YEAH!

Anyway, it is showing now through 6/7/07 and in that time you can watch it as many times as you want to! :pinky

swooning in Amberlicious bliss,
