What if they brought Tara back on the big screen?

Okay, I'm hoping beyond hope, but...if Tara was brought back in a W/T (and Scooby) Movie, would you go and see it?

I voted "yes, with some reservations..." but pretty much my only reservation would be that it would have to be the same cast (is that even a reservation?). If W/T were played by anyone other than A/A than I doubt that I could bring myself to see it, that would just be wrong. Of course the way they bring Tara back and if her and Willow have the same relationship & if it is still as special and beautiful is important but I think overall if W/T are played by A/A, then I'll go and see it!

when i first saw the poll subject, it was most definitely yes for me, but reading lollipopgirl's post, i have to agree with her... i never even thought about it actually... i immediately assumed that the characters will be played by none other than aly and amber... and of course the plot for bringing her back shouldn't be cheesy... maybe they could even read some fanfics to get ideas about how to go about it coz i've read lots of good ones here ... but i would definitely check the movie out just out of curiosity... oh, there better be or it just wouldn't be the same... and magic of course!!!

Lollipopgirl - you are right. I hadn't considered the possiblity that there might be other actors cast in a movie. Of course, NO ONE could possibily play Willow and Tara except Alyson and Amber.

Tarebear - Considering some of the writing that has come out of hollywood recently, I would say that the producers of said movie would be doing themselves (and us) a favor by checking out the fanfiction here. From what I've seen, there's been more heart and soul, emotion, depth, caring and devotion to the source material here than in anything they could come up with.

I'd want to see plenty of . I really hope there's a chance this happens.....

I'm in that alternate place that says the girls are already together and happy after the end of S5. What do we need a movie for? Now would I watch another A/A movie? Sure!

I voted 'yes... with some reservations' there are a lot of reasons why I would have reservations. The main one being that is a buttface and would come up with lame arse reasons why it needs to be all dramatic and upsetting!

Voted 'no.' I knew that once s7 was over, and I was free, that was it for me and the Buffyverse according to Joss and Co. They destroyed too much of the show, of the characters, for me to go back. Fruit of the poisonous tree, yo.

I put yes with some reservations - I'd see it if it was set before her death - but not after - I thought the Buffy was slightly ruined by the time it ended.

Yes, I would go see it, but with reservations. I would read up on how it was done, make sure it wasn't some sort of ruse. Also, it would have to be done well, otherwise, at least in my mind, the series ended at The Gift, and the few happy moments after were a dream.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say I COULD see a Willow & Tara movie without Alyson or Amber in it. For example, if fans ever made a video, I could get into that. Something that was done with a lotta love and true to the spirit of Willow & Tara. If it were some Hollywood thing with different actresses, or if only 1 actress came back (Amber as Tara and someone else as Willow or vice versa), then no. Absolutely no.

If it were announced tomorrow that they were making a Buffy movie and all the original cast were returning - including Amber ... I'd be there opening night.

I would most defiantly see it if they had Tara back, heck, I'd even see it even if Tara wasn't there because... well... this is Buffy we're talking about! The only reason why I wouldn't see it if it didn't have the original actors even if they had someone amazingly hot as Olivia Wilde taking any of the main cast's spot. Their faces are just as much their character as the words written for them.

I'd love to see Willow and Tara reunited in a movie. Amber herself has said more than once that she'd LOVE to play Tara again and a new story would be really cool.

I would love such a movie, but its not going to happen. The writers would have a lot of stuff to fix from the last two seasons. If the movie was made, it wouldn't have the magic and genius of the first seasons.
