Change my phone number, buy a new car or two, buy a house in San Francisco, make sure the family/friends are set up nicely, donate to a few choice charities. Once that's done, I'd hold a huge week long KittenCon somewhere tropical and pay for everyone's travelling/trip expenses.

What is your favourite piece of classical music?

Not so much classical but I find Yanni to be very relaxing. It's my "stuck in traffic" music.

What was the first thing you noticed about your partner?

Her laugh. I heard it before I even saw her and it was kind of mesmerizing and contagious. I found myself laughing even though I had no idea what she was laughing about. I spend a lot of time trying to make her laugh. I'm hoping that I will be able to continue to do so.


If you had to lose one of your senses, which one would it be?

My hearing... I would rather be able feel, smell, see and taste.

If you won a holiday for two people, who would you take with you other than your partner?

My best friend, Clare - she's naughty, just enough of a bad influence on me for me to lose my inhibitions and great for those late night spill-your-secrets chats.



Do you like being barefoot?

Only if there's green grass to walk on.

Not in a conventional sense. I'm a practising witch and pagan so I worship the God and Goddess.



Have you ever had a paranormal encounter?

Oh yes, but it's a long, scary story, and quite frankly, unbelievable to anyone who didn't experience it.

What would be considered the ultimate romantic gesture someone could do for you?

Have you ever felt as if the person you don't know, who's standing next to you, is (possibly) your soul mate after about five minutes?

I've felt a very strong connection, yes, bu I ascribe to the belief that we can have more than one soulmate anyway.

Yes, but in my defence, it was a triple chocolate fudge cake covered in chocolate sauce.

If I'm home, kiss my wife good morning. If I'm at work, it depends...probably call her and then...pee?

Do you read a daily newspaper and if so, which one?

I read the local Daily Bulletin 7 days a week. It's good to know what's going on in your own city these days.


How much TV do you watch?

Hardly any. Less than an hour a week.

Wash the dishes.... bleh!

Do you prefer movies or tv?

I prefere TV because I don't have to sit for quite as long.



What is your favourite thing to do to relax?

Most recently - reading (thank you kitten board )

But consistantly - making art and working in my garden.

Do you have a best friend? If so, tell us something you love about him/her.

I like to draw, or put together a puzzle...those two activities are very relaxing.

ETA: I'm pretty slow on the draw today.

My wife's my very best friend, but outside her. I'd have to say my friends here on the board would take the rank as best.

Do you have any regrets in your life?

Yes. Several. The one that comes to mind: not taking the job I was offered in 1997. It took a job that paid (a lot) more and have been regretting it since.

What was your best day?

I have many regrets but my main regret is that I don't have the courage to do the things I want to do without being coaxed by someone else.

My best day so far has been the day I became a mother the first time.

Best Day: The day I had the courage to come out to my mum and she was totally accepting.

Lives abroad: I studied in Finland for four months and spend nearly a year in Australia.

Yup. I lived in Kazakhstan for a year.

I don't wear perfume - but I like the smell of lavender oil.

What is something interesting/unique/surprising about youself?

i adore jazz-oldies (~1960s). its my genre to play when i'm happy.

I guess just the store brand of milk. 1%. (I don't like skim very much - tasteless.)

If you could live a day as a member of the opposite sex, what would you do?

Like most of these threads on the Kitten that involve questions & answers (or un-answers ) or taking turns, might I suggest that we let at least two other people post before we do? Just a sugggestion. Allows us slower folks have a chance to participate.


Anyway, strangely enough, I'd want to wear a tuxedo and smoke cigars. Even though I can do that as a girl, it doesn't seem to have the same effect.

Have you started thinking about retirement and what are your plans?

I think about retirement all the time and I'll be one of those unlucky folks that will probably have to work till the day I die.
