Yesterday I ate these fruits and vegetables: 1 kiwi, 1/2 apple, 1/2 banana, 1/2 tub of blueberries, 3 grapes, 1 slice of cantaloupe, five baby carrots, and 1 small bowl of lettuce. I think that was enough, according to the new FDA food pyramid. Probably should have eaten more veg and less fruit.

I have a mustard stain on my shirt that I didn’t have this morning when I put it on. I haven’t eaten any mustard today…this leads me to believe that this particular mustard stain is a mystical-type stain that may contain some sort of valuable information…like, the answers to every question in the universe. So the questions become; who put it there, and why? And how do I find out which numbers to play this week on the lottery?

as i've mentioned here once, or a thousand times, i'm in my final semester of law school. i've now had about 73 credit hours of class, have been on the dean's list, headed up organizations, gotten a job, and done a good many lawyerly things.

BUT anytime a professor says to someone in class, "in your analysis..." i snicker uncontrollably and say "urinalysis." every. single. time. for over two and a half years! i wonder if shock therapy would work. and i pray that it does before those words are used in open court and i'm held in contempt.

He was cute for a guy, I guess. I didn't really see the attraction, but was it him that smelt? How do people that smell not know that they smell?

I'm sitting here wondering which is worse...the unidentifiable sour milk-like bad smell in the living room which could be coming from the dog, the humidifier or some other unlocatable source...or the smell of farts my Dad left here in the office...I am sitting here wondering if I should go back to the living room where at least I had a free hand to hold my shirt over my nose...or just go to the bathroom across the hall and get the air freshener...it smells like oranges!

Also, why do cats get to have catnip, but dogs don't get any drugs at all?

I realize this isn't the questions and un-answers thread, umgaynow, but the answer to your question is that dogs get high just on seeing their humans. You can tell just by how happy and excited they get, and also by how foolish they act around them. But anyway, that's not why I'm posting.

I just wanted to say that my mom is about the most random person you can meet, and I love her to death. She's the greatest mom in the world, and she's so hilarious. Half the time she thinks she's living in a musical. This used to drive me nuts when I was a kid, because I'd just ask her a simple question and get this long made-up song as an answer, which only made sense half the time. But anyway, last March she came down to Texas to visit me. We were staying in a hotel in Louisiana, and she went out to get some ice in her bunny slippers. A couple of middle-aged ladies saw her and gave her strange looks. She just looked them straight in the eyes in a child-like way and proudly proclaimed, "I'm the Easter Bunny."

This article about The Cuddle Puddle of Stuyvesant High School has given me more hope for the future of gay and lesbian rights than anything I have read or heard in a long, long time.

My random thought upon reading about the consumption of all these fruits n' veggies in a single day:

How many times did SallyMcFine go to the bathroom on the day in question??? That's enough fiber to really "get the juices flowing".

My thoughts on that is maybe there should be a TMI thread.

Indeed random - so random that I couldn't find it in the dictionary. Was that deliberate, or am I dim?

I hate taking that paper-top doohicky thingy off the ketchup bottle before I can use it.

in addition, I hate having to go back to the fridge so that I can look up the correct spelling of ketchup just so I can complain about it in the first place.

Why do all non-profit radio station DJs talk in the same mono-tone voice? like they can't even muster enough energy to fluctuate their voice even the slightest bit? WHY? I don't get it.
