hey there kittens,

i'm playing guitar in a dutch band called backslash dubble dash
now, we are planning to make our "own" songs, problem is that we wanna make a love song. But all of oure self made up lyrics are way to cliche.
So whe where wondering... if you all out there could make some lyrics, then we'll pick the top 3 *mabey top 5 (depends on the time whe have) * and make it a record. Ofcourse the "winner" gets credit.

but remember; where a small band and the most bandmembers are just beginners. so the chance that the song will go all over the world, is verry verry verry *i add verry* small but hey, the "winner" will get it on mp3 ore wave ore something and will be anouncd on this poll.

Okay, just wondering, what kind of band? And what kind of love song? What instruments are you all playing, and is the lead singer a guy or a girl?

I could try my hand at it, if I had a bit of that info at hand ^^ I always wanted to write a song and actually put music on it and all, but I dont have a band, or other people who can play instruments that go together close to me or anything, and well, I write nice lyrics, thats about all lol.

it's a pop/rock band, 'bout 2 years now. there are 5 people in the band, drummer/vocals, bass, guitar/vocals, leadguitar, and where trying this thing now with a trompist so that makes 5. the singer is a girl. and doesn't matter what kind of a love song, write what touches people, that's what we do most of the time. you know, where people can relate to.
