Poor Tara, not bad enough that she was worried about Willow, but she had to put up with Sheila too. Lovely though how she kept talking about Willow to help calm herself down.

Brianna's resolve face was adorable, as was her statement that Willow wouldn't "break" Tara. She's already reading auras; she must have inherited that from Tara.

Bri, the poor little mite, must have been terrified when Sheila was trying to take her away. I agree with what Candice said. The way Sheila treats Tara is indicative of how horrible she is.

Lisa just wanted to say that I've finally managed to catch up on this fic and as always it's excellent! I loved your foul-mouthed Willow and am not liking her Mom. So scary when families good screwy like that!

Can't wait for more! As always you are the greatest! :grin

So glad to see Willow is okay (not that I thought she wouldn't be, but you know, the suspense and all). Now I really need to see Tara get a chance to be with Willow. Hope that's coming up next.

And Sheila - what a little $@#&*! Thank goodness Brianna has such great protection, although it's a shame she needed it against her grandmother. I think Ira is coming around and learning a lot, so hopefully he'll be an ally in future battles.

And Megan's got a temper, too. Sounds like both the girls inherited Willow's feistiness. Should be fun! Thanks!

Lisa! What an update! Sheila is so scared isn't she? What an awful time to pull this crap? Willow is in harm's way, the birth of the baby should be a wonderful time for the family. Ugh Sheila!

Way to go Brianna, Ceri and Brigh! What a scene that was!

I wonder what Sheila's reaction will be when she finds out that Tara really is biological mother to the girls? Ira will probably fill her in on what he overheard. He has to be wondering now.

I checked the "jaws" site and T's Death is closer than ever to the top category - with only 153 separating the two. Good efforts are adding up. Looking forward to the next chapter Lisa!

I read a long time ago the most dangerous place in the world is between a mother and her child (and for the record between this father and his child). This is something Shelia should know, that is if she was half the mother that Tara is.

I am sure that Shelia loves Willow, Brianna and Megan, but that is not enough. It looks like Ira might be slowly getting a clue.

It is going to be interesting to see what happens when Shelia discovers that Ceri, Brigh and the rest of the Imbolc gaurd had pledged to give thier lives for Brianna years before she was even born.

Less cliffhangery, but still we have the *last* to still worry about. How is Willow! She has not even seen her baby yet.

Great stuff Lisa.

Everyone remember to send those emails, letters, faxes and votes in! We can have an affect, but only if we all help.

Lisa that was brilliant there were so many things to enjoy about this chapter. Tara talking about Willow and letting out some of her anger, Brianna saying about people's aura's and then the whole showdown that is far from over. I have a feeling Ira won't be happy either that Sheila acted without talking to him either oh and of course the Ceri and Brigh parts they are cool. This is edge of the seat reading and wonderful, I'm looking forward to the next part.

Unexpected Consequences and Milestones

Postby Bicola » Mon Sep 09, 2002 9:56 am

I've never posted to say what an inspirational writer you are. I love your work and is inspires to write my own fanfic which is a big thing since I'm such a shy dork.

I love the personal little things in the latest update, where Tara is confronting Shelia about her not so great parenting skills, she talks about how she wasn't there when Willow started her period and she went to her neighbour for help. It really showed how well Tara knows Willow and what a tight relationship they have with each other. *sigh*

I dont usually say stuff that sophisticatedly(and i know thats not a word) I usually write crap but I'm in a grown up'y writing mood after write an official complaint to all those people you suggested :)

Anyway, just saying how much i adore your writing and also I'm planning to attack Shelia with spoons!!Mmmmwwwahahahaha! (See now thats the kinda stuff i usually write :lol )

Woo and Hoo on the Update!

Postby LostSoul » Mon Sep 09, 2002 10:03 am

Hey Lisa,

Thank you so much for that. I was starting to get withdrawal. LOL.

Well, it looks like Ira is at least on the verge of figuring some things out. Although, the only thing it will probably do is make him more accepting when Willow and Tara tell them about how Bri and Megan were really conceived.

Sheila - ARRGGHHH! You write her very well. I dislike her immensely.

It's going to be tough for Tara to deal with everything while Willow is recovering. You have to feel for her with all she is and will be dealing with.

I'm guessing that the kid gloves are coming off in defense of her family.

GO TARA! Protect what is yours.

Thanks again,

I can't help but feel a bit >just a bit sorry< for sheila. First for her state of deep denial, second for her ignorance, third for not knowing what 'family' is and fourth cause 'Mama bear' Tara is going to kick her ass!

Postby Grimaldi » Mon Sep 09, 2002 11:45 am

loved the update :) Tara telling Ira bits and pieces of Willow's life was sweet, maybe it'll show Ira how much Tara loves Willow and spur him on to stand up to Shelia for a change. Boy did Shelia make a huge mistake in trying to take Brianna, loved Brigh's response to Sheila saying that she is not a babysitter.

nika, I wish I could feel sorry for Sheila but she's got it coming: she tried to burn her own daughter at the stake! :rage

:evil :mad Plus, she was never there for Willow. Now she's older and maybe retired, she wants to make up for it with Brianna! She'll have to go through mother bear :tara first and it won't be pretty! :punch

Lisa, great great stuff as usual... I've always loved your writing and the way you treat our girls. I discovered your site last year and I was so happy to stumble upon Unexpected Consequences part 1 (while it was still ongoing) here, so I didn't have to wait for you to post it on your site!!

A few of my friends and I are actually thinking about forming a fanclub. Your fics most definitely occupy our time and conversations over lunch! They're all mightily :thud worthy!

You're the best :party :peace :love :clap

Yikes! I DO NOT like Sheila. Poor Wills, having to grow up with a mother like that. Poor Tara, as well, having to deal with her. I think that in a way, Sheila should know everything. If she can't deal, fine, but she should know that Tara and Willow are biological mothers to both of their children.

Am very worried about Willow, but I trust you. Tara's gonna see a completely healthy Will in the next update, right?

Lisa, your story is so great, just like all your other stories I have read - and I have read most of them!

But I have a question, and sorry if this has been asked before: Since Tara was the one who gave birth to Brianna, and Sheila knows that (she says so in one of the first chapters, I think), how can she consider Tara to be a "legal stranger"? In that case, Willow would be the legal stranger when it comes to Brianna, and Tara when it comes to Megan.

Just wondering....

Anyway, have a great day, and I can´t wait for the next update!

My God!!! I HIGHLY DISLIKE Sheila!!! :rage I hate her calling Tara a stranger all the time!! I Loved the Big speech Tara gave Sheila! I really don't think Sheila gives a damn, tho cos she kept on w/ the plan and tried to take Brianna! Which I absolutely HATED!! :evil

I'm so glad W/T taught Brianna well, Loved it when she said "Ceridwen defend"!! Then Ceri took matters into her own hands! Very smart girl! :)

I am soo waiting patiently for the actual Willow and Tara contact! I'm really glad she didn't have to get a hysterectomy!

Ira is actually OK in my opinion! He's actually learning more bout his daughter from Tara!! But dammit he has got to control that wife of his! Tie her up, throw her in the basment, and throw away the key... well he's gotta do somethin w/ her! I think she deserves more than that tho!

Well I soo can't wait 4 more!! Soon I hope! :pray

Lisa of Nine: Great update, THANK YOU for Willow being OK, I was a little worried there for a minute, but not too much. I absolutely HATE that Sheila tried to take Brianna away, and I HATE Sheila too what the hell is her problem, I'm dying for Willow and Tara to finally tell Sheila and Ira the truth, so they can just be left alone, I could just imagine the look on her face when they tell her, LOL. Very cool that Brianna knew to call for defence, and the way that Ceri and Brigh came to help her. Also very cool the way Tara was telling Ira about Willow's hands, you can just sence the love that they have for each other, just great. I can't wait to read more.

Once again you've given us a cracking update!

I think I spent about three solid days reading unexpected consequences a month or so ago, I was so happy to see you were writing a sequel. This story is proving to be just as amazing.

Do you write professionally? Just wondered as it reads really well and your characterisation is excellent. We all know there are some BAD fics about but I think you're fantastic! Oops, I'll stop gushing now and wait patiently for your next chapter,

Postby dekalog » Mon Sep 09, 2002 4:55 pm

Thank you so much Lisa for another wonderful chapter.

I didn't think it was possible for me to have my warm fuzzies for Tara grow anymore than they are, but (sigh) how she cares for her children. I loved the part where Brianna was into the garbage,so Tara went to work out her frustration so that she was centred when dealing with the situation. If only all parents were like that.

Not a complaint, but will Willow be in the next chapter (picture puppy dog eyes). You know with Tara (wicked grin).

Thanks again.

Lisa, I don't know what else to say other than, this is just fantastic. Sheila is gonna get her just rewards, right? Right?

BTW, does someone here know who portrayed Sheila Rosenberg on the show? I wasn't a fan of the show before Tara was introduced, so I have no idea but I kinda like to visualise what I'm reading, so a face would help. Anyone?

Postby Imperfectly Me » Mon Sep 09, 2002 10:08 pm

Ugh. Shiela...is a serious worthless bitch. She needs to have her ass dealt a serious reality check. The child of her child should be respected and loved, not emotionally tugged about like a piece of jerkey. And she also needs to learn some respect for the woman her daughter loves. Ugh!

But a definite woo and hoo for the scenes with Tara and Megan. Diana and Brent fighting over who gets to hold the baby is so cute. And OMG *huge sigh of relief* I am so glad Willow is ok. Excellent update Lisa.

Please much with the more soon?

Lis, excellent update! Someone sooooo needs to set Shiela straight on how it really is, 'cus she's really getting me cranky. And then they need to do a DNA test, so when Shiela doesn't believe everything about the magic, she gets knocked on her ass again. It's such a shame that she's so damn pigheaded and such a bitch, cus she just wants what SHE thinks is best for her grandchildren. Tara, Willow, Brianna, and Megan don't need a psychopathic, kidnapping scary woman in their lives. And OMG, if she talks about Willow "marrying Tara's cousin" or "what about the babies' father" one more time....grrr...But it'll get better, right? Love the guardians oohing over Megan. That was adorable. Good to hear Wills is ok....that is until she finds out what's going on.

OK, I'm ready to slap the crap out of Sheila Rosenberg. I really detest this woman.

On the good side, GO TARA! Maybe she can be the one to slap Mrs. Rosenberg???????

BWAH HA HA HA HA! AHAHAHAHAHAHA! MUAH HA HAH HA HA HA HA!!!!!

I am laughing my ASS OFF that Sheila got an ass kicking (albeit a mini-one) from Ceri, Brigh and the guardians. AH HA HA HA HA HA HA!

Lisa, seriously, this chapter kicked fanfic ass. It was exciting, it was tender, the whole smackdown scene read like a movie scene...I could visualize the whole thing play by play. It was awesome. I CAN'T WAIT to see the continuation of the smackdown when Tara and Will find out!!!!

I also loved the interaction between Tara and Shelia when Tara called Sheila out on her bad parentage of Willow. Bitch. Ahem. Anyway, you are really doing a nice job showing the differences between Ira and Sheila, like how Ira reacted to Tara's stories about Willow vs. how Shiela did. It is really bringing in to focus who each one of them is, without having you be blantant and obvious. It's all about showing and not telling, as my creative writing teacher used to say, and you're doing splendidly.

Now, more ass kicking please?!?!!?

heh heh. Just think of me as the big wimp who stands behind the guardians going "NOW WHAT" once they have already subdued Shelia. I might even spit my gum in her hair. Heh heh. Smug? Yes. Satisfied? Yes. Hungry for more? YES!!!!!

Chapter 7

Postby Willowfan » Tue Sep 10, 2002 1:15 am

Holy hot dogs and hamburgers!

Some people just don't know when to quit! And I have a feeling Shiela had better stop all this nonsense and just learn to do what should just come naturally! Love Bri, Megan, Willow and Tara...

I think it's high tim e SOMEONE (Willow and Tara) sat the Rosenbergs down and had a LONG talk with them about what is going on. The truth...and I'd like to see her try to burn them at the stake this time!

Anyway...just...wow...just keep doing what you are doing Lisa....you are amazing, as always:)

Great chapter Lisa.

Loved how Brianna used her training and didn't panic...

Hello to all Lisa fans!!! If there has been a delay in her posting...blame it on me. I had Lisa's undivided attention for several hours when she would have been writing an update....bad for you, good for me. :)
