I’m just here with a round of thanks. You all are the absolute greatest.Lesbadar
Hey there. Being first is good
being The First
Thanks.hush30
Hey Nan. Was Dani going to leave? I try to listen to the characters – to what they tell me - and well, in my head as I began to write, it really wasn’t clear at first if she would or wouldn’t. But she had the snark-fest on Saturday night, and Jo is kinda wonderful, so it all worked out. Thanks very much.

Hey. Thanks for the great comments.

Hey Christine. I am very pleased you’re not kicking my butt (je ne te botterai pas les fesses). That quote you liked (“Only three. Oh,well.”), it owes a half to me and half to Darcy.
I’m glad you enjoyed this update. Thanks, sweetie. elessar007
Hey there. It doesn’t happen all the time with me, but sometimes a thought will come to me and I’ll write it down, and it just resonates within me. The phrase that you quoted
was one such thought. Sarah hurt Dani physically – she has scars from it – but she also hurt her emotionally and psychologically (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). She’s still recovering from that, but those physical scars compound the emotional and psychological pain. They’re scars but they’re also reminders, little hooks in Dani’s soul, that proclaim to all what Sarah did to her - and don’t forget this – and what she gave Sarah the initial opening to do. Scary. Thanks.Quote:

Hey there. Heee! Reading at work will get you into all kinds of trouble; reading this at work
well, you’re braver than me. Thanks for reading. barnabasvamp
Hey BV. Having doubts about Dani, having doubts about Jo and the guys – it’s only logical. New characters on BTVS end up 1) dead or 2) evil. Now I’ve tossed a fox into the hen house, haven’t I?
Just remember this is Pens. As for vicarious enjoyment, I’m all for it and I do believe in fair play. Thanks again. peggy of sunnydale
Hey there. I’m glad you’re enjoying the Jo/Dani relationship. They’re fun to play with and work very well as a mirror for Willow and Tara’s relationship. I couldn’t resist having Willow and Tara listen in. It’s a thing. Thanks.
Puff
Hey there. The thing about Willow and Tara is that they are “real” in our heads. So much of that is due to the acting skills of Aly and Amber. The actresses “connected” and that made Willow and Tara more than just a standard BTVS couple. It’s that word “chemistry”. Aly and Amber took Willow and Tara past the surface, they integrated the little things couples do into their behaviors and interactions. What I’m trying to say is that Willow and Tara “touch”. They’re not the only BTVS couple to do so, but they’re the only ones to make it intimate. What do you do when you love someone and you’ve finished making love? Well, you don’t roll over and snore! You touch. It was only natural to incorporate that into Tara’s character here. She touches Willow’s tummy – because that is what a real lover would do. It’s what Amber did to Aly’s arm in S6’s Seeing Red. They made it real. Thanks again.

Hey Steph. Now who could have warned you … hmmm? Glad you liked it and just a fair warning, you’ll want the gf around for after the next update too…. Thanks.
Insanity
Hey there. Yeah, Jo’s the girl. Thanks for the great comments.

Hi there. I’m glad that you had taken adequate precautions. Thanks.

Hey Michelle. Wow, new posters keep emerging! I should be sorry that I kept you from eating lunch, but I’m not.
Thanks so very much for reading. Imperfectly Me
Hey Aimee. Girls and horses – it’s a thing for so many of us. I had a lovely (well, she was to me anyway) pony (1970-2002). We hung out a lot together when I was a teen. I rode bareback, usually with just a halter, and never had any real lessons. But I read about horsies all the time and always wanted to ride English and over fences. It never happened. But as I was writing, I realized what Jo was doing was very akin to what I had read ... so the fic got Jo “posting”. Thanks.
singgirl
Hey Bev. Thank you as always for your enthusiasm and great comments.

Hey there. Heee. Never fear, there is an abundance of Willow and Tara in the next update. Thanks.
TemperedCynic
Hey TC. Your comment about Dani’s brittleness is very astute. She thinks that she’s strong, and to outward appearances she is, but it doesn’t take much for her to crack. Jo is stronger here, but she hasn’t really been tested. Thanks.

Hey there. I’m glad you enjoyed. Thanks for reading.

Hey. Soooo many frustrated Kitties. What have I done?
Oh, right …. Thanks.LeatherQueen
Hey LQ. Dani did get Jo, didn’t she? Yes, yes, yes, yummy indeed. Thanks again.

Hey TK.
Now that could be an interesting competition…. Thanks for reading.Quote:

Hey wonderful!
WTWTA has all sorts of emotions of its own wrapped up in the touching scene on the stairs, Tara’s disappearance, Willow’s concern, and Tara’s take charge side emerging during the spell. But there are several days between Superstar and WTWTA. Lot of time for lots of things
Thanks. cassiopeia191
Hey. You’re absolutely correct. Jo and Dani don’t quite know what they have: a friendship or a relationship. I think they'll figure it out. Thank you
SilverWingedNemesis
Hey Nickole. I’m glad you like it, thanks.
weathergrrl
Hey. I’ll happily accept your forgivenss. Y’know, other Kittens have commented that this fic is educational and made me worry that I’d given someone ideas. You’re the first to actually mean educational in a non-sex way. Heee. I’ve grown quite fond of Jo myself, but she is a dork. Must mean I like dorks – which is ok. Thanks for reading.

Hey sweetie. Now I know it’s winter, but rather than melting, why not turn on the AC? I mean you’re in TX, right? BTW it’s great that you liked it. Darcy and I wondered who would mention the “horsie” reference. I’m glad you liked enough to make it your sig. As for what happens to Sarah, well, that’s a long way away. Thanks again.
i dig redheads
Hey. So the fic gave you a bit of a puddle? Thanks for reading and the great comments.
darkmagicwillow
Hey DMW. Yes, Jo and Dani have entirely different concerns about physical love. Dani’s is obvious; she worries that she is no longer attractive. Jo’s is more internal – she’s new at this and has performance anxiety. Thanks sweetie.
Nix42
Hey Nikki. I’m relieved that you didn’t try to read “Edge” at work. That would have been beyond difficult. Anya is a hard character to get a grip on on; she’ll have some more stuff in the near future. I like some of the S5 eps, and yes, even a few from S6, but, overall, I like S4 the best. Wasn’t it freaky when “Superstar” came on the TVs in that food court in Vegas? It was like a sign. BTW it was great to meet you and thanks for reading.

The Pineapple Head
Hey Diana. I think with this update I was finally able to put the scene/update of Tara in the closet behind me – writing that scene just took an incredible amount of energy out of me. It was hard to move forward mentally afterwards. Thanks for the great comments.

I brought marshmallows!
Let's just say she got a wee bit snarky and leave it at that.)
And how lucky I am to live in a town with a delightful open-air fruit and veggie market! I've a new appreciation for the healthy foods...indeedy.
