AN: Boston State University College is a made up place. Call me dumb, I thought it fit well in with Willow babble-yish stuff.

They sat on the porch of the Summers’ house as they talked about previous adventures and memories.
“And remember the time you got kidnapped by Faith?” Buffy yelled, trying to finish her sentence before she again, burst into laughter.
“And then, the time where you fell for a robot, that you met on the computer?” Xander gasped for air, and yelled over his own laugh.
“And remember the time I told Buffy I had a crush on her?” Willow laughed and choked for air. She laughed loud, and became rather ecstatic. After a few seconds, she realized that the others’ laughter had died down.
“What?” Buffy said, calming her laugh and the last few giggles subside.
“You know. You do know don’t you?” Willow said, as Buffy stared blankly at her.
“Oh god.” Willow said as she stood and tried to make it down the porch steps.
“Will, wait.” Willow stopped dead in her tracks. She turned. “You had a crush on me? Like in a ‘crush’ way?”
“Um... yeah.” She said, her gaze shifting to the ground.
“When? Where? How?” Buffy said, still a little taken aback. But neither of the girls noticed the glazed over look on Xander’s face. His gaze shifting from Buffy to Willow. He let out a sigh and playfully smiled at the thought.
“Buffy can we just talk about this later?”
“Later? Later when? You leave tomorrow?”
“You remember that? Here I was, hoping you’d forget?”
“How could I forget? My best friend is leaving for Massachusetts tomorrow!”
“So, we’re still best friends?”
“Come on! How dumb of a question is that? Will, when I first got here, you befriended me. No questions asked. Nothing at all. Then you started asking questions... but I didn’t care. Cuz I already loved you. I love you, Will. We’ll always be best friends.”
“Thanks, Buffy.”
“I love you.” They smiled and Buffy pulled Willow in for a huge hug. Buffy pulled back slightly and said, “So, this crush.” Willow let out a big sigh and held on to Buffy a little bit tighter.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
After a little while of hugging Willow took Buffy back up the porch steps and they started talking. Willow let out all of her fears and secrets about her sexuality. Buffy who was still in slight shock, listened intently.
“So was this before or after Angel?”
“During, I guess. I didn’t have a boyfriend all through high school, Buffy.”
“But there was potential, remember that Oz guy? We blind dated you with him?”
“Yeah, but I never really liked him, we only went out twice. Then last year you and Xander had you ‘clothes fluke’,” Willow air quoted, “Then you and Angel broke up, Xander and Cordy broke up, and I was just Willow.”
“Come on, you know you’re a lot more than just Willow.”
“Thanks Buff.”
“So anymore stories? Things you think we should know?” Xander asked.
“No, no, just that one. Oh, two weeks ago, I had sex with Cordy.”
“Oh okay.” Buffy said, not thinking. Then, “ Wait?! What?!”
“I knew she was always into girls! Always sleeping at their houses and changing in the same room...” Xander went off pointing fingers everywhere, literally. And whispering the final words, his eye again glossed over.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa. Guys I was kidding!” Willow looked from Buffy to Xander, her eyes wide.
“I knew that!” Xander said quietly.
“Yeah, yeah, me too!” Buffy stated, nodding her head vigorously. “I guess that makes up for the time thatisleptwithfaith.” Buffy murmured.
“What was that last one?” Xander asked.
“I slept with Faith.”
“What?” Willow yelled. Upset and a little confused.
“It was a mistake; she was coy and tactless, sexy and seductive. And I was just antsy. But, it was nothing more than sex, to either of us.”
“I cant. Um. Willow and Buffy.” Xander said pretty much to himself.
“Jeez, Buffy. Way to steal my thunder.” Willow said mockingly.
“Sorry. We were all in share mode!” Those two laughed as Xander stared and idly at the two girls.
“I think we broke Xander.” Willow said.
“Most likely. Its probably just his hormones we messed with.”
“Yep, hormones, cant stand those blasted creatures!” Xander yelled, resuming into the conversation.
“Well, I should get going, early flight and all.” Willow said quietly, as though she didn’t want it to be true.
“Yeah. So does this mean that this is goodbye?”
“No! No way Buffy. Do you really think that I’m gunna be able to stand to be away from Sunnydale for too long? No, this is ‘I’ll see you at Homecoming’. Cuz that’s when I come home, hence the name.” Willow laughed.
“Will you call me when you get settled?”
“Of course, Buff! I wouldn’t just leave you hanging!”
“You couldn’t have just left me hanging?”
“Okay.” Buffy smiled and stood up next to Willow. She wrapped her arms around the redhead, and she really didn’t want to let go. She also knew she had to let go.
“Okay Buffy. I have to go.... and breathe.”
“Oh. Oh yeah.” Buffy said, pulling back.
“Come’re Xander.” Willow said, hugging her best friend.
After hugs, goodbyes and ‘talk to you soons’, and the random ‘I love you’s, Willow finally retreated to her own home.
*~*~**~*~**~*~**~*~**~*~*~**~
Willow had set her alarm for 5:00. She came home from Buffy’s at one o’clock, so she didn’t think that sleeping on the plane would be too difficult. The redhead dressed comfortably but still quite beautifully. I wonder what Buffy’s doing. Sleeping. I wonder what Buffy’s wearing...Who am I kidding. No I don’t. I don’t think about Buffy like that anymore. Willow smiled at her latest realization. She wondered if she’d meet a girl at school. In hopes of distracting herself, from... herself, She went downstairs to meet her parents for a quick breakfast.
“Morning.” she said to her father.
“Good morning sweetie.” Her father said. “Ready for the big change?”
“Yeah. I think I am. Just don’t change my room into another office okay?”
“I’ll wait a few months for permission.” Her father joked.
Willow’s mother came downstairs and the room suddenly got cold.
“Hey hunnie. Have you eaten?” her mom asked.
With a head nod and a point to the dishes in the sink from Willow, Mrs. Rosenburg thought it time to leave.
The three of them ate their breakfast and got into Mrs. Rosenburgs’s ‘Saturn’, with Willow’s suitcases in the trunk and the backseat on her lap.
“We’re here.” Willow’s father said as they pulled up to the Los Angeles airport about an hour later. “Do you want us to come in?”
“Please. I’ve never gone on a plane by myself before. I don’t really know what I’m doing yet. Still adjusting to this adult thing.”
“Well, we should teach you now, for when you come back next month.” Her father said.
“Or maybe you’ll come back with a nice boy who knows what he’s doing!” Her mother said enthusiastically.
“Oh yeah! A boy!” Willow replied quickly and nervously.
“So, lets get you on the plane.”
“Okay.”
Willow got her ticket and checked her luggage in, went through security and said goodbye to her parents. Willow was sitting in the terminal, surveying the crowd. She saw many different people. Willow saw a couple mid- twenties, obviously saying goodbye. She saw a few older people, some families and some random men and women in suits. She wondered what those people thought of her. Or where they were going. She continued to look around her surroundings as her green eyes fell upon a girl, about her age, blonde hair, beautiful blue eyes, Willow felt her entire body shiver as though a chill went through her, not so much a chill but the essence of the other girl. A gorgeous face. The girl, the woman, was sitting by herself, reading a book. Willow thought that she never had seen something so beautiful. She’s all by herself; maybe I should go sit with her. Willow thought to herself. The redhead put her own book into her carry on and was about to stand when she heard the PA say, “Flight 219 to Massachusetts is now boarding rows 1 through 8. Stupid first class people, with their huge seats and as many peanuts as you want... oh god. I wish I was in first class. Just as she thought that she saw the other girls stand and start to board the plane. First class, here I come.
“Hi, I know that this is really really short notice, but do you have any first class tickets available?
“Let me check.” The woman began to quickly type away on her computer. “Do you want to exchange from coach?”
“Yep.Coach.”
“There is one seat... an aisle...”
“I’ll take it.”
*~**~*~*~*~**~*~**~*~**~*~*
The redhead looked at her ticket as she passed the two fairly attractive, southern and very nice stewardesses. They greeted her kindly and she continued to aisle “4”. She didn’t see the girl and she became quickly perturbed. The person on the window seat had already settled but still looked a little uneasy. She sat and smiled to the man next to her. The redhead lowered her head into her hands and covered her eyes. She was still really tired and the day was already really long.
She lifted her head and at that very instant the small bathroom door slowly opened and out came the blonde. Willow’s breath caught and her body froze. The girl was coming closer to her and had in fact started to slow. She sat in the aisle seat in row 4, across from Willow. This is the best day ever.
The smile never left Willow’s face as the ‘please fasten your seatbelt’ sing lit. She was completely content with her thoughts when she felt a hand next to her on her shoulder. She turned to the man and smiled.
He looked fairly uneasy, nervous even. “I was just wondering, my wife is across the aisle.”
Oh god no. Please no. “And she doesn’t particularly like the window. I was just wondering if you would consider switching with her.” Yes! Yes! Yes!
“Oh sure. I don’t see a problem. As long as its alright with the woman next to your wife.”
“Honey!” The man called across the aisle. “She said alright.”
“Really?” his wife asked him nervously. Willow nodded. “Thanks very much.” she yelled as she started to stand. This definitely is the best day ever.
Willow picked up her bag and stood. She stepped back in between rows, so the woman could sit. She smiled at them both and then looked over and her eyes fell directly into the soul of blue eyes.
“Hi.” They said happily.
Best voice ever. “Hey.”
The blonde stood and let Willow go in front of her, squishing in between her and the seat in front of her. Willow sat and put her bag under the seat in front of her as she got out her book.
“Are you a good traveler?” She was asked.
“Usually. It depends on how far away I’m going.” She replied honestly. “And yourself?”
“Not at all.” The blonde smiled nervously. “So don’t mind me if you hear me start to squeal.”
Oh god. Her squealing. Mind out of the gutter Rosenburg. “Feel free to grab my hand or whatever you need. I also have some water. If you want some.”
“Thanks. I’m Tara.”
“Willow.”
“Pretty name.” Tara said sweetly. Trying to casually flirt with the red haired beauty.
“Pretty face.” Jesus Rosenburg! “Pretty face!” What are you doing?! Oh god. What’s that look on her face? A smile! She’s smiling. Yes!
“You should talk...” she said in a sarcastic tone.
“So where are you headed?”
“Boston State University College.”
“Me too!” Willow yelled. Oh yes. Best day ever.
