OMG! You weren't kidding about the :read and the :sob !!

But don't worry, I loved it, and I would certainly not kill you :peace

I'm confused by Tara's notes, though... Does she like Willow in a more-than-friendly way? Maybe... maybe not! :hmm

I guess we'll find out soon? ;)

Of course Tara misses Willow, being best friends for some time will do that for you. Combine that with Tara's tendency to take any and all blame laying around and there you go...

Bit of a shame that Willow didn't realize sooner how Tara would feel about all this. At least Willow knows (somewhat) why she's running away. Tara has no idea, so she defaults to blaming herself.

I do hope Willow pauses a bit before going to Tara's room, collect herself and her thoughts. Prevent a serious long bable to mess up everythingm, just blurting out everything she's thinking right now wouldn't be good I think :)

Wow and OMG. Wonderful and fantastic. I love the notes. They start out so fun and funny and just everyday. I mean, imagine what Tara is feeling with Willow just disapeared. That's terrible. And then at the end, like you said the downward spiral. My favorite the note where she has the different colored pens hostage. Not because of the black leather but because it's so different from the rest and such a calling card for Willow. And she's her everything. Wow and wow.

Personally I don't mind the cliffhanger because you are driving very well and I like the road. I trust you is what I'm trying to say. (but update soon :bounce :bounce :bounce )

Glad you got over the food poisioning. I got it once and yuck yuck yuck. Debra

Ah, I loved the notes! They were a really great exploration of Tara's personality and character, showing her quirky side as well as her sensitive nature. Loved the one about the pens, by the way. That was so utterly cute. :)

Oh the letters :sob Tara is so distraught , yet all this missing hasn't given her a clue? But Willow's moving and soon will reach her, I for one think it's best for her to just be herself and go in there. I hope they really talk about what happened before Willow took off and Willow doesn't just decide to not talk about that and just make Tara happy with her presence.

If I had to live my life again, I'd make the same mistakes, only sooner.

I hope Tara is going to be at her dorm. WIth the luck those two have been having Tara's probably at Buffys.

And dude, that was just to cool, the way you had Willow run back to the dorms. :bounce :bounce :bounce

Cinderlust,

First of all, I have to apologize for not checking this out sooner. I must have missed it at first. But boy, was I having a wonderful read last night and this morning as I caught up on all of it. This is a great idea, and a wonderful twist on canon. You do a fantastic job of setting mood with so many little touches (the description of the "MOE," the National Geographic mood, Willow leaning into Tara as much as possible during the movie night, and especially the incredible notes that Tara wrote. Those were such excellent glimpses into Tara's character within this story, and captured the downward spiral so powerfully. She goes from playful to "OK, now seriously, where are you?" to sheer pain and bewilderment, with a wonderful economy of words, as befits the idea of notes.

This is just a fantastic story, and whatever you're doing now, you need to drop it and have Tara open that door and, and, well, you're in charge of this and I have absolute faith in where you're going so let's just say I'm on board and will eagerly grab up whatever you write.

Thanks,

Mary

This fic is amazing. How it is possible to feel so many bloody emotions all at once while reading it? The notes I can't wait for the next update!!!!

I'd like to take a moment to talk about something that's happened lately. I'm also in love. It's a very special thing and I'm really rather proud of it. Yes, I'm in love with my own breasts. I feel no personal shame about this; in fact, I think this is the one. It's going to last. ~ Ruth

Oh man!! Open the door, Tara! :cry I can't wait to see what reaction they both will have. Will it be totally awkward and angry... will they hug and talk it through... will they get with the smoochies??? So many things could happen. I vote for smoochies, but I'm guessing its a tad early for that. :hmm Whatever you decide, I'm sure it will be perfect. Great update!

Glad you're feeling better :) Those notes were so sweet. I enjoyed Willow's reaction to each of them (like she was there with Tara) and the way she was trying to read between the lines. I hope Tara is home and Willow has the nerve to tell her how she really feels. Thanks for the update and the cliffhanger. We whinge and whine about cliffhangers but they are very exciting (yes I am a glutton for punishment). Don't make us wait too long though :pray

Hope another "wow, loved it post" isn't tired or old yet. :)

A really well written story, and the last installment - Tara's letters was very sweet. I am very keen to see how you develop this AU Tara/Willow relationship. Are you planning a LOT more with slow build up etc, or will all be well in a couple of parts??

Anyway, thanks a lot for writing.

Uhm, my girlfriend sprang a road trip on me a few hours ago and i'm about to step out of the apartment... just wanted to make it clear that you can put the blame on her, not me for the updateless next few days. :whistle hehe. just kidding -- about the last part anyway. she knows i have no willpower against anything she asks. oiks. putty little me. :

i had full intentions on writing an update to tide you over, but alas, she took me out for dinner in compensation for my food-poisining extravaganza. :love again, how was i to resist? :

so, anyway, hope you don't :smash me. i'll be back in 5 days... with an update tucked in my pocket. hopefully. :grin

thank you again for reading this and leaving your wonderful comments. see you soon! :wave

I loved the notes! Poor Tara, blaming herself for all the misery she's in. I hope Willow gets to reassure her soon (or after your road trip at least... 5 days sounds so long all of a sudden).

Really enjoying this story.

This story is great!!!!

I've been following it for a while, and have been to lazy to post.

I'm glad to know Im not the only one who writes a large amount of notes to someone and doesn't give the notes to them.

I have soo many notes in my bookbag for a certain person, and I have yet to give them to her...

(Note: I also have trouble finding things in that certain part of my bookbag, that kinda is a pencilcase, and while looking for pencils, I'll come across like ten or so notes...)

Heehee...My bad.

Anywaayyyyy, keep writing and update SOOONN!!!!

The notes were perfect. Just the right balance.

Willow's cute but doomed for the cool quotient with the grand kids once Tara makes her 'fess up that, unlike most randy young 'uns, Willow holed up in a flea bag motel in order to avoid having illicit sex with a really hot girl.
