Part 4b
Willow watched as the breeze blew the small wisps of hair, that had escaped from Tara's ponytail, across her serene face. Tara stood leaning against the porch rail with her eyes closed feeling the sun already tanning her skin while the breeze kept her cool. She listened as the waves crashed upon the sand only a small walk away. She heard the small creak of the porch's floorboards and knew she wasn't alone anymore. The wind brought her the scent of her girlfriend, and her smile widened. "Hey, Sweetie," Tara spoke before she turned around to face. She placed her hands on the rail to lean back against it.
Willow stood framed in the doorway of the very large beach house. "I got our stuff squared away in the master bedroom." Tara walked up to Willow, grabbed her hands, and pulled her out into the sun.
Tara embraced the redhead holding their hands behind Willow's back, and leisurely kissed her. When she pulled back, she asked, "Shouldn't we have waited for the others? Pick our rooms at the same time?"
"It's not our fault Xander drives like an 80 year old grandmother. Why should we be punished? 'Sides, our room has a jacuzzi in the bathroom. Just think, after a day of fun in the sun, relaxing in that.
"Mmm," Tara moaned little as naughty thoughts entered her head and she kissed her girlfriend once again. Naughty thoughts were extremely frequent these days in the minds of the two teenagers. Sleep overs had been stopped by both sets of parents when they had started dating. Aside from the occassional nap on the couch together, they hadn't even slept in the same bed in over a year. They both felt ready to take the next step in their relationship, but hadn't broached the subject with each other yet.
A silver '66 Mustang pulled into the driveway on the side of the house and honked its horn. Willow and Tara groaned at the interruption, but reluctantly made their way over to help their friends. Buffy started pulling out bag after bag from the trunk as Xander and Faith grabbed their own bags from the backseat of the car and placed just inside the house's foryer. "Buffy, um, you know we're here only a week, right?" the redhead asked.
"Yeah, Willow. Why?" Buffy placed her small bathroom tote on top of the pile of luggage and shut the trunk. She picked up a bag and the small tote and started up the steps. "Faith, honey, could you help Willow with my bags, please?"
Xander snickered at Faith, "Better help her, Faith."
Faith backslapped him on the shoulder. She walked over to where Willow and Tara were trying to lift up the heavy bags. "B, did you really need this many clothes?"
Buffy stopped at the door. She slid her glasses down her nose to look at Faith. "Variety is the spice of life. And if you want to keep the spice in our life, you'll help with the bags." Buffy disappeared through the entrance. Xander burst out laughing, and Faith glared at him, but picked up the remaining bags. She followed the other girls up the steps. She stopped in front of Xander and tossed a bag hard into his stomach nearly knocking the wind out of him. With a smile, she continued into the house.
Tara and Buffy were outside sunbathing on the porch. Willow walked through the kitchen to grab a drink, when she found Faith making a lot of noise with a blender. "You making smoothies?" she asked as she picked up a pink looking bottle on the counter.
"Something like that," Faith replied. She grabbed a bottle of clear liquid and poured more into the blender. She hit the mixing button again.
Willow's eyes widen as she read the label, and then repeated the words quite loudly, "Strawberry Daiquiri Mix!!!" Faith just grinned as she poured a little into a glass to taste test it. "Faith, I'm pretty sure our parents didnt rent the liquor for us, too."
Satisfied with the concoction, "Relax, Red. I'll replace what we use. This just saves me the trip to the minimart with my fake ID for now." She poured herself and Willow a full glass and the rest into a large pitcher which she placed in the refridgerator. "Figure I'll make a couple of pitchers now so we don't waste time later. Here, try it." Willow looked at the glass in her hand with disgust. "Willow, it won't kill you to have one drink. Try a little, and if you don't like it, I won't bother you anymore."
Willow shook her head, but took a small sip. "That's actually not bad." Faith grinned as she took a drink of hers and set about making another pitcher. Willow leisurely drink the beverage in her hand as she watched Faith fill the pitcher with ice, and poured some of the mix into the blender. The redhead didn't even realize she had drank over half her glass already. "Faith, can I ask you some stuff?"
"Sure, Red"
"You and Buffy have been...umm...intimate before, right?" Willow asked hesitantly.
Faith turned and gazed intently at Willow for moment before breaking down into a smirk. "Yeah, B and I have made with the horizonatal mambo a few times before. Why do you ask?"
Willow winced at Faith's phrase, but the alcohol in her system was already beginning to eat away at her inhibitions. "What was your first time like?"
"Look, Red, I can already see where this is going. I'm willing to talk about techniques and the actual act of it, but details about me and Buffy personally, a lady never reveals."
"Oh," Willow said as she stared into her glass.
"So you and Tara haven't done anything, right?" Faith asked trying to draw the girl out again.
"Uh, no, nothing like that."
"You feel you're ready?"
"Yeah. I love her so much and I want to show her." Willow nearly knocked her glass over in her excitement.
"That's great. Is she wanting to?" Faith did another taste test of her mix. Her face said it wasn't ready yet. Willow watch her start to add more of the clear liquid.
"We haven't really talked about it. The last couple of months everything was so hectic. Prom, research papers, finals and graduation."
"Well, the first thing i would suggest is talk about it with her. If you're both ready, you'll know when the time is right to move forward, okay?"
Willow grinned goofily at the brunette. "Thanks, Faith."
"No prob, bob," Faith said. Faith grabbed three glasses from the cabinet and filled two of them. "Not sure where Xander is at," she mumbled. She filled her own glass and Willow's back to the top and poured the rest into the pitcher from the fridge. She placed the pitcher and glasses onto a tray. "Grab my glass, Red." She lead the way onto the porch to present the blondes with fruity goodness.
