The Grid, new series on TNT

Postby ichi chan » Mon Jul 19, 2004 11:03 pm

I don't know if there's a thread for this already but I want to see what other peoples thoughts are on it.

Did anyone else find it freakishly close to reality (if you watched it)? Having watched the news less than an hour before and watching at 11 right after it ended I just found the sililarities eerily disturbing. Terrorist attacks don't scae me that much, I don't know why, but in a way this show did.

"Great, I s-s-stutter even in my t-thoughts..." - my role play character Tara.

The Grid was actually rather good....I agree that it was quite close to the latest happenings and, of course, Julianna Margulies rocked my socks. Anyone else think that Dylan McDermott swearing sounds a little....well off? And Tom Skerritt makes quite the nasty heavy from the CIA. I quite believe that there is no end to the political machinations and damned confounded wrangling amongst the agencies. Sometimes I wonder how all of them can tie their own damned shoes without sinking the country down the crapper.

It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end.

i agree that it's a good show. I've watched the first three episodes and find that it depicts something realistic. Julianna Margulies... really like her since her ER days... gorgeous... except with straight hair now.
