Songs that remind us of Willow and Tara

I wouldn't class this song as actually one that reminds me of Willow and Tara.

I think this should be Willows theme tune. With all the shit that keeps being piled on her, I think she should be entitled to feel rather like this.

"Why Does It Always Rain On Me?" By Travis

I can't sleep tonight

Everybody saying everything's alright

Still I can't close my eyes

I'm seeing a tunnel at the end of all these lights

Sunny days

Where have you gone?

I get the strangest feeling you belong

Why does it always rain on me?

Is it because I lied when I was seventeen?

Why does it always rain on me?

Even when the sun is shining

I can't avoid the lightning

I can't stand myself

I'm being held up by an invisible man

Still life on a shelf when

I got my mind on something else

Sunny days

Where have you gone?

I get the strangest feeling you belong

Why does it always rain on me?

Is it because I lied when I was seventeen?

Why does it always rain on me?

Even when the sun is shining

I can't avoid the lightning

Oh, where did the blue skies go?

And why is it raining so?

It's so cold

I can't sleep tonight

Everybody's saying everything's all right

Still I can't close my eyes

I'm seeing a tunnel at the end of the lights

Sunny days

Where have you gone?

I get the strangest feeling you belong

Why does it always rain on me?

Is it because I lied when I was seventeen?

Even when the sun is shining

I can't avoid the lightning

Oh, where did the blue skies go?

And why is it raining so?

It's so cold

Why does it always rain on me?

Why does it always rain on....

When I first heard this song I thought it is just perfect for Willow and Tara. "Before Your Love" by Kelly Clarkson.

"Before Your Love"

I wonder how I ever make it through a day

How did I settle for the world in shades of gray

When you go in circles all the scenery looks the same

And you don't know how

And I looked into your eyes

Where the road stretched out in front of me

And I realized

I'd never live

Before your love

I'd never felt

Before your touch

And I'd never needed anyone

To make me feel alive

But then again,

I wasn't really livin'

I'd never lived...

Before your love

I wanted more than just another merry life

All of my dreams, seemed like castles in the sky

I stand before you and my heart is in your hands

And I dont know how

I'd survive without your kiss

Cuz you've given me

A reason to exist

I'd never lived

Before your love

I'd never felt

Before your touch

I'd never needed anyone

To make me feel alive

But then again,

I wasn't really livin'

I'd never lived...

I'd never lived...

Before your love

I'd never lived

Before your love

And I don't know why

Why the sun decides to shine

But you've breathed your love into me just in time

I'd never lived

Before your love

I'd never felt

Before your touch

I'd never needed anyone

To make me feel alive

But then again

I wasn't really livin'

I'd never lived

I'd never lived

Before!...

Your!!...

Love!!!... OHHH!!!!!

And everytime I hear this song I get a warm feeling in my heart. "Amazed" by Lonestar.

"Amazed"

Every time our eyes meet

This feeling inside me

Is almost more than I can take

Baby when you touch me

I can feel how much you love me

And it just blows me away

I've never been this close to anyone or anything

I can hear your thoughts

I can see your dreams

I don't know how you do what you do

I'm so in love with you

It just keeps getting better

I wanna spend the rest of my life

With you by my side

Forever and ever

Every little thing that you do

Baby I'm amazed by you

The smell of your skin

The taste of your kiss

The way you whisper in the dark

Your hair all around me

Baby you surround me

You touch every place in my heart

Oh it feels like the first time every time

I wanna spend the whole night in your eyes

I don't know how you do what you do

I'm so in love with you

It just keeps getting better

I wanna spend the rest of my life

With you by my side

Forever and ever

Every little thing that you do

Baby I'm amazed by you

Every little thing that you do

I'm so in love with you

It just keeps getting better

I wanna spend the rest of my life

With you by my side

Forever and ever

Every little thing that you do

Oh, every little thing that you do

Baby I'm amazed by you

P.S. I was wondering if you guys could help me. I heard this country song by this girl but I didn't catch her name or the title of the song, and I was wondering if you guys know who I'm talking about, one of the lines of the song goes like this. My love, my valentine. Sorry I wish I had more to go on.

Lonewolf22,

While I'm not a big fan of country music, that song happens to be a favorite of my sister-in-law. I believe it's 'Valentine' by Martina McBride. I hope this helps.

Yes, Lonewolf22, I think Kim is right. Here are the lyrics. I've always liked this song too. Seems very fitting. Sigh.

Valentine

(Jim Brickman/Jack Kugell)

If there were no words

No way to speak

I would still hear you

If there were no tears

No way to feel inside

I'd still feel for you

And even if the sun refused to shine

Even if romance ran out of rhyme

You would still have my heart until the end of time

You're all I need, my love, my Valentine

All of my life

I have been waiting for

All you give to me

You've opened my eyes

And showed me how to love unselfishly

I've dreamed of this a thousand times before

But in my dreams I couldn't love you more

I will give you my heart

Until the end of time...

You're all I need, my love, my Valentine

And even if the sun refused to shine

Even if romance ran out of rhyme

You would still have my heart until the end of time

'Cause all I need is you, my Valentine

You're all I need, my love, my Valentine

I think this song is very appropriate, along the same lines as the one above.

If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you.

When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me.

Kind woman, I give you my all, Kind woman, nothing more.

Little drops of rain whisper of the pain, tears of loves lost in the days gone by.

My love is strong, with you there is no wrong,

together we shall go until we die. My, my, my.

An inspiration is what you are to me, inspiration, look... see.

And so today, my world it smiles, your hand in mine, we walk the miles,

Thanks to you it will be done, for you to me are the only one.

Happiness, no more be sad, happiness....

I'm glad.

If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you.

When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me.

Tara nodded in agreement "She has magic fingers." Then, as though the words had just echoed back to her and sounded not at all right, she perked up and glanced around at the others. "On the keyboard."

I tend to sing the following song in moments of maudlin drunkneness. It was made famous here by and Irish singer songwriter called Christy Moore:

One Last Cold Kiss

Two island swans, mated for life,

And his faithful heart would not consider any other wife.

For three years peaceful joy midst the rushes of the pond,

Proud and gentle was the loving of the last two island swans.

Their love was like a circle, no beginning and no end,

With his lady by his side a treasure and best friend.

The pond was all so peaceful in the rising of the sun,

Young and free at the island breeze their life had just begun.

'Til a dread day in November when the searing cold did start,

Stalked the hunter with his bow and put an arrow through her heart.

Husband come to my side let your feathers warm my pain,

For I feel I will not spend another day with you again.

And the cold winds blow,

He was brave but he's laid low.

By her body in the isle of mist,

I saw him give her one last cold kiss, one last cold kiss.

Of swans the people talk of only one in this days tide,

Through they brought him twenty ladies he would take no other bride.

They say he will not move from the place where she did fall,

Once so proud he's beaten now and he will not rise at all.

Adding up the total of a love that's true, multiply life by the power of two

This song can be more seen as thoughts from either Willow and Tara after meeting each other. I'm thinking more Tara though.

'Sittin' Up In My Room' By Brandy

Whoa, ooh

Seems like ever since

The first day we met

There is no one else I think of more than you

I can't seem to forget

Can't get you out my head

Cause the verdicts in

I'm crazy over you

How can one be down?

Tell me where to start

Cause every time you smile

I feel tremors in my heart

I have but one concern

How can I get with you?

Till my day comes here's what I'm gonna do.

1 - Be sittin up in my room

Back here thinking 'bout you

I must confess I'm a mess for you

Be sittin up in my room

Back here thinking 'bout you

I'm just a mess with a thing for you

2 - Pray that you'll invest

In my happiness

All it takes is just one simple call from you

Turn my heart around

If I'm making ground

Pretty baby please tell me if I'm getting through

Tell me what is up

You see I need to know

Tell if I'm far or if I'm getting close

I have but one concern

And one concern is you

Till I'm with you here's what I'm gonna do

Repeat 1

Ooh whoa, oh yeah, oh yeah

Hmm, oh, oh, oh

How can one be down?

Tell me where to start

Cause every time you smile

I feel tremors in my heart

I have but one concern

How can I get with you?

Till my day comes here's what I'm gonna do

Repeat 1

Repeat 1 & 2

Repeat 1

Raspberry Swirl by

Tori Amos

I am not your senorita

I am not from your tribe

In the garden I did no crime

I am not your senorita

I am not from your tribe

if you want inside her

well,

boy you better make her raspberry swirl

things are getting desperate

when all the boys can't be men

everybody knows I'm her friend

everybody knows I'm her man

I'm not your senorita

I don't aim so high

in my heart I do no crime

if you want inside her

well,

boy you better make her raspberry swirl

and she swirls,

and she swirls,

she swirls, and she swirls...

Lemon Parade, by Tonic, is such a perfect Willow/Tara song.

I see it as Tara speaking to Will; about her geek-infested roots, the addiction to magic (ie. armor)...and then of course there's the 'lemon' theme. :p Seriously though, it's perfect (the secret friends being the scoobies, and the way Will first hid behind books, now magic). *sigh* I read too much into lyrics, I know...

___________________

I wish I'd seen you as a little girl

Without your armor to fend off the world

I would have kept you underneath my wing

I would protect you from everything

Make way for the lemon parade

Make way for my girl

Make way for the lemon parade

Make way for my girl

Did the boys all tease you when they had

the chance

Always left standing when it came time

to dance

Did you hide behind your books girl

Did you find your secret friends

Always I'll want you

Always 'till the end

Make way for the lemon parade

Make way for my girl

Make way for the lemon parade

Make way for my girl

-------------------------

Tara: Hey! You're gonna back off. She said no, and that's it. You're not gonna make her do something that she doesn't want to. And if you try, you're gonna have to go through me first. Understood?

One song I recently heard that made me think of W/T was Quindon's "When Doves Cry". It's just such a pretty song. Parts of it fit their story at various time (eg, 'how can you just leave me standing, alone in a world that's so cold - After 'Grave'), parts of it don't but..still reminds me of them.

Quindon - When Doves Cry

Dig if you will the picture

Of you and I engaged in a kiss

The sweat of your body covers me

Can you my darling

Can you picture this?

Dream if you can a courtyard

An ocean of violets in bloom

Animals strike curious poses

They feel the heat

The heat between me and you

How can you just leave me standing?

Alone in a world that's so cold? (So cold)

Maybe I'm just too demanding

Maybe I'm just like my father too bold

Maybe you're just like my mother

She's never satisfied (She's never satisfied)

Why do we scream at each other

This is what it sounds like

When doves cry

Touch if you will my stomach

Feel how it trembles inside

You've got the butterflies all tied up

Don't make me chase you

Even doves have pride

How can you just leave me standing?

Alone in a world so cold? (World so cold)

Maybe I'm just too demanding (maybe maybe)

Maybe I'm just like my father too bold (too bold)

Maybe you're just like my mother

She's never satisfied (She's never satisfied)

Why do we scream at each other (why)

This is what it sounds like

When doves cry

ooh ooh ooh - baby

How can you just leave me standing?

Alone in a world that's so cold? (a world so cold)

Maybe I'm just too demanding

Maybe I'm just like my father too bold (you know, you know he's too

bold)

Maybe you're just like my mother

She's never satisfied (never satisfied)

Why do we scream at each other (why)

This is what it sounds like

When doves cry

Saule77, Gotta agree with you on GN'Rs "Patience".

WiccansIllusion, Led Zeppelin's "Thank You" is also a great one. One of Page/Plant's better collaboartions. Of course JPJ on the organ is great.

This is new one that always gives me a smile.

Amber by 311

Brainstorm

take me away from the norm

I got to tell you something

this phenomenon

I had to put it in a song

and it goes like

Whoa, amber is the color of your energy

whoa, shades of gold displayed naturally

you ought to know what brings me here

you glide through my head blind to fear

and I know why

whoa, amber is the color of your energy

whoa, shades of gold displayed naturally

Whoa, amber is the color of your energy

whoa, shades of gold displayed naturally

You live too far away

your voice rings like a bell anyway

don't give up your independence

unless it feels so right

nothing good comes easily

sometimes you gotta fight

Whoa, amber is the color of your energy

whoa, shades of gold displayed naturally

launched a thousand ships in my heart, so easy

still it's fine from afar, and you know that

whoa, brainstorm take me away from the norm

whoa, I got to tell you something

two songs that are on my playlist and whenever they come on i think of w/t and they make me happy.. the first one is by Kirstun Dunst.. apparently she sings.. i didn't know either.. its good though the lyrics are really sweet.. it is called 'Dream of Me' the second is 'Walk With You' by Dispatch

i couldn't find the lyrics for 'Dream of Me' online, but i will type them out as best i can…

Dream of Me

let me sleep

for when i sleep i dream that you are here

your mine

and all my fears are left behind

i float

on air

the nightingale sings gently lullabies

so let me close my eyes

and sleep

a chance to dream

so i can see the face i long to touch

to kiss

but only dreams can bring me this

so let the moon shine softly on the boy i long to see

and maybe when he dreams

he'll dream of me

i hide beneath the clouds and whisper to the evening star

they tell me love is just a dream away

dream away… dream away… dream away

i’ll dream away..

so let the moon shine softly on the boy i long to see

and maybe when he dreams

he’ll dream of me

ohhh ohhh.. dream of me

of course all of the ‘boy’ remarks can be turned to ‘girl’ for our girls!!

‘Walk With You’ starts with a long instrumental section (2min and 30sec on my version)

Walk With You

and i will walk with you

using the stars as guides

on a homeward path we go

knowing our time is nigh

i… and i will walk to be with you

all i’ve done

to be with you

so put your hand in mine

and lay your head to rest

we'll light the candles now

they won't be lit for long

we'll know our day was blessed

i… and i will walk to be with you

all i’ve done… all i’ve done

just to be with you

and i will walk with you

using the stars as guides

on a homeward path we go (path we go)

knowing our time is nigh

i… i will walk to be with you

all that i've done, and all i say

to be with you...

to be with you…

to be with you…

to p: "I'm only here tonight because of you. You are the reason I am. You are all my reasons. Thank You." A Beautiful Mind

This song reminds me of Tara leaving Willow, just switch the parts with 'man'

and yes, speaking of actress's who sing, Kate has an amazing voice.

What If

Written by Steve Mac/Wayne Hector

Here I stand alone

With this weight upon my heart

And it will not go away

In my head I keep on looking back

Right back to the start

Wondering what it was that made you change

Well I tried

But I had to draw the line

And still this question keeps on spinning in my mind

What if I had never let you go

Would you be the man I used to know

If I'd stayed

If you'd tried

If we could only turn back time

But I guess we'll never know

Many roads to take

Some to joy

Some to heartache

Anyone can lose their way

And if I said that we could turn it back

Right back to the start

Would you take the chance and make the change

Do you think how it would have been sometimes

Do you pray that I'd never left your side

What if I had never let you go

Would you be the man I used to know

If I'd stayed

If you'd tried

If we could only turn back time

But I guess we'll never know

If only we could turn the hands of time

If I could take it back would you still be mine

'Cos I tried

But I had to draw the line

And still this question keep on spinning in my mind

What if I had never let you go

Would you be the man I used to know

What if I had never walked away

'Cos I still love you more than I could say

If I'd stayed

If you'd tried

If we could only turn back time

But I guess we'll never know

We'll never know

WiccansIllusion, I LOVE that song by Kate Winslet. It's a bit melodramatic, but hey, that's what gives it its charm. :) By the way, www.buffy-tv.de has a Buffy/Angel video set to that song, and it's really good. I'm not a B/A shipper by any stretch of the imagination, but that vid made me cry.

And just to stay on topic, here's one that reminds me of Willow, after Tara's death.

"The End Of The World" by Skeeter Davis

Why does the sun go on shining?

Why does the sea rush to shore?

Don't they know it's the end of the world

'Cause you don't love me anymore?

Why do the birds go on singing?

Why do the stars glow above?

Don't they know it's the end of the world?

It ended when I lost your love

I wake up in the morning and I wonder

Why everything's the same as it was

I can't understand, no I can't understand

How life goes on the way it does!

Why does my heart go on beating?

Why do these eyes of mine cry?

Don't they know it's the end of the world?

It ended when you said goodbye

Why does my heart go on beating?

Why do these eyes of mine cry?

Don't they know it's the end of the world?

It ended when you said goodbye

Lifehouse- Everything

find me here

speak to me

i want to feel you

i need to hear you

you are the light

that is leading me

to the place where

i find peace again

you are the strength

that keeps me walking

you are the hope

that keeps me trusting

you are the life to my soul

you are my purpose

you are everything

and how can i

stand here with you

and not be moved by you

would you tell me

how could it be

any better than this

you calm the storms

you give me rest

you hold me in your hands

you won't let me fall

you still my heart

and you take my breath away

would you take me in

would you take me deeper now

'cause you're all i want

you are all i need

you are everything

everything

I would really appreciate it... if you don't do that again. -- Liu Jiuan, "Kiss of the Dragon"

I was going through some old CDs and found one of my favorite Brazilian songwriter/singers, Oswaldo Montenegro. This song always brought tears to my eyes, thanks to some memories and because it's just beautiful, but when I was listening to it today, I couldn't help but think of Willow. Goddess, it touched me even more... :(

The song is part of a musical he wrote (and I was luck enough to see) about human emotions, it was really cool. His lyrics are always a little weird and this is a free translation, so be warned... :)

Forever Is Not Every Day

Today I woke up so lonely

More lonely than I deserve

I looked at my mirror and ha!

I screamed what I wanted more

Without asking for my permission

The sunlight shined through the window

As if it wanted to be my guide

And I who already knew everything

About the astral ways

I screwed up and my head is dizzy

My kingdom didn’t foresee this

I looked at my mirror and ha!

My scream didn’t convince myself

Princess, I know I am forever

But forever is not every day

I got my nose ready

For the scent and my addiction

I smelled you in the seeds

The morning brought to me

Today I woke up so lonely

More lonely than I deserve

I think it’s going to last forever

But forever is not every day

When I heard Avril Lavignes "I'm With You" for the first time it kinda reminded me of Willow and Tara (Ok, I admit it, I love her :blush ). I think the song's really sweet and touching.

Avril Lavigne - I'm With You

I'm standing on the bridge

I'm waiting in the dark

I thought that you'd be here by now

There's nothing but the rain

No footsteps on the ground

I'm listening but there's no sound

Isn't anyone trying to find me

Won't somebody come take me home

It's a damn cold night

Trying to figure out this live

Won't you take me by the hand

Take me somewhere new

I don't know who you are but I

I'm with you

I'm looking for a place

I'm searching for a face

Is anybody here I know

Cause nothing's going right

And everything's a mess

And noone likes to be alone

Isn't anyone trying to find me

Won't somebody come take me home

It's a damn cold night

Trying to figure out this live

Won't you take me by the hand

Take me somewhere new

I don't know who you are but I

I'm with you

I'm with you

Why is everything so confusing

Maybe I'm just out of my mind

Yeah Yeah....

Chorus

It just got me thinking about Willow and Tara :)

:love & :peace

Diane

You don't like me for who I am, then you don't like me for who I am...and all you can get...is who I am.

I thought of some more songs that remind me of the relationship that W/T had. All of these songs could be sang by Willow at Tara's funeral or used as a tribute to Tara from Willow or anyone else. Some of them could also be sang by either Willow or Tara to the other while Tara was still alive or while they were still together (before "Tabula Rasa").

My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion

Every night in my dreams

I see you, I feel you

That is how I know you go on

Far across the distance

And spaces between us

You have come to show you go on

Near, far, wherever you are

I believe that the heart does go on

Once more you open the door

And you're here in my heart

And my heart will go on and on

Love can touch us one time

And last for a lifetime

And never let go till we're one

Love was when I loved you

One true time I hold to

In my life we'll always go on

Near, far, wherever you are

I believe that the heart does go on

Once more you open the door

And you're here in my heart

And my heart will go on and on

There is some love that will not go away

You're here, there's nothing I fear

And I know that my heart will go on

We'll stay forever this way

You are safe in my heart

And my heart will go on and on

I Would've Loved You Anyway by Trisha Yearwood

If I had known the way that this would end,

If I had read the last page first,

If I had had the strength to walk away,

If I had known how this would hurt,

I would've loved you anyway.

I'd do it all the same,

Not a second I would change,

Not a touch that I would trade.

Had I known my heart would break,

I would've loved you anyway.

It's bittersweet to look back now

At memories withered on the vine.

And just to hold you close to me

For a moment in time.

I would've loved you anyway.

I'd do it all the same,

Not a second I would change,

Not a touch that I would trade.

Had I known my heart would break,

I would've loved you anyway.

And even if I'd seen it coming,

You'd still have seen me running

Straight into your arms.

I would've loved you anyway.

I'd do it all the same,

Not a second I would change,

Not a touch that I would trade.

Had I known my heart would break,

I would've loved you anyway.

I would've loved you anyway.

There You'll Be by Faith Hill

When I think back on these times

And the dreams we left behind

I’ll be glad 'cos I was blessed to get

To have you in my life

When I look back on these days

I’ll look and see your face

You were right there for me

In my dreams I’ll always see your soul above the sky

In my heart, there always be a place for you for all my life

I’ll keep a part of you with me

And everywhere I am, there you’ll be

Well you showed me how it feels

To feel the sky within my reach

And I always will remember all

The strength you gave to me

Your love made me make it through

Oh, I owe so much to you

You were right there for me

In my dreams I’ll always see your soul above the sky

In my heart, there always be a place for you for all my life

I’ll keep a part of you with me

And everywhere I am, there you’ll be

'Cos I always saw in you

My light, my strength

And I want to thank you now for all the ways

You were right there for me, you were right there for me

For always

In my dreams I’ll always see your soul above the sky

In my heart, there always be a place for you for all my life

I’ll keep a part of you with me

And everywhere I am, there you’ll be

Can't Smile Without You by the Carpenters

You know I can't smile without you.

I can't smile without you.

I cant' laugh and I can't walk,

finding it hard even to talk.

And I feel sad when you're sad.

I feel glad when your glad.

And you must know what I'm going through,

I just can't smile without you.

You came along just like a song

you brightened my days.

Who'd believe you were part of a dream

that always seemed light years away.

And you know I can't smile without you.

I can't smile without you.

And you must know what I'm going through,

I just can't smile without you.

Some people say

the happiness way

is something that hard to find.

Into the new, leaving the old behind me.

And I feel sad when you're sad.

I feel glad when your glad.

And you must know what I'm going through,

I just can't smile without you.

(Instrumental Break)

Into the new, leaving the old behind me.

And I feel sad when you're sad.

I feel glad when your glad.

And you must know what I'm going through,

I just can't smile without you.

Everything I Do (I Do It For You) by Bryan Adams

Look into my eyes

You will see, what you mean to me

Search your heart , search your soul

And when you find me, then you'll search no more

Don't tell me it's not worth trying for

You can't tell me it's not worth dying for

You know it's true, everything I do I do it for you

Look into your heart , you will find

There's nothing there to hide

Take me as I am, take my life

I would give it all, I would sacrifice

Don't tell me it's not worth fighting for

I can't help it, there's nothing I want more

You know it's true, everything I do I do it for you

There's no love, like your love

And no other, could give me more love

There's nowhere, unless you're there

All the time, all the way

Oh, you can't tell me it's not worth trying for

I can't help it, there's nothing I want more

I would fight for you, I'd lie for you

Walk the wire for you, yeah I'd die for you

Ya know it's true

Everything I do

I do it for you

"I Need You" By Lee Ann Rymes

I don't need a lot of things

I can get by with nothing

Of all the blessings life can bring

I've always needed something

But I've got all I want

When it comes to loving you

You're my only reason

You're my only truth

I need you like water

Like breath, like rain

I need you like mercy

From Heaven's gate

There's a freedom in your arms

That carries me through

I need you

You're the hope that moves me

To courage again

You're the love that rescues me

When the cold winds rage

And it's so amazing

Cause that's just how you are

And I can't turn back now

Cause you've brought me too far

I need you like water

Like breath, like rain

I need you like mercy

From Heaven's gate

There's a freedom in your arms

That carries me through

I need you

...

then i am suddenly reminded of "Lessons" and then I listen to this song and i just wanna burst out crying...

My happiness - Powderfinger

I see your shadow on the street now

I hear you push through the rusty gate

click of your heels on the concrete

waiting for a knock coming way too late

It seems an age since I've seen you

countdown as the weeks trickle into days

So you come in and put your bags down

I know there's something in the air.

How can I do this to you right now

If you're over there when I need you here

My happiness is slowly creeping back

now you're at home

If it ever starts sinking in

It must be when you pack up and go.

It seems an age since I've seen you

countdown as the weeks trickle into days

I hope that time hasn't change you

All I really want is for you to stay

I know, I know, I know what is inside.

Mollyig, you know Powderfinger?

*stares with amazement* I'm amazed that you know an Aussie band. They're great, huh? :D

'Up and Down and Back Again', 'Already Gone' and 'The Metre' are my favourite songs. And they all have some relevence to Willow/Tara.

edited to add: Slayer747, if you have Kazaa you should download a W/T video clip to the song "I need you" (Leanne Rhimes). It'll make you feel a lot happier, trust me! It's really sweet, and worth downloading. If you want it and don't have Kazaa, I'll send it to you. :)

vix84 Yup, I know the Powderfinger. I have a friend who is Australian and she recommended the boys to me. Saw them in concert this year, I think I was one of the few Irish people at it - mobbed with Aussies it was!

Nothing describes that lonely feeling better than cheesy 80's rock ballads. Really. It's replaced C&W as the music for pain & heartbreak. Willow, this is for you:

Chilliwack - My Girl

Ever since left me

I sure feel all alone

A little misunderstanding

I can't get her on the telephone

Hanging out down on Main Street

Living in a different world

Standing around with the gang on the corner

Talking about my girl

My girl - She was the world to me

She's gone - Away across the street

My girl - Is just a memory

She's been so long away

She didn't have to leave me

She didn't have to run

She didn't have to go without a word to anyone

I hope she's doing alright

I got no way to know

Unless she gets to hear this song

Hear it on the radio

My girl - She was the world to me

She's gone - And that's a tragedy

My girl - Is just a memory

She's been so long away

[Break]

I hope she gets the message

Got to ger back, you know

Gonna track her down, I'll find that girl

Gonna tell her that I love her so

Put the word on the grapevine

Spread it all around the world

Sooner or later i know i'm gonna get her

I'm talking about my girl

My girl

My girl (x12)

I second that advice Vix gave! deffinitly download the Will/Tara clip to 'I Need You'! there are JUST so many songs that remind me off them... not all of em even good, but they still remind me, like lots of the sad ones :(

but then it's ok cause all the happy ones do too :D

ok, ok, stopping now...

Tara: Every time I... even when I'm at my worst, you
always make me feel special. How
do you do that?

Im movin On - Rascal Flatts

I've dealt with my ghosts and faced all my demons

Finally content with a past I regret

I’ve found you find strength in your moments of weakness

For once I’m at peace with myself

I’ve been burdened with blame, trapped in the past for too long

I’m movin’ on

I’ve lived in this place and I know all the faces

Each one is different but they’re always the same

They mean me no harm but it’s time that I face it

They’ll never allow me to change

But I never dreamed home would end up where I don’t belong

I’m movin’ on

I’m movin’ on

At last I can see life has been patiently waiting for me

And I know there’s no guarentee’s, but I’m not alone

There comes a time in everyone’s life

When all you can see are the years passing by

And I have made up my mind that those days are gone

I sold what I could and packed what I couldn’t

Stopped to fill up on my way out of town

I’ve loved like I should but lived like I shouldn’t

I had to lose everything to find out

Maybe forgiveness will find me somewhere down this road

I’m movin’ on

I’m movin’ on I’m movin’ on

At first i thought this song was about the person trying to move on from a relationship but after listening to it many times i realize that its about a situation that the person is moving on from. It reminds me of Willow in the first episode of this season. Not moving on from what happened but accepting it and knowing that she can't change it.

"If I know what love is, it is because of you."

once upon a year gone by she saw herself give in, every time she closed her eyes she saw what could have been, well nothing hurts and nothing bleeds
when covers tucked in tight,
funny when the bottom drops how she forgets to fight... to fight

Together Again, by Janet Jackson...doesn't have the greatest lyrics (the word 'baby' gets on your nerves after a while) but there are parts that really relate to them, and make me think of Willow without Tara :cry

Together Again

There are times

When I look above

And beyond

There are times when I feel your love

Around me baby

I'll never forget my baby

I'll never forget you

There are times when I look above and beyond

There are times when I feel your love around me baby

I'll never forget my baby

When I feel that I don't belong

Draw my strength

From the words when you said

Hey it's about you baby

Look deeper inside you baby

Dream about us together again

What I want us together again baby

I know we'll be together again cuz

Everywhere I go

Every smile I see

I know you are there

Smilin back at me

Dancin in moonlight

I know you are free

Cuz I can see your star

Shinin down on me

Good times we'll share again

Makes me wanna dance

Say it loud and proud

All my love's for you

Always been a true angel to me

Now above

I can't wait for you to wrap your wings around me baby

Oooh wrap them around me baby

Sometimes hear you whisperin

No more pain

No worries will you ever see now baby

I'm so happy for my baby

Good times we'll share again

Ooh it makes me wanna dance

Say it loud and proud

All my love's for you

There are times when I look above and beyond

There are times when I feel you smile upon me baby

I'll never forget my baby

What I'd give just to hold you close

As on earth

In heaven we will be together baby

Together again my baby
