Tenk å kalle spillerne våre gamle... *risteoppittpåhodet* Fra OL i Sydney til VM i Romania fikk vi 10 nye spiller... altså 10 VM-debutanter, som var med på å ta sølv... mens jentene deres tok 4.plass. Else Marte Sørli er kanskje ikke verdens beste strekspiller, men hun er en forsvarskjempe av dimensjoner - og sammen med Gro Hammerseng kommer vi til å få verdens beste forsvar!

Må kanskje si meg enig i at Camilla Andersen stiller i en klasse for seg selv... men siden hun er gift med Mia kan vi kanskje dele de to??? De to sammen er jo nesten like søte som Willow og Tara... nei, vent... jeg tar det tilbake. Ingen kan måle seg med Willow og Tara!

Spiller ikke håndball lengre. La opp pga av skade da jeg var 18 år De siste to årene var jeg linjespiller, men fortsatt midtback en gang i blant. Trener og dommer også.



Jeg vet at mamma får inn dansk tv2, og får se om jeg klarer å overtale henne til å ta det opp på video til meg for å sende den til meg Selv om hun nok ikke kommer til å huske det. Hvilken dag og klokkeslett går det?

That means 10 WC debutantes, who took silver, while your players only came 4. Else Marte Sørli might not be the worlds best "linjespiller", but she is a defencegiant of dimensions - and together with Gro Hammerseng we'll have the best defense in the world.

I might have to agree that Camilla Andersen is in a league of her own... but since she's married to Mia we can maybe share them?? Together they are almost as cute as Willow and Tara...wait... I take that back. Nobody can be compared to Will & Tara!

I don't play handball anymore. An injury forced me to quite when I was 18.



I know that my mom can watch Danish TV2, so I have to try and get her to tape it and mail it to me. Even if she'll probably forget it. What time does it air?

Jo vi kan da godt "dele" Mia og Camilla... Btw. Mia er ret pæn, jeg synes at Camilla var heldig at hun fik hende De er søde sammen...men du har ret, ikke helt så søde som Will og Tara.

Skaden min er også i ryggen, og i den ene hofta - en eller annen sammenheng der. Likte det heller ikke noe særlig. Legene sa i tre år at jeg burde slutte å spille håndball for det kom bare til å bli verre, men hvem hører på leger??? Trist den dagen jeg innså at de hadde rett... I dag plager den meg ikke, men så spiller jeg heller ikke håndball...

I absolutely hero worship Willow and Tara. And thanks to Mr. Whedon, we all have these two really charismatic characters to hero worship!



I've always like Alyson Hannigan since i first saw her in "My Stepmother is An Alien" then there were no shows with Aly in them shown or sold in Malaysia until American Pie came along. All my friends talked about Chris Klein and the other members of that show but it always seem I'm the only supporter for Alyson Hannigan. Sigh... But now I've found people who really love her. Finally comes BtVS. One of the best shows I've seen. It's more interesting than BH90210 and BH90210 isn't even nice..BtVS rocks! But not in Malaysia.



I got a glimpse of Amber Benson for the first time when i was in Australia. While i rarely watched TV, i decided to switch on the TV and there she was...Amber and Alyson in Checkpoint, the scene where the council people were asking them about their relationship with Buffy. I was..oh cool...Alyson....but i was kinda staring at Amber Benson...who is she? I hopped over to college the next day to do some research on who in this sweet world is Amber Benson (actually i didn't even know her name then).



Oooo.... yeah....forgot to mention one thing.... does anyone agree that Amber Benson has the most perfect and natural looking...br..bre...brea.....*cough cough takes a deep breath* breasts (i've got a problem saying, hearing, looking and reading this word, i dunno why, i get really um..shy) in the whole world of entertainment? I think so....I really do...she's got this really great body. *grins*



Now I'm a major supporter of Amber as well as Alyson. Also I was so happy to find out that when i watched the episode Checkpoint, i knew that before the sentence "we're girlfriends.........." came out, Willow was gay.



I'm gay...or also known as a lesbian...but then everyone here knows that term *slaps forehead*. I cannot tell certain parties that I'm gay..problems will arise. I find that Willow and Tara's relationship is now an encouragement for me. I'm a pretty single track person when it comes to looking around. If i have someone in mind, no other girl would ever make my eyes wander. That's also a problem because, i've got no one and heh heh....my eyes don't wander anywhere...not guys...not girls... heh heh.

I'm in the UK, and I just have to say how (wait for it, Jamie Oliverism) PUKKA! it is that there are all these Kitties around the world. I just find it incredible that there are so many Kitties out there who can only watch Buffy from downloading it from the Net! Joss Whedon is a genius, I started watching Buffy regularly in the middle of S2. I thought it was funny, had wonderfully endearing characters whom I came to love. Then comes Willow & Tara, and what can I say, my dreams came true. Vell siden de stoppa serien etter sesong 3 her så er veldig mange av de jeg kjenner som har sett buffy begeistra for Willow, mens de enten ikke kjenner til Tara eller vet veldig lite om henne .

Så plutselig Becoming 2 her forleden, sesong2 finalen, tv4 har vist buffy SENT om kveldene (litt over midnatt) på fredager tror jeg det var, viser det seg.





Well since they stopped showing the series here after season3, alot of those I know who've seen buffy like Willow, while they either dont know Tara, or know very little about her .

Suddenly came across Becoming 2 her the other day btw, the season2 finale, it turns out tv4 has been showing buffy LATE in the evenings (just over midnight) on fridays I think.

J'espère que ça ne dérange pas que je relance ce sujet. J'essaye de peu à peu rattraper mon retard et de lire tout ce qui a été posté sur le kitten board, ce qui s'avère être un travail de longue haleine vu le nombre de messages. Cela dit, je suis tombée sur celui-ci et je me suis dit que ça pourrait être intéressant de relancer le sujet pour trois raisons:



Tout d'abord, parce qu'il y a tellement de nouveaux kittens depuis la mort de Tara (dont moi), et c'es une bonne occasion de pouvoir constater que malgré la mort tragique de Tara, Willow et elle parviennent à rassembler des gens de tous les pays. Leur amour transcende les langues et les frontières, ce qui prouve une fois de plus à quel point il est puissant et merveilleux.



Ensuite, parce que plus que jamais, nos deux personages préférés ont besoin de tout le soutien que l'on peut leur apporter. C'est notre devoir de montrer à tout le monde (enfin... "tout le monde" se résumant à Joss et ME) que précisemment, ils ont blesser des gens de par le monde. Ce n'est pas parce que nous ne vivons pas aux Etats-Unis (et par conséquent, que nous n'influençons pas le taux d'audience), qu'il ne nous a pas fait du mal. Disons-le haut et fort...



Et enfin, parce que je trouvais ça amusant (ou disons plutôt ironique) de voir la manière dont Joss était décrit au début de cette discussion. On l'appelait Dieu, on disait de lui qu'il était le meilleur. On le vénérait littéralement. Et maintenant, il se permet de trahir notre confiance. Comment ose-t-il? C'en est fini de Dieu Joss, il ne reste plus que Joss le Salaud. Et il l'a bien mérité. Il a fait ça tout seul, personne ne l'a forcé... Enfin, vu que ce n'est pas la rant thread, je crois que je vais m'arrêter là...

I hope it's okay for me to bump this thread. I'm little by little trying to catch up with all the posts here which is a huge task since there are so many posts. Anyway, i saw this one, and i found it would be quite interesting to bump it for three reasons:



First, because there are so many new kittens since tara's death (including myself), so it's a nice opportunity to see that in spite of death, Willow and Tara manage to gather people all over the world. Their love just transcend languages and boundaries, and that just shows how powerful and beautiful it is.



Second, because more than even, our two girls need all the support they can get. We have to show everyone (well, everyone being Joss, and ME) that precisely, they did harm people all over the world. It's not because we don't live in the US (and consequently don't affect the ratings) that he didn't harm us. So let's just say it out loud.



And third, because i thought it was funny (not funny as in hilarious, more like an ironical funny) to see how people described Joss at the beginning of this thread. We used to call him God... We used to say he was the best... We worshipped him. And now, the guy just betrays us. How fair is that? No more Joss the God, just Joss the bastard. Well, i guess he got what he deserved! He did this all by himself, nobody was forcing him... Anyway, this is not the rant thread, so i guess i won't dwell on this subject....

hier kommt noch ein weiteres deutsches Kätzchen. Ist schon irgendwie lustig zur Abwechslung mal etwas in der eigenen Landessprache lesen und schreiben zu können. Die Idee gefällt mir sehr gut! Alle bisherigen Beiträge zeigen doch, daß Willow & Tara wahrhaftig international sind und Menschen überall auf der Welt erreichen können und in ihren Bann ziehen. Bei mir hat das jedenfalls auf Anhieb funktioniert. Willow mochte ich ja schon immer, aber als Tara dann in ihr Leben (und unseres) trat, war es einfach perfekt, ich meine, die beiden waren einfach das perfekte Paar. Und wie auch immer es mit BtVS weitergehen wird, so werden die zwei doch immer in all unsern Herzen weiterleben. Da bin ich mir absolut sicher. Dazu trägt dieses Forum hier natürlich in erheblichem Maße bei, an dieser Stelle nochmals vielen herzlichen Dank an die wunderbaren Moderatoren und allen die sich hier so eifrig engagieren. J'ai lu quelques anciens posts de ce thread, notamment les commentaires sur les voix françaises des personnages...

J'ai pas vu la saison 4 en VF, alors je peux pas dire, mais je supporte bien la voix française de Tara dans les saisons 5 et 6, même si j'ai la vague impression qu'ils ont fait exprès de lui donner une voix de camionneuse LOL vous trouvez pas? Genre je fume 2 paquets de clopes par jour

Mais bon, c'est clair que je préfère la voix d'Amber



Et Willow fait nunuche en VF, je trouve... Mais ça va encore



Quant à la traduction (et c'est mon métier ), je trouve que certaines blagues sont meilleures en VF, même s'il y a souvent des contre-sens...

Récemment, dans l'épisode 6x15, la réplique suivante de Buffy m'a fait hurler de rire (j'en ris encore) : "Sur ma casquette, y a une vache en mousse", alors qu'en VO j'avais pas tilté...



Un autre truc qui m'a fait sourire, c'est dans la saison 1 ou 2, Willow qui dit que l'amour, "ça doit être gai" ou un truc du genre avec "gai" Vive les doubles-sens!



Entre parenthèses, Série Club se décide enfin à passer Buffy en VOST, manque de bol c'est la fin de la saison et donc les épisodes les plus insupportables (je les ai regardés une fois et ça m'a suffi )

Mais il faut croire que les mails de protestations après le massacre de l'épisode musical ont porté leurs fruits! J'en reviens toujours pas, enfin je suis ravie d'avoir "Entropy" en VOST Et je ne fais pas d'arrêts sur image à la fin!

In Deutschland haben sie "Dagon's Sphere" mit "Dagons Angst" übersetzt, was offensichtlich total sinnlos ist



Die Serie ist ziemlich schwer zu synchronisieren wegen all der Wortspiele, neu erfundenen Wörter... Und auch recht schwer zu verstehen (im Vergleich zu Star Trek z.B.) Aber vielleicht geht das ja nur mir so

As for dubbing, nothing beats this:



In Germany they actually translated "Dagon's Sphere" as "Dagons Angst" which would be "Dagon's Fear" and obviously makes no sense at all



The show is actually very hard to dub because of all the puns, newly invented words... And it's rather hard to understand, too (compared to Star Trek for example). Or maybe it's just me

Non, malheureusement j'ai seulement écouté les VF des Saisons 1 et 2 (j'ai les DVDs; les seuls disponibles aux USA ) et de quelques épisodes de la Saison 3. A mon avis, une VF de "Once More With Feeling" serait vraiment insupportable!

No, unfortunately I have only listened to the French versions of Seasons 1 and 2 (these are the only DVDs currently available in the US ) and some episodes of Season 3. IMHO, a French version of "OMWF" would be really unacceptable.

Her trodde jeg at jeg var den eneste norske W/T shipperen! Buffy har jo vært borte så lenge fra norsk TV... Det er utrolig fint å se S4-episodene igjen, men samtidig så bittert når man vet hvordan ting kommer til å ende. Jeg er heldig nok til å ha noen venner i USA som sender meg wildfeeden på VCD, skjønt etter S6 vet jeg ikke om det har vært en velsignelse eller en forbannelse.



Here I thought I was the only Norwegian W/T shipper! Buffy's been gone so long from Norwegian television... It's nice to see S4 again, but also so bitter once you know how things will end. I'm lucky enough to have friends in USA that get me the wildfeeds on VCDs, but after S6 I don't know whether that's been a blessing or a curse.

Et OMWF a été entièrement doublé en français, je te raconte même pas le massacre! J'ai vite zappé, traumatisée que j'étais!

OMWF has been entirely dubbed in French (the songs too, all ot it!) and it's just terrible, pathetic even! I could watch it...

Luckily I have made me a VCD of the ep (which I downloaded off kazaa)
