Disclaimer: Mine! All mine!!!!
Summary: A young woman discovers the world of magick. (summary sucks)
Note: My first original story (that I’m posting anyway). I had this idea and I just had to right it. Don’t worry, I plan on finishing Empire of Broken Toys and Bring Me to Life.
As for the pairings, I’ve got a few in mind, but I’m not sure yet, so I shall eagerly await to see what you all want.
Prologue Boring. That was the one and only way to describe her day. All she’d done so far was lay there. Not that there was much else to do. Everyday was pretty much the same: sit and laze about.
It was fine to do for a few hours, but everyday was just overdoing it.
Unfortunately, there wasn’t all that much to do beside eat and sleep. Even worse, since Jasmine had arrived, she’d gotten no attention whatsoever. It was all ‘Jasmine this’ and ‘Jasmine that’. The whole thing disgusted her.
She wrinkled her nose in disgust.
Margali slowly got to her feet and took a long stretch. Wandering into the kitchen, she glanced around and sighed as she saw Jasmine eagerly digging into her food.
She felt herself smile when she saw Brooke enter. The older girl didn’t even glance her way. Margali felt her heart sing.
She felt invisible.
Sighing dejectedly, she curled herself up on the floor.
Brooke left.
Margali closed her eyes and went to sleep.

The mouse squeaked beneath her. She smiled as it tried to escape. It was amusing really. He tiny creature hadn’t yet realized that she was only playing. If she hadn’t been, it would already be dead.
Hearing someone enter the foyer, she quickly shoved the rodent back into its hole in the wall.
“Hey Margali.” The older man greeted her. He reached down and ruffled the hair on her head.
He poured some food into her bowl and set it on the floor.
The little bell on her collar jingled as she made her way toward it.
