Why?



Why am I crying all the time?

Why would I do anything to make sure you were mine?



Why does you face appear in my dreams.

And why am I haunted by the sound of your screams.



Why do I lie alone in bed at night?

Wishing you were there to hold me tight.



Why on Earth can’t I move on?

Why can’t I accept that you’re gone?



Why are you always at the back of my mind?

The answer to these questions, I just can’t find.



Why do you never pick up your phone?

Why did you have to leave me all alone?



Why were you taken from me? It just isn’t fair.

I’ll never feel your lips against mine; I’ll ever stroke your hair.



Why is the world such a hard place to live in?

Why do I always just want to give in?



Why do I wish it was me who was dead?

Why do I wish you were here in my bed.



Why can’t I get on with everyday things?

Why do have to endure the sorrow that death brings?



Why can’t I even answer the door?

It’s because you aren’t here anymore.



Why did these have to happen to me?

Why can’t I just be happy and carefree?



Why?



Because I miss you.

Love Is…



Love is picnics and slow romantic walks

Love is being perfectly comfortable even when neither of you talks.



Love is being on cloud nine.

Love is when you are bursting with happiness all the time.



Love is not caring about other things.

Love is enjoying the times that the other person brings.



Love is singing even though you don’t know why,

And for the first time in your life, being scared to die.



Love is feeling complete inside.

Love is looking at your partner, and bursting with pride.



Love is when you can laugh and cry,

And be unhappy if they’re not, even if you don’t know why.



Love is everything and everywhere.

I stare at you all the time.

I have fantasies in which you are only mine.



I see your face whenever I close my eyes,

These feelings I have for you, I really despise.



I can’t get you out of my head,

Sometimes I even wish I was dead.



I always want to speak your name,

But if I told you then things would never be the same.



I wish that I could be with you,

I wish that my fantasies were really true.



What did I do to deserve this pain?

I wish I could think of you as just a friend again.



I wish I could get you out of my mind,

Then maybe something better I would be able to find.



However, I’ll never have my wishes come true.

And it’s all because I’m obsessed with you.

I want to be near you al the time,

I want to scream form the rooftops that you are mine.



You make me feel more than I could ever describe,

These feelings for you, I just can’t hide.



You make my heart sore and my pulse race,

Just by existing you make the world a better place.



I would do anything for you,

And for our love I’ll always be true.



You are my everything, and forever you will be,

I need you so much, but do you need me?



I’ll never leave you all alone,

And I never want to be without you, on my own.



You make my life worthwhile,

I feel complete, just when you smile.

Addicted To You



I follow you where-ever you go,

Everything about you, I just have to know.



Hearing your name is music to my ears,

And seeing you in pain reduces me to tears.



My life is lived only for you

Instead of each being one, why can’t we be two?



Your happiness means more to me,

Than anything that I could ever hope to be.



Why won’t you just be mine?

To name all the things I love about you, there’s not enough time.



I want you more than anyone else could,

If I asked you to kiss me I don’t think you would



I wish I could forget about you and I,

But the truth is I won’t be free from you until I die.



I’m just so addicted to you.

I just can’t get rid of this pain.

But at least now, of this life you are free.

I want you with me, no matter where we go,

I love you more than I’ll ever be able to show.



I need you with me now and always,

I want to be with you until the end of days.



Death may separate us; but not our love.

We fit together like a hand into a glove.



We need to stop hiding what we feel,

And for once, let our love be truly real.

Your Eyes



Your eyes are the softest shade of blue,

They let me know that what you’re saying is true.



Your eyes sometimes look as though they’re on fire,

But it’s only when you are fuelled by desire.



Your eyes sparkle and shine,

When I tell you that you are only mine.



When your eyes begin to cry,

I feel as though I want to die.



Your eyes smile when I’m around,

And when you are nervous they shift to the ground.



Your eyes are able to talk to me.

And when I look deep into them, I feel free.



I miss your eyes whenever you blink.

And when you give me ‘that look’, I can hardly even think.



I love your eyes, and everything they do.

But I’ll never love them as much as I love you.

Her



What’s her name? I have to know.

These feelings for her will continue to grow.



She’s so amazing, I wish she was mine.

I bet that even when she’s sleeping, her eyes continue to shine.



I wish I could at least be her friend.

Or that these heart-wrenching feelings would come to an end.



She doesn’t even look at me.

I wish she was just able to see.



I’d do anything for her, I’d even die.

When she ignored me, I was too distraught to cry.



The pain is so bad when she looks away.

I wish that with me, she would forever stay.



I saw her today with that…guy.

And while I’d do anything to impress her, he doesn’t even try.



He’s just going to use her, then get on with his life.

But that doesn’t stop the pain hurting like a knife.



If I could kiss her, I’d die happy and proud.

But then again, I have those feelings whenever she’s around.



When will she be able to see?

That no-one could ever love her as much as me.

When you leave, I feel like I’m gone too.

How am I supposed to go on without you?



I feel so numb, I can’t even cry.

Sometimes I want to just curl up and die.



This life is worthless without you around.

I can’t see anything without you, or hear any sound.



I loved you so much; you should be here with me.

So that we could live the life we said we would; happy and free.



Time has stopped since you went away.

I don’t even know the date, or the day.



What were the last words I spoke to you?

I hope with all of my heart, that they were ‘I love you.’

Trapped



I hate my life, the way it is now.

Things could improve, but I wish I knew how.





I shouldn’t be here, I don’t want to be.

I want to travel and see the world, and finally feel free.



Everyone says that things will get better.

I know they will, when I’m away from this place forever.



Sometimes I wish that I was dead.

But then I think there’s something wrong with my head.



Sometimes I feel like screaming so loud.

But that would be silly, because there’s never anyone around.



I wish I could live the way that I want to.

And fine something new and exciting to do.



I wish that I didn’t feel,

That my life just now isn’t real.



This can’t be my life, it’s so bad.

What happened to the good life that I had?



Why do I do what everyone else thinks I should?

I’d leave them all right now if I could.



I’m leaving here as soon as I can,

But until then I just have to accept what I am.



I’m Trapped.

Why do you leave me so sad?

Why do you have to drive me mad?



I hate what you’ve done to me…what I’ve become.

Just tell me what are the bad things I’m supposed to have done?



Why do I think of you day after day?

Will my feelings for you ever go away?



When will I be able to carry on?

When will I be able to stop singing our song?



I hate this, I’m always so sad.

You messed me up, really bad.



I hope you’re happy now.

You’re over me so quickly, I’m wondering how.



How can you be over me when you’re my everything?

You’re the only one who can make my heart sing.



You’re all I want, all I need.

My heart, for you, continues to bleed.



Nothing will ever be as complicated as you.

But you’ve left me, and now we’re through.



I get through it day by day.

Words aren’t necessary.

Everything’s gone black.



I can’t take the time back.

I can’t make everything right.



This is worse than I ever thought.

And there nothing I can do to change it.



It cuts me up all the time.

It makes me shout and cry and scream.



I want to make it all stop.

I want things back to the way they were.



This is hard for me to do.

I want to make it easy, but how?



Can I make things better?

Hey whitewiccan, I just wanted to pop and let you know that I’m really enjoying reading all your poetry. One of your earlier poems, ‘Addicted to You’ was really great and I loved reading that one, I could totally relate. ‘Trapped’ was amazing too, and I really do think that ‘I Love You’ is my favorite poem of yours.
