Guru's Kiddie Korner

Ok, as i mentioned, i have an English assignment in which i have to write a child's book, i've chosen to do poetry.



Now, i could really post this in my other thread, feel free to repost if you want to, but i thought that i'd have this little 'Kiddie Korner'.



So,the class i was with was doing limericks today and...



There was once a rather ill-fated chicken

Who had an annoying habit of clickin'

He was all out of luck

Seemed he couldn't cluck

What a poor confused little chicken!

And the other limerick i came up with today. U.C.E. is the short version of my uni's name



There once were two lads from the U.C.E.

Who were hoping for a class in year three

But they got put with year two

And didn't know what to do

WHen the kids chased them both up a tree!

Ok, this is a nother poem inspired by a day with the kids...and poor old Humpty.



Humpty Dumpty sat on a car

Humpty Dumpty didn't get very far

He ate a banana

And slipped on the peel!

My! How must Humpty feel?
