For Chris...

Untitled

you said you never leave me alone,

you said that you'd always be here,

you'd always watch over me,

always be here to comfort me,

now your gone and i don't know what to do,

comforts gone and i don't know what to do,

i feel so lost with no direction,

everything seems to gloss over and become one,

the lines in which i used to take comfort have melted together,

the rule which have kept order are distroyed,

everything is coming apart,

the fabrics which always seemed so strong are now found weak,

every stitch are comign apart

your eyes which always said always comforted me are gone,

i have nothing now,

just a statue that once comforted me,

and a long time friend gone.

You know how badly I want you,

You try to act like its not there,

There so much I could show you.

Your so called 'simple life' isn't working out anymore is it?

You pushed me away saying you wouldn't have it,

Called me names and said you hated me.

I can't help but still be in love with you.

These dreams I have tell me so much,

But your eyes tell me so much more.

Tell me about a little girl, so scared,

Completely lost,

Looking for love and acceptance.

I can't say it will be easy,

Cause I know it won't.

Everything I have to offer is yours.

I met the angel of death last night,

We talked for a long time,

You may want to ask why I am still hear,

Listen up...



She came to me and awoke me from my slumber. She was beautiful. Nothing at all like I had ever imagined. She asked me why I was so afraid of her, death. I couldn't give her a straight answer. 'I guess its my lack of faith,' I said. 'And the lack of knowledge of what lays after.' We talked for a long time after and she finally made me realize something...



What do you think of when you think of life?

Death.

What do you think of when you think of death?

The grand finale, a glorious end.

Do you fear death?

No.

Why not?

For death isn't something you can stop.

Its an end to all pain.

It'll happen.

I can't help that.

What if it happens tomorrow?

Thats what scares me most of all.

The uncertainty?

No, the proof that I have done nothing.

In all this time I've spend breathing, seeing, and feeling,

I have yet to do anything in this time before my end.

So I vow to take this time and run with it.

I vow to take chances and not be so scared....



Do you fear death?

No.

Do you fear life.

Yes.

How can you sit there?

With that smile on your face.

You can even begin to imagion how much hurt you constantly put me through.

If its not by your hand its by your words.

I know you didn't want my and I'm just another little mistake.

If I could have my way I would've taken the easy way out.

I would've have left long ago if I wasn't afraid.

These scares on my wrist only tell half the story.

While the bruises you leave tell the other.

Ask me why I won't let a man touch me.

And why I crawl away from you.

Look deep into my brown eyes and you'll see the truth.

You'll see the lack of everything there.

I never show the true depth of emotion I mean to.



My blood ruins red just as your does.

I have your eyes.

You skin.

Hell even your nose.

I look at myself in disgust that I have you in me.

I want to tear myself apart to get you out.

You call yourself my family.

You don't care for me or notice me.

If you did you'd notice the blood stains on my sheets.

The way I treat myself.

The way I never say 'I love you'.

The way I'm glad when your gone.

And the way I constantly search for ways to dull the pain from your hate.
