I just found this on Netflix and got pretty caught up in it immediately. I found the Cat/Frankie angst believable after they explained more of it, that they were best friends for years before they were lovers. That kind of connection can go deep, so I can understand Cat's devastation at what Frankie did to her 2 years earlier, and not handling it well when she just shows up again. But I didn't feel the connection between Cat and her new woman. It just felt too fast to me (flashbacks to the badness of Joss and ME), and boom, they're living together when Cat is still mentally and emotionally messed up because of Frankie.
I really liked Tess in S1, quirky, clumsy and lovable. Even though things were different in S2, I still liked Tess.
Although she has some obvious problems, I liked Frankie and found her character hot, even though she's a snatch hound, but I think most, if not all of her actions or reactions were because she didn't think she could have Cat again. And her "uncle" needs some serious bitch slapping for what he did to her. But that accent, oh boy, and the sexy smile was the best I've seen since Tara's crooked one, just different because of the different types of characters.
I was disappointed in S2, how some characters left and were never mentioned, so we have no clue what happened with them. Not crazy about the new characters that were brought in or old ones that were made main characters. And yeah, I knew someone was going to die, just didn't know who or when, and when it happened it was so graphic that it made me feel sick. I just wish they would quit killing off characters for ratings. There has to be a better way. Thank God for the Kittenboard.
Curious as to whether any word on a season 3, and if so, hope to see improvement over S2.
