I love this show. Patricia plays the part really well. I also adore the middle kid, she's so cute. The storylines are always good, with some cool twists, and my girlfriend and I usually spend the whole episode trying to figure out what will happen (usually wrong, sometimes right).

How odd, I thought I had already posted about the new season, but I guess not. Saw the third episode just now and it was fascinating. The dreaming you are awake just having dreamt story was creepy, enough to drive anyone bonkers. It was a sort of feel good episode, eventhough the fate of the mother was tragic.

By and large I am still liking Medium quite a bit. The first couple eps were neat and everyone has been doing a good job so far, but the last one where she thought she was in a mental institution wasn't great. It just wasn't that interesting or engaging at the beginning, though to their credit, as soon as she saw the film of the previous woman saying she was Alison Dubois the ep improved quite a bit. It took a half hour to get interesting, but once there had a nice ending. Still the weakest ep this season, but at least they are trying to be imaginative and throw a few twists out there.

This particular story has been done in many other shows in the past of course, but it was sufficiently different to interest me. For a while like Alison I was not sure whether she had woken up, not even when Joe pinched her in the butt. I did miss a confrontation with the psychiatrist who tortured, excuse me, treated this woman in the past. It would have meant some belated justice for her, though I know that is not what the story was about. She made her sacrifice willingly for her daughter and she must have known the end result, which is all that mattered to her.

Add me to the list of those really liking this show.
Did anyone else notice that this past ep was directed by Arliss Howard, who played Captain Push in the 2 preceding (I think) eps?
I also thought it was cool that the woman Alison was dreaming about was Natasha Gregson Wagner, daughter of the late Natalie Wood.

I liked this episode, I do like the courtroom drama´s on occasion. I did find a few things very bothersome about this episode though (other than the sleazy ugly bald assistent da having a hot girlfriend). The da went for the win instead of justice, to put a killer behind bars I can understand some creative moves, but he could have won his case in a fair new trial. To let his corrupt law breaking assistent and that laywer but most importantly that assistent da´s girlfriend, who passes on confidential client information to be used to destroy them in the stand, go free seems reprehensible to me. Maybe I am left to hope that while we did not see it, that woman especially got her punishment, but I doubt it. Her actions were the most unforgivable of all and she should be locked up and forever kicked out of her job for it and the roommate and teammate should be very well compensated.

Funny, I didn't even stop to think about that girl G, I was so happy to see that defence attorney get stomped on again. I like that they have these recurring characters which makes sense in a city that isn't a huge community like New York, there are only going to be so many top defense lawyers. Not that he will be one of those much longer if he keeps coming up against Ms. Dubois. I think that the way they dealt with the spy in their midst was pretty authentic, the DA will always have an eye on the main prize which is going to be convicting the main criminal, in this case the murderer. But yeah, it would be nice to have seen some penalty inflicted on that girl as well.

The show continues to be solid entertainment week after week, not quite good enough to be a show wheret I really anticipate what's going to happen each week, but more than good enough to ensure that I never miss it. The mysteries are still a little uneven, but the family material is always terrific. I thought that sleepwalking ep from a week or tow back was particularly good.

I started watching this show a month or two ago and am totally loving it. I've noticed that the people I mention it to either really like it or really do not like it. Some say that Patricia Arquette's haircut bothers them - it bothered me at first too, but it's grown on me. (That's a silly thing to focus on anyway.)

I love the interplay between her family, and the kids, and her husband especially. I also love it that Patricia Arquette looks like a real person. Wow, talk about coincidence, I just looked her up on IMDB and the quote on her biography page was: "I wanted to play a woman who looks normal. It's important for me to be real."

I am still loving this show quite a bit. There are a few things that bug me, but a rare show it is that does not have anything buggable. One thing that I like, is that I can watch this show and miss an episode and not be out of the loop as to what is going on. Of course I have never missed an episode, but I could if I wanted to.

The Phoenix police should seek out Allison DuBois to help with this serial killer situation.

Ick. I don´t believe that is his real hair, it would make him to easy to recognize surely. I bet he wears a wig when he preys on victims.
I am forever torn about psychic stories, clearly there are a whole hell of a lot wackos out there feeding on the dispair of others, but I also hear about examples when I´m almost convinced that yeah, maybe there are people with special senses like that. I´d have to see it for myself to ever really believe it though and I wish I could, it surely would be interesting.

Edited: well duh, so far for me trying to sound clever, read articles before posting about them would be smart next time. Well, at least I am not the only one who thinks that´s a wig.
