Aeon Flux

Doesn't anyone have anything to say about this movie ?

Well, I watched the movie on Thursday which was the premiere. I went in rather sceptically. I've not seen the anime or read the books. But i've seen a few pages of the book before.

The show seems to turn the comic into reality pretty well. Charlize Theron was just :bow the clothes you see her in just enhances her body waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better. Skin Tight.

I
think it's a pretty good comic-to-movie adaptation. My favourite part is where bullets are flying everywhere nonstop and she just manages to avoid all of them, while the guy (goodchild) seems to be getting shot with every duck he seems making :))
Anyway, this film probably won't get nominated for any awards. Charlize Theron is beautiful there and maybe this character is a bit out of her usual but I think Angelina Jolie might have done a better job of the role. I might be partial to AJ.
She's the most amazing girl in the whole world. She's the only girl who makes my heart beat faster and slower at the same time. When I'm not with her, I'm not living. I'm not existing until I can hold her in my arms again.

I saw Aeon Flux over the weekend. It's a fun movie, definitely worth seeing. It didn't exactly pose an acting challenge for Charlize, but hey, it's an action film, and she looks great.

I saw Charlize on the View a couple days ago. One of them asked Chalize if it was true that she and her boyfriend, Stuart Townsend, would not get married until gays and lesbians were allowed to legally marry? She said that wasn't the main reason, marriage just isn't for them at this point, but she thinks it's crazy that gay folks can't marry.

At the end of the program the young blond host (whose name I do not recall) was thanking Charlize for being on the show and started going on about how gorgeous she is, how nice she is, etc. Then the dialogue went something like this:

Charlize: Are you flirting with me?

Blond: Yes! We'll get married. In Aeon Flux 2!

Meredith Viera: Don't you remember her as a lesbian? I wouldn't do that if I were you. Monster!

Isn't the blonde the one that's the screaming Republican? I wonder if Charlize tried to yank her chain a little on that one. :lol

I saw the show a lot when it was on MTV and was a fan. I'm glad to see it's getting decent Kitten reviews thus far. It wasn't pre-released for critics to review which made me wary that it was going to be a real stinker. Guess I'll check it out.

Yes, the blond is a staunch Repulican, but she has mentioned having gay friends.

And, I could be biased here, but if anyone could "change" a hetero woman it could well be Charlize Theron (well, her and Angelina Jolie).

M.C. was fine. He used an American accent for this role. This movie didn't really push anyone's acting skills, but he did well and he looked good.

And yes, it is fun seeing the old Xena folks poping up when you least expect them.

What's up with this movie? I was really dying to see it, being a big fan of the cartoon when it was on MTV back in the day...but it seems like I blinked and it wasn't in the theater any more...did it suck or something? I am really bumming that I missed it :happy

Living in medium-sized town, I was disappointed when my theatre didn't even get it here. :sob This was a movie I was really interested in seeing.
...guess I'll have to be patient and wait for the DVD *sigh*
