Salem Witch Trials, koala bears, SpongeBob: what's on TV and at the movies!

Spaced

This has been mentioned a few times in the "Shaun of the dead" thread, so I thought it deserved a thread of it's own.

Spaced is the greatest british sitcom that has been made for some time now, and it's a great shame that Simon Pegg has said that he doesn't want to make any more seires.

The series is about Tim Bisley and Daisy Steiner, who pretend to be a couple in order to get an apartment.

The other characters are Mike, a would be soldier who was thrown out of the territorial army after stealing a tank and trying to invade paris, Twist, Daisy's friend who works in the "fashion industry", Brian, a conceptual artist who lives in the flat below, and Marsha, the landlady.

Oh and there's also Marsha's daughter Amber, who's often heard but never seen.

It is often full of references to films and other TV series and when watching it I'm generally like :lmao

There ARE "Spaced" fans here! (I'd not seen the 'SotD' thread - bad me :punish ).

Yay!! I love this show and am sooo looking forward to seeing 'SotD' cos these guys rock :banana

"Spaced" is just fabulous entertainment - particularly for those with a love for films/cult TV.

I was reading on the "Spaced" website that they originally put a 3 series life span limit on the show. Leaves no room for it going stale I guess - as can sometimes happen when a show goes on and on...:whistle . Would be great to see a final third series though. Still, if it never happens I'll be more than content watching the 'Spaced' DVDs over and over and over and, well, you get the idea....:D

Yes! Spaced rules! Okay, I don't have too much more to say than that...

I always find it difficult to summon enough hyperbole to do justice to this series. None of my friends understand why I like it so much, but they're all idiots anyway.

Everybody should see this, it's brilliant, fantastic, the funniest thing you'll ever see, fabulous, really rather sexy and fucking brilliant. Etc. The DVDs have been in the shops for ages. It's a crime if you don't buy them.

I find it amusing that there's a Spaced quote for every occasion. Try it out.
