Hello San Francisco area Kittens!.

Mila Drumke is doing a Benefit Performance for Zen Hospice Project on Friday December 8th. http://www.zenhospice.org/index.htm

Mila is the singer/songwriter responsible for "Someone" (the 'show me a window...' song from Go Fish). To refresh your memory: http://littlepro.com/sounds/someone.mp3

MIla is *also* the older sister of a former college schoolmate of mine (and amazing person), Danielle Drumke http://www.danielledrumke.com/. Sadly, Danielle died of a brain tumor 6/16/2002, just shy of her 29th birthday. Her last days were spent @ the Zen Hospice Center where she was lovingly and wonderfully cared for. It is a great cause, and Mila is a great singer. I hope you'll check it out.

An acoustic concert to benefit Zen Hospice Project
Mila Drumke http://littlepro.com/ performs songs from Radiate
with Bryan Bowman http://collectiveamnesia.com and Noah Shenker
Friday, Dec. 8
Reception at 7 pm; performance at 8 pm
Zen Hospice Guest House
273 Page Street
San Francisco, CA

Refreshments will be provided by Miette , the European-style patisserie famous in SF for their fusion of complex French baking techniques and American functionality. There will also be a silent auction of gourmet foodstuffs (perfect for holiday gifts), generously donated by Ferry Building vendors.

Seating is limited, so be sure to reserve a space: mail@zenhospice.org
Directions: http://zenhospice.org/13_directions/directions.htm

The performance and reception are to benefit Zen Hospice Project, which is currently trying to raise funds to renovate and reopen its 6-room guest house to California residents in need of hospice care.

Zen Hospice's guest house was closed shortly after Danielle passed away there in June 2001. If you are in or near San Francisco, I hope you will be able to go. If not, I hope you'll pass this email along to anyone you know in the area who may be interested in attending.

Warmly,

Mila

Most Auspicious Administrators: I hope this is the right place to post this, if not please accept my deepest blush and move this wherever it ought to be?
