Purple willow grass, aloe, jade, snap dragons, bird of paradise, red banana, foxglove and a fledgling cannabis sativa plant just for kicks and giggles.

ETA: smoke - yes; color - kinda psychodelic; tipsy - last Saturday

Where was your last vacation?

Comedy. Or drama. I go where the cute girls are, really...

What your favourite line from a film?

In scream, Neve Campbell's character says something like "big breasted girls who are always running up the stairs when they should be running out the front door, it's insulting"

Sigh, Neve Campbell. Be still my beating... whatever it it that's beating because I'm not sure it's my heart.

If you ran away, where would you run to?

Booze. Lots and lots of booze. Not so much anymore. Now I fill a notebook with my thoughts then I burn it.

Ooph. Umm... a variety of ways. Alcohol (that is neither a confession nor an endorsement), sobbing fits, silence, overwork, obsessions, vague attempts at therapy, walking, a heavy bag (punching bag), my dog, drawing, writing, yet more work, and most especially patience. I don't think it ever goes away, but things change slowly. The ability to think more clearly returned a bit for me - I spent a year feeling completely drained, stupid and slow. I needed a bit of patience to wait that out and to forgive myself for being so foggy and miserable.
I also was fortunate enough to have an old friend to fall back on in the early, intense periods of despair and to discover a couple new friends as I moved in to that change stuff I mentioned before. So yeah, there is my digest of a very non-linear process. Ongoing.

ETA: aargh. Del beat me to that answer, but I like it so I'm leaving it. New answer: Financially successful farmer. Yes, that is unlikely, but you said "dream"...

My questions: Could you be attracted to someone who looks a great deal like yourself, or have you ever looked in the mirror and been attracted to what you see?

I don't think I could be attracted to anyone that looks like me... but then again, I guess I can't say for sure, because attraction's a funny creature sometimes.

Do you have any animals?

I currently have 2 cats. Nuisance who has been the only constant in my life for the last 14 years and Rio. I've recently given up a bearded dragon and cockatiel.

What has been the one constant thing in your life?

I hit a stone wall in my car, instead of stopping I went airborne and flipped it end to end twice (I know because my best friend saw the whole thing in his rearview mirror) I wasn't wearing a seatbelt either...totalled the car but all I got out of it was a broken nose

Who was your first crush? And how old were you at the time?

Drew Barrymore, the first time I saw ET, I think I was about 6 at the time.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be & why?

i'd live everywhere, 'cause not one place has everything.

How did you ask someone out for the first time? (as in you were a virgin in the asking out business)

It was with someone who I had flirted around the issue with for a couple years, starting even before I came out. We were discussing whether it would work or not if we went out with each other, what were the right reasons to go out etc. I said something very unromantic like "we should give it a try?"

Who is your favorite actress/actor?

A guinea pig called Marmaduke when I was 8. I loved that little thing...

What are you most looking forward to tomorrow?

Three things if I am allowed to be that greedy.

Meeting up with some friends I haven't seen for a year

Meeting up with some friends I haven't seen for a week (which can feel like just as long)

Sleeping in my own bed - Just to clarify that doesn't make me a dirty stop out who has been sleeping in someone elses bed (altough I wouldn't say no, now I sound despeate, mental note take foot out of mouth) I work away from home and only get back once a week and not always to sleep so my own bed is a luxury.

Who do you turn to in times of need?

if it's something crush related, then this net guy or my cousin, whomever i see first.
if it's study related, my cousin.

Do you drink straight from a can (of not beer) or sip from a straw?

Soda from a can usually unless I'm feeling the need to be "proper", if the beer comes in a can, it gets poured in a glass. But with beer, I'm take it like a women, bottle...no glass.

How many times can you honestly say you were in love?

Twice. Infatuated several times, settled for second best several times, in love only twice. Once when I was 17, and now.

If you could do any one thing fantastically well, what would it be (other than anything you do well now)?

I wish I could draw, or paint, or make stuff with my hands. Or write fiction. Something really creative. Anything would do :aww

What is/was your favourite school subject? Why?

Creative textiles - because I'm happiest when I have a needle in my hand and I'm doing something creative with it - nerdish I know, but I love to sew, embroider, knit, weave - and I love the tactile nature of fabrics - silks and satins and velvets.....

Have you ever danced in the rain?

When I was in high school, it was physics. I was and still am fascinated by quantum theory - it really does seem to imply that there are endless possibilities. In early college it was molecular biology - the math of college physics frustrated me and I didn't get it, but learning about DNA and gene expression seemed to me to be unlocking the secrets of life. [/dramatic tone].

If you could live rent-free for a year, free food, $50,000 annual stipend to do with as you pleased, but you had to do it in a nudist colony and be nude most or all of the time with other people around and all, would you do it?

Oh wow, now thats a fun question...

I think I'd go and get a couple of those games/movies/CDs/books I always wanted but couldnt buy lol. And then, dunno get a free ride to wherever I feel like going and turning visible again at the other end of the world, LOL!

What super-power would you want to have (sorry if that was already asked, didnt read all the thread lol), and what would you use it for?
