Unfortunatly, we are.



I just got a message from Aaron (tarababy77) for those of you who know him, you know he's been deployed once.



Well, Ole' Uncle Sam just called on our Soldier Boy again.



He should be back in a few weeks.



I don't know if he'll have internet, but hopefully he'll still be able to check in every few days.



Anyway, lets all hope Soldier Boy can watch his back.

Rei, please tell Aaron that he's in my prayers. I hope that his latest trip to the desert will indeed be short-term, and that he'll be home safely soon, and in one piece.



A lot of folks, regular military and reservists, are being sent back, or having their time in the Middle East extended beyond their promised return date. (My uncle is subject to being sent back to the war until this August. We're all hoping that he will not have to be redeployed.)



This war has obviously been devastating for all involved, whether they be American or Iraqi, and I don't see an end to the carnage any time soon.

I think you mean the General support thread for those affected by war, like the title says it´s a general support thread for anyone and not just for this war. Indeed, Aaron is the most directly affected here and a thread just for him is the least we can do to offer him our moral support.

From Thespia to whom Wiccans would prey to for protection to the "one God" that catholics like myself believe in i think we've covered them all so Aaron should be safe.



Here's hoping tha he comes back safe from this unjust war, i may not agree with this war seeing as the reasons we went to war (namely the WMDs) do not exist but i respect all the soldiers out there doing their duty. Here's hoping Bush and Blair get voted out at the end of their respective terms.

Thanks tons guys.... I am well. Of course I am not having any fun, but I am will. This time I'm not allowed to discuss where I am, sorry. 4 more days to go and I will be back on a plane to the states. I am so frilly hecking tired of deploying. But hey, I signed up for this and what the heck, it gives me a chance to do my job!!! Anyhoo, I don't have internet in the middle of NOWHERE but I have to thank someone for allowing me the ability to get on here, heehee (THANK YOU NEXTEL!!!) so I got to go.
