Yes, I have read this most excellent book, during a very trying and emotional time for me, I might add. It served to give me a temporary escape from the pain and some form of hope at a time when I had otherwise lost all faith in humanity.

TPBM sometimes wonders if all of her/his efforts are worth the trouble.

Well...that's not something I have done...but my wife has. Tori once quit a very lucrative corporate job after many years there, all in the pursuit of happiness.... (it didn't end well...lets just say credit card debt...Credit cards are evil! Down with the establishment!)

It's not so much that I feel the world is leaving me behind as it is that time is just racing by too quickly. There never seems to be enough time to get done the things I want and need to get done. Plus a healthy dose of stopping to smell the roses every once in a while is necessary for me as a human, but I haven't had time for that in a long time. I'm seriously considering asking for less hours at work, because it is slowly killing my soul, and having a profound negative effect on my physical health as well. I make more than enough money, but I NEED my time alone.

TPBM relieves stress through a creative outlet.

That would be me, although it's not just one outlet, it's about five.... or more. I write, paint, draw, make avatars or wallpapers, it seems to help me sort things out in my head even thought I'm concentrating on what I'm creating. :-D

TPBM loves the television show Little Britain.

Yes, I do, but that's only because I live in Texas, and winter is the only season where it's not miserably hot. Every now and then temperatures approach freezing, but winter here is usually in the 60s and 70s F.

TPBM has recently gotten back in contact with an old school friend. (I have, just today. My lovely girlfriend found him on MySpace for me. It seems he had recently come across old pics of me, and had been thinking about me too. I quickly sent him an email. I hadn't seen or spoken to him since '96, and I always thought of him like a brother. It is so nice to be back in contact with him. :-D )

C'est moi! It's actually been just about 3 years that we hadn't spoken, but it was for weird reasons not related to her and my friendship, so when I was in her hometown a few weeks ago I called her up and it was lovely to reconnect.

Not me, but my friend. Someone resigned from their office, and the work load was transferred to her. Her boss kept on telling her that it's just temporary, until they've able to hire a new one. It had been two months now.

TPBM would rather be hurt, than hurt her love ones :x

Oooo me! Me! I do!

Every year for both Christmas and my birthday at least one person will get me a teddbear, so my collection is huge, I just can't bring myself to get rid of any.

TPBM has just had a bath.

My hair is still wet from my shower, which isn't a bath as SUCH, but I often have baths on the weekend, just not this weekend. I hope that counts!

TPBM still loves to eat Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup even though they are an adult.

That'll be me! :applause

I know it's a stupid question but, just out of curiosity, is Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup just for kids? :-D Well, I'm not from the States and I was wondering why Sally wrote "even though they are an adult"?

Well, I've just had a warm 2 hour bath too, and my hair's still wet :-D
