My wife is so good/fast playing card games, doing word puzzles, etc. to the point where I feel like a complete idiot, lol. But I kick her ass in trivia games. :devil :grin

So, I just saw a post in Kisses and Gay Love (the kittenboard's fb group) of a Buffy opening set to the Charmed theme, and watching the video made me want to watch Charmed for the first time in years. To my delight I found it's on Netflix, and starting watching the first episode-- but the theme is different! I'm hoping it's just the one episode, cause this is just wrong!

I have been catching up on Charmed as well and the orginal theme was different than most of us remember. I think it switchs at season 3 maybe 2. Enjoy!

The theme music doens't change. I completed all 8 seasons on Netflix. Believe me I was like wtf??? All is forgiven though cos I never got tired of watching Phoebe. :luv I had it bad for Prue until she croaked.

Today I just scared myself three quarters to death watching Pewdiepie and Tobusucs the youtubers play The Witch's House. Like holy crap.

On Netflix, Charmed has an instrumental theme different to the original "because the music license to use the original theme song had expired and it was deemed too expensive to extend the license."

Thanks for the info, but I must admit I find this immensely depressing!

As do I. I love the original theme, as evident by the fact that it's the Text Alert ring tone on my phone :/

Sharing a suite-style bathroom with another dormroom instead of having a communal bathroom is great... until the girl you share it with forgets to unlock your side then leaves for the whole f*ing weekend.

Really glad now that I keep my toothbrush in my room...

This is a random moment gone by, but I remembered it given the day that's in it.

When I was in Elementary School (in Ireland, not the US), in the week leading up to Father's Day, I was taken to another room to do a 'special' art project while everyone else made Father's Day cards because I was the only one who didn't have a father. In the whole school.

Laragh...that makes me sad. :sob

My Random Moment...

Earlier this evening a green tree frog jumped on my face when I opened the back door to let the dogs out. I'm not frog phobic at all, but needless to say...it scared the shit out of me, lol.

If it means anything, for Fathers day in the 3rd grade a brought in three very graphic photos my father had taken while in VietNam of a dead VietCong. Yeah..I knew how to bring a school to a completye f-ing halt those days.. Maybe you missed whatever version of me traumatizing the rest of the class while you drew some flowers.

I just realized today that though I've been here lurking the whole time, my last post was just under 2 years ago. Literally 1 month and 4 days away from the 2 year mark. How did I miss that?

I woke up at 5:05pm today. I literally don't know if I've ever woken up that late, even in my teens when I could sleep 14 hours straight if I didn't set an alarm.

Thank you so much!

OT: Its amazing how one person can be so upset and yet so happy with a softball team at the same time. Akron lost the game last night, but had Charlotte Morgan as a starter.

So this morning I was heading to work for a meeting. I decided to do the drive through at Sonic.
In front of me was a car driven a by a balding guy with an arms of Tatoos.
He handed back his shake to the girl, and I could tell by his gesturing he was berating her.
She gave him a new shake, and he did it again and proceeding to berate her .
I got out of my car, walked up to him and suggested in strong terms that he cease bothering her, and move on
He replied some suggestion for me that were anatomically unlikely
we continued this verbal exchange for a few more volleys, when he started to climb out of his car and I hit him in the face,
He blinked, looked shocked, shut the door and drove off.
The girl at the drive thru thanked me for helping her,
and that's why I was late to the meeting.

I wear a bowtie, but I don't wear it to work. When I got off work today (like most days), one of the first things I did was put my bowtie on. An hour later I laid down for a nap, and I remember thinking about taking it off and deciding not to. I woke up about an hour ago, and as soon as I was awake I called my best friend; we just got off the phone, and I realized I'm not wearing my bowtie. It's sitting where I put it when I take it off, so I know it didn't fall off while I was sleeping. Did I change my mind before I laid down and take it off? Did I for some reason take it off while on the phone and forget about it? Did it arrive there by magic? I have absolutely no clue.

The problem with studying science/health is learning about all the horrible things in my diet, and even worse trying to fix them. I am currently eating mac & cheese made with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, and I can soooo believe it's not butter. :happy

Yesterday, my uber-boss decided that the other student worker and I were too culturally-challenged and gave us a pop culture quiz in an attempt to educate us. (In other words he couldn't think of any tasks to assign us and didn't want to work himself.) I won by two points, but I don't know whether to be happy I won or sad that this poor kid knows even less about pop culture than I do.

My daughter (13) has her own special language, kinda like "twin speak," but without the twin. When she was little, she used to say wacky things that only made sense to my wife and I. Today she was trying to decide on a backpack for school and said she was, "on the bridge." She still calls salad dressing "salad sauce" and up until recently, called Panera Bread "broccoli soup" or "Panana."

I always have trouble talking to people, not because I stutter or stammer, but my brain just ends up shutting off halfway through a sentence and then I have to remember what the rest of the sentence is, or if I'm asking a question I have to remember what I'm asking for. Usually it end up going like: "Where is the.... the... the..." various hand motions "the...the you know! The thing." more hand motions " "the remote!?"
I don't always wonder what it would be like if everything in the world was box shaped, but when I do I play Minecraft.
