If you see a 15 year old biy standing in his grandparents's kitchen askibg where to find a bowl and spoon you know he has never emotied the dishwasher or set the table. Do you know why? Because in that family tge mwn don't do any kitchen work. I don't see that they do anything but why eould yiu train a young man like that?

How narcissistic does an athlete have to be to believe God is rooting for then to win?

Every time someone says that, Jordan rolls her eyes and sums it up like this... "Mom, if there is a God, doesn't he have more important things to worry about? You know like starving kids or something? Why do they say that? It's just dumb."

I don't even mind the thought that God has nothing better to do because if God exists then his/her consciousness is vast enough to encompass both taking care of starving kids AND Olympic athletes. My beef is really with the idea that God wants one competitor to win which was what this skeet shooter from North Texas (with a dislocated shoulder or maybe elbow) said. I'm happy for them to say that they are grateful to God or Jesus or whatever or that they know God's power allowed them to do their best. I just object to the idea that God plays favorites.

Today I pulled a pool skimmer out to empty it and taking up residence was about a dozen medium to large wolf spiders. I screamed like a 5 yr old girl and threw it about twenty feet across the backyard. Arachnophobia? Yes please!

I deactivated most of my social network accounts.

I don't really know if I want to reactivate them.

So, my Dad and I are flying to London the weekend before Christmas to watch the 2013 World Darts Championship. We're really excited, because we wanted to go for over 10 years now.
Since we enjoy sports so much, especially together, I decided to get tickets for the UEFA Women's Euro in Sweden next year as soon as they get on sale. Maybe this can be something we try to do every year from now on - going to an international sports event... That would be so awesome! :)

Still really bummed though, that we didn't get tickets for the Olympics.

Power's out and there's gunshots and screaming and sirens. Not sure if zombies or just Stockton being Stockton.

Got major headache-age going on right now, and flickering candle light is doing me no favors.

The random thing? This is all occurring while I'm dressed like a priest.

I'm watching "Some Assembly Required," and when the annoying kid that's making an undead girl asks Will to look at the legs of a hot girl, she says no thanks, but I swear her eyes flick to them for just a moment. A sign of things to come, perhaps?

I've just send my first (and only) girlfriend a Facebook message. Because I suddenly realized we started dating almost nine years ago (and broke up 8 years ago), and I suddenly wondered how she is doing, because secretely she will always be special to me. So I just send her a message and asked her if she wanted to go for a drink sometime. To catch up. Is this like, totally weird or?

I've been wondering how long it will be before one of our fic writers does a Fifty Shades of Red - lol.
Any takers?

I vote in favor, but if I do it, it'd be as bad as the original :-p

Actually I've used the Kittenboard in a discussion a while ago, stating that though barely anyone here writes professionally, just about every fic has better smut and story line than that book X-D

It took me 4 years of working with kids, but I finally realized, I'm not sure, I'm simply the perfect size for holding hands to walk with a toddler.

I just find out that I missed the special double Doctor Who episode 'End of Time' at the end of season four in my watch the whole new Doctor Who series adventure a month ago, because it was not on the DVD box I was given! I always thought it was kind of strange that suddenly the doctor was Matt Smith in season 5....

Why is the government summoning everyone over 18 in this city to vote? For a damn name change of a park? Really? You only changed it a year ago and now offer to change it back if the people decide so... Why was there no vote in the first place? OMG!
