My sister's surgery was this morning, it went well and she's in recovery. I should be able to see her tomorrow.

well, mother will have her surgery on March, 14th. she will do a complete hysterectomy and verify her intestine and lung nodules.... she´s strong enough to handle this procedure and she could really use some good thoughts ^^ thanks ^^

I lost my job earlier this week. Kinda saw it coming, but it's still a shock. I'd been looking for other work before it happened and already had an interview lined up at another place here in town, but I found out last Friday that I didn't get it. I'm now back to sqaure one. I'm working with some different recruiters and I've seen some positions listed out there I could do ... but this is a scary time to be out of work.

And Mrs. Gorn is four months pregnant. The company gave me a decent severence package, but my benefits run out before the baby is due. If I don't find something soon ... I don't know what's going to happen.

I know most of you here don't really know me, and even those that know me don't "really" know me, but I would be grateful for any prayers you could send my way.

One of my friend and colleague is at the hospital after attempting to commit suicide. Pushing aside the suicide fact, I know her friends and I would appreciate prayers and good thoughts because we don't know if she's going to make it or not. I don't want her to die but she is so severely injured that she will never be the same, physically or psychologically. I just don't want her to suffer anymore, so I don't know what else to do

My grandmother, who is the only grandparent I've really known, is in the hospital. She's fallen twice recently, and they don't know why.

She's coming up on her 87th birthday this spring, has survived cancer twice, and is the most amazing woman I've ever met.

I'm so scared.

Thanks everyone for the prayers and good thoughts for my grandmother. She's been moved out of the hospital and to a recovery-type place to work on her strength. It's in her home town, where my uncle and his family live, so they can go and see her easily. My mom might be going up to stay with Nana once she's back at home. From what I've heard, they haven't identified a problem, but did exclude a bunch of scary things. She'd just added a new medication before these episodes occurred, so it might have been a side effect.

Hello Kittens, Sandi (Umgaynow) my wife went to the Dr. Thursday and was told she is having TIA's (small strokes). What they thought was Migraines was not. We are going to another Dr. soon to see how bad it has already hurt her and to stop a major stroke. I am scared and so very guilty. See when she got here her cholesterol was high. To make me happy she started cooking and eating Southern very bad for her. I feel this is all my fault. They said they don't have an appointment till June 14 but I will get her in Monday somehow i can a sure you all. I am rambling but I don't know what to do , feel, or say. I am miss fix it and I don't feel like i can fix this I am so adrift and helpless. Sandi is beside herself and scared. So please pray for her Thanks Dia.
