TPBM

Postby Mainer » Tue Feb 08, 2005 5:11 pm

I guess that could be me. I'm definitely a Patriots fan, well I am when they play in the super bowl, other than that I don't really care one way or the other about football. As for the Eagles fans, well... my friend was rooting for the Eagles just to spite me. Patriots won so that's all I care about. :banana

TPBM laughed their ass off at the cat commercial during the super bowl.

Okay, so I didn't actually win money on the superbowl, but had I taken the bet, I would have. :p I always bet on the superbowl and this year I just didn't get to talk to my dad first and make the bet. I could have had five bucks. :banana

Im happy that my two year old niece is a part of the television generation and is easily baby-sat by it. Makes keeping her for the night much easier... does that make me a bad person? :shock

Edited because I was a little slow on the uptake. Sorry Skittles didn't mean to step on your toes. If it helps... I just bought a new car... :peace

I came back from a 2-week business trip on Tuesday, I'm flying out for another 5-day trip tomorrow. A break over the weekend, then 2 days of off-site training, followed immediately by another business trip abroad. So all this stress, but not having enough time with my girl, means late nights and early mornings and tense muscles. Argh!

TPBM has tried Citrus Listerine and doesn't think it's any less of a mouth killer than regular or minty Listerine.

Tried one when I was young (who hasn't?) and took a disliking immediately, though I did smoke a cigar at one Oktoberfest in Switzerland a few years ago. I get mad when I see parents with very young children in one hand and cigarette in the other.

TPBM buys the same color socks from the same shop in bulk so they don't need to sort them out.

Re: TPBM

Postby skittles » Thu Feb 17, 2005 4:53 pm

around 15 years ago, I was in a restaurant while travelling to Georgia... the wait staff coming into the dining area and were sneaking looks at me. I was seated with my back to the kitchen so they had to walk to the other side of the dining room to see my face. I asked a friend who was with me if he thought that they were trying to look at me..... He said yes, they were. It was really freaky. I never figured out who they thought I was... maybe I looked like someone local or someone famous... but it gave me a real idea of what "famous" people must go through.. people peeking at you while you try to eat.
