No I wouldn't because my eldest nephew, who I was very close to when he was younger (I practically raised him the first year or two of his life, with both his parents working full time) is only 21 and he is a heroin addict...and his life is already shot to hell...he has already been in jail once, but only county...but he keeps falling off the wagon because once you become a junkie all you care about is your next high...and now he is looking at 10-15 in big boy jail if he blows the court ordered rehab he is waitlisted for...plus this has essentially destroyed his family...so no...definitely not

Were you ever genuinely in love with someone and never found the courage to tell them?

Yes, because I had a long-term girlfriend at the time who(m?) I was not "in love" with. I still think about this person and I hope she attends our five-year college reunion so I can tell her.

What are three albums you could not live without?
As one, they turn to the soda machine. It flies back into the door like a cannonball. Willow looks at it, at Tara. She doesn't let go of her hand.

Hmm, lets see...
I always stand on keys when I drop them
I never put umberellas up indoors
I have an anti-superstition, 'cos I think Friday 13th is a lucky day - not unlucky
Uhm, I have more, but I can't remeber them all at the moment.

Okay, lets try this one again (& I promise I won't delete it this time)...
What movie (or movies) have you seen so many times that you can recite the entire script practically word for word?

I had a really good guy friend in college who kinda went wacky after he broke up with his girlfriend. I've since then become close friends with the girlfriend, but my friendship with him pretty much fizzled. He's got a wife and a kid now. I think back on all the good times we had, he was truly a great friend, and I wish I had been more sympathetic towards him.

Well, I am not one to spin tunes purposefully for the love making - but there have been times when music has been on already or when the music/love making was particularily memorable. Those three are in chronilogical order as follows:

Shotgun down The Avalanche - Shawn Colvin
Shameless - Ani DiFranco
OnlyOne and Only - Gillian Welch.

What is your favorite smell?

Autumn in Colorado. A combination of dry leaves, burning leaves, and a distinct olive-like smell that I have never been able to figure out.

If you could meet anybody in the world, past or present, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

I know that this is a bit of a cop-out answer, but I really hope that the most enjoyable part is yet to come. So far it's all been a teensy bit of a let down.

Having my wisdom teeth out when I was 21 (more years ago than I dare to remember). All four extracted at once, under general anaesthetic. I take ages to come around from anaesthetic, and when I did finally come around I discovered bruises on my chest from the force needed to pull out the teeth. On top of which, one of the teeth had shattered in situ, leaving shards of sharp tooth inside my mouth for months afterwards. Three days in hospital, and a diet consisting solely of lukewarm soup on a teaspoon. Not as bad horrific an experience as some people, I'm sure, but still very unpleasant for me....

I know when I'm stressed out or concentrating really hard, it has been observed that I wiggle my fingers a lot as if I'm calculating or playing a musical instrument. I know that when I am aware of doing this, it has a calming or soothing effect on me.

What is the most important characteristic you look for in a partner?

That's easy - I practice self-hypnosis, it's sheer bliss..... Although if the love of my life actually lived with me right now then the answer would probably be different.

Yeah, I think I would. I have seen several hypno-births lately and it seems to be a really positive way to deal with labor, so if I had a baby I think I'd try it.
