Gerber daisies....I dunno why. They're colorful.

Do you eat seafood? If so, what's your favorite?

Tuna. Poor little tuna fishies that end up in my belly.

If you could meet any famous person, (that isn't Alyson or Amber) Who would it be?

Be myself. Personally, there's no easier way to drive someone bonkers.

Do you fast forward through movies to get to the good parts?

well, I've never owned a car but if I did it would have to be a shiny new one...just because it would be shiny and new...and I do like playing with gadgets.

To me, flower's are just so wimpy. But getting flower's is a really cute gesture and well, they will last longer then the chocolate so I'd rather go for the flowers.

Being really honest... I just recently brought a cell phone. I hate talking on the phone, I'm more of a text messaging person.

How often do you talk on the phone?

Phone? A lot and mostly with my wife. We have cell phones with free minutes in network so we're on the phone whenever one of us is in the car. We usually talk during the day when she gets done working and then again in the afternoon. Other than that, I talk a little for work but don't spend that much time on the phone in general because it's really hard to hear. But total? Maybe a hour a day?

"Love Song: I And Thou"
By Alan Dugan

Nothing is plumb, level or square:
the studs are bowed, the joists
are shaky by nature, no piece fits
any other piece without a gap
or pinch, and bent nails
dance all over the surfacing
like maggots. By Christ
I am no carpenter. I built
the roof for myself, the walls
for myself, the floors
for myself, and got
hung up in it myself. I
danced with a purple thumb
at this house-warming, drunk
with my prime whiskey: rage.

Oh, I spat rage's nails
into the frame-up of my work:
it held. It settled plumb,
level, solid, square and true
for that great moment. Then
it screamed and went on through,
skewing as wrong the other way.
God damned it. This is hell,
but I planned it, I sawed it,
I nailed it, and I
will live in it until it kills me.
I can nail my left palm
to the left-hand crosspiece but
I can't do everything myself.
I need a hand to nail the right,
a help, a love, a you, a wife.

what artist (of any medium) do you think is totally overrated and why?

Albert Paley.

King of the craft movment my ass.

I don't care if he forged the gates to the Renwick (don't get me wrong, they were great, in fact, I really like his earlier body sculpture stuff - that was rad; but it was 25 years ago and now all he does is these big ol phallic iron sculpture stuff? Bleh. Mr "craft movement" dosen't do anything by hand any more, and the stuff he does make is redundant, ugly and lacks any kind of insight or story or cultural reference.

Plus he didn't hire me cause I was a *girl*

ok, i *might* be a little bitter still.

In the same vein - what artist (any kind) just makes your little heart sing? why?
I am, you know.

Evanescence for some reason. Even though I have only listened to two of théir songs. Which in fact both absolutely makes my heart sing. ('My Immortal' and 'Bring Me To Life'.)

Superficial and shallow natures. At the moment a McDonald's advert is telling all about the World Cup being the greatest month or so of your life, and it pisses me off no end, as I think there are WAY more important things than the stupid World Cup. That's just one example of my fury at the apparent idiocy and superficial nature of the global society :( I could rant all day lol.

Sorry soccer/football fans :p

Ok a question...

If you were a student, and you have an exam the next day, would you a) Have already done lots of study and are well prepared for the exam or b) wait til the last few days and cram overnight??

When I was two, I experienced what I like to call The Perfect Moment. I'll remember it forever. My brother, who was four at the time, was still asleep, and I'm not sure where my parents had gone. I had just woken up from a nap by myself and instead of crying for someone to come and relieve me of my boredom, hunger and loneliness, I just stood in my crib and looked out the window at the most beautiful blue sky (not hard to come by when you live in Hawai'i, but still) I had ever seen. I will never forget that moment in which I, for the first time, forgot all about myself, because of the beauty of nature.

What is the one thing you've always wanted to change in your personality?

I wish I didn't appear so sugary sweet sometimes, and that my inner strength which is immense was reflected outwardly. Sometimes I can appear weak, just because I'm too agreeable. So yeah, I'd like to seal up the cracks.

If there was someone that you could absolutely trust that you knew for a fact would not judge you or ever betray your confidence, would you want to unload your deepest darkest secret that you have never told anyone to this person to relieve yourself of the burden?

I keep having this recurring fantasy of getting hit by a car. It's my most unusual fantasy because a) it doesn't involve sex, b) it doesn't involve my girlfriend, c) it doesn't involve anyone I know. It's just me and a car. I hope its just a fantasy that never becomes a reality.
