I got to hang out with my best friend yesterday. We went shopping for sunglasses, knitting supplies, and junk food; got yumminess from Starbucks; went by her house for me to borrow some books, steal a couple old photos, and pet her adorable dog; talked while driving around; dyed her hair and only minorly stained my bathroom purple; watched Gilmore Girls and a funny movie while eating pizza, popcorn, goldfish, and candy; and she started teaching me how to knit. It was awesome!!
Oh, and we're gonna go camping soon

i live near a swamp. it's in the woods by my house. today me and my little sister and brothers went exploring and came across the swamp and a tree that was about 9 feet laying across it. so we climbed all the way across the tree and i didn't fall in well i almost didn't helping my sister hehe, but lucky the branch didn't fall all the way down but im excited that i made it across, im getting more brave and confident in myselft

1st of june, Holyday to spain!! WOOP

Yesterday had some really sucky parts, but all in all it was awesome. I met up with three of my favorite people for lunch (didn't know if one of them would be there but she was, and thought an old friend I didn't really want to see would come but she didn't), where I got yummy food and acted like a complete dork, then they came back to my place and hung out a while longer just talking. My best friend showed me what I'd been doing wrong with purling, so hopefully my knitting will go better now. Then in the evening I talked to a friend for a couple hours, then I talked to one of my best friends for a long time which eventually led to having an amazing quote war into the middle of the night, and we're going to continue it today. I also watched a few episodes of Gilmore Girls, and found out a really sweet friend is going to send me cookies and brownies.
Despite a grumpy morning and periodic crying throughout the evening, it was probably the best day in quite a while, thanks to the awesome people in my life.

Today I got to attend my friend's naturalization ceremony and see her and 344 other people from 64 countries become US Citizens. It was quite touching. My friend has been in America for >12 years. She was here for school, then on a work visa. Then she was running out of time and knew she would have to leave. She had her tickets booked to return home and I was actually quite depressed to think she would leave. The summer before she had gone home for 2 months and I was so lonely at work. As the day grew nearer, she met and fell deeply in love with an American. They were married a month before her deportation at the Justice of the Peace (and a few months later at an elaborate wedding in Turkey). She invited me to the local wedding (well, to both weddings) and I wanted to go but Ash was about 5 months old and I was afraid that if I took him he would just cry and cry (Rachel was working and I had never taken him from the house by myself) so I didn't go. I have few regrets in life but that is one of them. I wish I had taken him and just done my best and been there with my friend.

Today I feel as if I was able to make up for missing that moment just a little. BTW - I saw next to her husband at the ceremony. Their two children were not in attendance but I know she was thinking of them as well.

Sandi and I love the new apartment it reminds us of our first love nest. It is very cozy and nice. I am totally working so many hours not much time for anything else. I am keeping up with the board by I phone the best I can wish it was more. It is hard to read the stories on I phone for sure. We do not have wifi at home yet The new job is very hard the boss is bipolar and wants to do everything the not so legal way I am getting use to it tough I dont think anyone in the medical bizz does. I wont sell out for sure he and I already had THE TALK of my lines. Thats the bad the good is that I get to help really really bad sick people and that fills my heart and soul. we live only 10 min from the job so I get to spend more time with my lovely wife and that is very good.

Even though I have a big day ahead of me, just seeing her before I brave the winter freeze (which, living in Australia, isn't really a freeze at all) makes me feel like it's Christmas
