I want to tell you about the first thought that came to my head a few mornings ago (my first thought THIS morning was, "Whoopeee!! It's Thursday, MKF!").
Almost without fail, I wake up every weekday around 5:30am or so, but I don't actually have to be up until around 7:30am. Every morning I squint at the clock and think, "two more hours and I have to wake up." A couple of days ago, though, I woke up at 5:30 - same as always - but for some strange reason my brain thought it was Saturday. Maybe I was dreaming about shopping or mowing the lawn, I don't know. But I remember distinctly the relaxing lazy feeling of satisfaction I felt when I went back to sleep. I remember thinking, "I don't have to get up at all ... I can sleep all day if I want to ..." Mrs. Gorn woke me up again at 7:30 - same as always - but those two hours were some of the best sleep I've EVER had in my life. I felt so refreshed and I was in a good mood all day. It was great.
There's no moral to the story, it was just a neat thing that happened one morning.
EDIT: It is with some satisfaction that I notice this is the LONGEST post by far in the entire thread
I spent most of my money on liquor and women,
The rest I wasted.
