Summer is back! Well it was this morning at work... To work under the sun is cool... Well around 11 it becomes a bit hot... but... at least it is not cold

I was out at a nice restaurant with Mrs. Gorn a couple days ago. The waitress brought us our salads, and Mrs. Gorn blurts out (loud enough for both the waitress and those sitting nearbye to hear), "Wow! These are some big fucking croutons!"

Now, bear in mind Mrs. Gorn is still learning English. She had no idea what she was saying was in any way offensive, and when she saw the surprised look on my face she said, "You say it all the time!" Not about croutons, of course, but I realized that in the privacy of my own house I actually am rather liberal with the F-word.

So, yeah, I'm a little more sensitive about where & how I use the fabulous F-word these days. I hope this feeling wears off soon, though, because I strongly dislike censoring myself.


In this particular case, though, it really is pretty fucking hot out there, MKF.

I just spent 5 hrs on an oven called a bus and when I was finished I looked like I had taken a shower in my cloths to say I missed my air condition bus from last year is an understatement. I checked the thermometer in the bus it was 120

Sweet Jesus, it was still 100 degrees (not heat index, that was the real temperature) at 7 o'clock tonight. Going outside was like stepping into an oven. So miserable. It's supposed to be 102 tomorrow.

On topic: it's fucking hot, alright. I don't mind that baking-in-an-oven heat...it makes my arthritic-before-their-time knees feel great! But as cliche as it is, it's the humidity that'll get ya. *cranks up the ac another couple degrees*

now that you put it that way, it doesn't sound so bad! lol though the xander/giles fanfic sounds wretched (don't get me wrong, i like some man on man action, just not inter-generationally).

it's finally cooled off here in so cal (72 at 9:40pm) and we've got the windows open. i love me some a/c but there is much to be said for open windows when there's a nice breeze going.
