Common snapping turtles are noted for their belligerent disposition when out of the water, their powerful beak-like jaws, and their highly mobile head and neck (hence the specific name "serpentina", meaning "snake-like").

I share this with you because today I encountered one the size of a beach ball in the pond at my portrait studio. It had a hold of a foot of the female mallard duck that also frequents the pond. Had I not been there, she would have been dinner. They got close to the shore and I kicked the crap out of the turtle and he let go...only to have the duck go right back into the water. The thanks I get...lol.

jas I think the weight limit for donating platelets remained the same. You can't do it at a van but it also doesnt drain you.
