On Sunday June 27 @ 2:30pm, on the 10th anniversary of the day we met, Kathy and I are tying the knot!! WOO HOO!! Church, reception, cake and all legal, MARRIED.

This weekend is a biggie for me too (but not as huge as yours). My girlfriend and I will be meeting for the first time tomorrow. We met via the Kitten and fell in love with each other when we weren't looking. We've been together for over seven months now, and we're finally getting to meet. She was coming to the States anyway (she's from Canada) to attend the wedding of her best friend happening in early-mid July. So there's a whole wedding connection.



Anyway, enough of my maniacal rambling. Contratulations to you, again!! Enjoy your day!

Huge congrats to Patches and Kathy, hope Sunday's weather is as pretty as today's has been. I'll write something more for you in the Island thread later.



As for my weekend plans, things are actually pretty quiet for a change. Might go out Sunday night to see a band but that's about it. Hope all the kittens get out and have fun this weekend.

As for my weekend plans...its Seattle Gay Pride Week . I think I may get out and actually do something in the city this weekend, perhaps take in the Dyke March and maybe, just maybe try the black electrical tape over the _____ (insert word)

Congratulations on both the wedding and the anniversary!



We're planning to celebrate our 20th next month by registering as domestic partners in our home state of NJ.



We had our Vermont civil union ceremony on our 18th anniversary, and were married in Toronto last year one month after our 19th (we weren't able to get up there for the anniversary itself, so we settled for the same numeric date).



Our reasoning is that this way we only have to remember one date, since as we get older the memory starts to go.



Best wishes to you both, and may your marriage be both long and happy.



BTW - recent statistics from Vermont indicate that straight couples there divorce at roughly twice the rate of same-sex civil union couples. We must be doing something right!

Congratulations Patches and Kathy. This weekend is the start of my summer vacation. I don't really get time to enjoy it though as we got kittens last week that I have to play with, fish to clean out, dog runs to scoop and a horse to muck out...oh and I have to give the kids swimming lessons Next week I get forced rest though because I am going to have an operation on my wrist on Wednesday. Hopefully I am still able to use my PC with my left hand
