New Year's Resolutions - 2004

Postby xita » Mon Dec 29, 2003 8:24 pm

I thought for this year, I would give myself a break. Instead of saying I'd do things I am surely never going to do, I am going to choose something I'll want to do. In 2004 I resolve to have more fun, plain and simple fun!

This year I plan on finding me. I've lost me somewhere along the way and I need her back. I think that goal is realistic, so here's hoping I follow through.

Who were you then? And who are you now? That you think you can figure it all out, the mathematics of regret. It takes two beers to remember now, and five more to forget. That I love you so..what. Yeah I love you so..what.

Huh. I've decided not to let people hurt me. How I'm going to accoplish this I have no idea, but I'm damned if I don't try.

Willow: Hey Buff. One more thing. Buffy: Yeah? Willow: I’m gay. Buffy: Okay, Will. Xander owes me ten bucks.

I definately need to eat more healthy. Question is will I actually do it. Probably not. I have good intentions though!! =)

I will make a valiant effort not to let too many little things bother me. I would like to keep the stress level down to an extreme minimum. Life has been good for me lately and I'd really like to keep it that way.

Well, this past year was horrible for me in the career department. I plan on making some serious changes. At least I hope to make some serious changes.

Grad school, career change, something, anything to get me out of this rut I have been in for too long. Because apparently, my goal to become independently wealthy by 30 isn't going to happen. :p

Ugh...30 is now peering around the corner at me from March and laughing.

My job entails me being one of those bad things that happens to people so my New Years resolution is to be a nicer person outside of work. But without letting people walk all over me. Easy to say but I find it's really hard to do.

I hope that the New Year treats everyone better than the last one did.

My New Year's resolution is to be able to keep the promises I make to both myself and my friends. It seems to me that however many times I tell myself I'm going to do something or finish something up, I never actually remember to do it. So this year, I wanna tie up all the loose ends in my life (or as many as possible).

I'm going to join a gym again!!

Also, I think its time to jump back into the scary "dating" world. I doubt I will find another crazy woman, I’ve fulfilled my quota. ;)

Happy New Year to you all!

I'm going to work out some kind of resolution to my girlfriend and I being 10,000 miles apart even if its a temporary resolution for now -either by visiting for a year on a tourist visa or seeing if I can do a job swap with the Australian branch of my company. :pray

Failing that I will start applying for immigration and get her to come here for a while!
